Virginia Green Midlothian in Midlothian

Ive been using Virginia Green for lawn care this past 7 months, and while I understand that the hot summer and new sod played a part, my lawn didn t look good at all it was brown almost the entire season and barely seemed to survive. They mentioned doing soil samples, but I never received any results. The bug control and fungus didnt seem to work either. The real issue, though, is that Ive tried to cancel my service twice over the last two months, but Im still being charged. Customer service has been frustrating. I get passed around, explaining the same issue repeatedly, but nothing changes. They need to improve both the results they deliver and their communication.

Fellow was a bit messy. Left mud and dirt over drive way and side walks. Took pics because I was so shocked. Don t remember this condition from before.

You are doing OK. When you driver say he rang the door bell and knocked on the door, I call BS! We are sitting within 29 from the door bell and another five feet from the front door and NO one rang it. Dont lie and say you did.

Very Poor Customer Service. Called several times and finally when connected was asked by an agent to leave a voice message to manager, emailed them but no response and on chat the agent would not respond despite being online.

My regular guy, Alex is great! He communicates directly with me. I get notified the day before he s coming and he always answer my texts quickly. If I have a concern he ll stop by to take a look, sometimes the same day if he s in the neighborhood and get back to me with good advice. I m always emailed a complete report of what was observed, how it was treated, and given advice. Very attentive! In between treatments I get emails with good suggestions I m very pleased!

Great service! My only complaint is the tech seems to walk fast and am concerned the spray could be more effective if he slowed a bit. This year I have noticed weeds whereas last year didnt get them. Maybe its just this year. Overall, really happy with Virginia Green!

Since early fall Virginia Green has been treating our lawn, including aeration and seeding. Our front yard is now 2 years old and looks simply amazing. It looked good the first and second year but it s now thick and consistent. Our backyard was a big concern since it was hard packed dirt and weeds. I threw a significant amount of lime, fertilizer and straw on it with no success. Virginia Green also aerated and seeded the backyard and to my surprise, there s grass!!! It s not full but it looks really good! We have a 2 year old German Shepherd, he leaves yellow/ brown spots in the yard. Virginia Green helps combat those effects while providing a detailed report via email including any observations from the technician. This is the first time I ve had a lawn treatment service. I ve been a do it myself with a bucket kinda guy. Well, for the price and time, I am a supporter of Virginia Green!!!

We were originally customers of The Lawn Boy, but Virginia Green bought them out, so we then became Virginia Green customers by default. The previous company was spectacular, so Virginia Green had some big shoes to fill and I waited to see changes I didnt like, but didnt find any. My price stayed the same and the lawn continues to look great. My only complaint is that I wish I had about a weeks notice when theyre coming out, for planning purposes.

The technician from Virginia Green Midlothian is Will, and he always does a great job. He is very good about giving us 48 hours before a treatment just in case we need to do anything in the yard to make the treatment easier to apply like leaves in the fall removed and debris in the yard after windy days. He always has a positive attitude and willing to respond to any current questions. He always lets us know when he is on the property before he starts the treatment. Just a positive, uplifting person.

Since using Virginia Green my lawn has come to life and the cost is very reasonable compared to buying the same supplies myself. One of their technicians Austin has done a great job & was very professional! Definitely recommended!

Their tech did not use their brains when deciding to apply fertilizer. I was sick in the hospital and could not respond to a text or prepare my yard, so they sprayed a layer of leaves. They charged me 55$ for that, and it is useless. I called customer service and they treated me as a hostile, interrupting me and insisting on the fact that they did it right. Eventually, someone called me back after I emailed a complaint to their company. They refunded my money and made it right. Would be a better review had they trained their reps better. I would consider employing them again, but I just know what to expect. Up to them to surprise me with great service.

I had Virginia Green for years. Service is great when the technicians actually do their jobs. I ve caught them on different occasions on my home surveillance half doing my yard or barely doing it all. They ll do the front and not the back, the front and the sides and won t even go into the backyard when it s just as large if not larger than my front yard. It s gotten to the point where I ve had to switch services, I mean for the money we pay it s just unacceptable and I have tried to reason with them too many times. To your techs: I work full time as well and sometimes I just don t feel like doing my job so I get it, but that s what you signed up for and what you are there for. People have cameras and surveillance systems and you can be seen in 4K blatantly ignoring your job duties after service has been paid for. To potential customers: Do your due diligence before subscribing with their company.

The first year was great. 2nd year, they couldn t get the tall weeds under control and kept giving excuses. I always asked for a call before service, never got it. Then they aerated my lawn and hit 3 sections of irrigation pipe. My yard was marked and they refused to take responsibility. Poor quality AND I have to pay for repairs. Horrible service.

Had been, very successfully, using Lawn Boys for our landscaping. Subsequently they were purchased by VA Green and the lawn deteriorated; bare spots and moss buildup. Twice we had technicians visit us to offer advice, which was pretty much limited to perhaps you could add more mulch beds . After spending some 30 hours taking out moss, I contacted VA Green and asked for either a refund for the applications that did not enhance the lawn or a free aeration and reseeding - in each case I was told that they would do nothing unless I signed up for another year of treatments ..

Yard looks better than ever before. I recommend Virginia green. May want to shop around for aeration they are way pricey. They will sell you bags of grass seed.

After a year on their program large sections of my grass is dying. Ive also got weeds in several areas. They send out an Arborist that says I dunno maybe too much water from the downspouts but Im not sure and then its back to status quo. So, I decided to cancel when I found another more personalized service whos owner actually came out and talked to me for 30 minutes about a plan to get the lawn back into shape. I call VA Green to cancel and all the lady on the phone can do is put my account on hold until someone else calls me back later today to confirm cancellation. I told her thats not necessary Ill just confirm cancellation now. She told me that isnt possible because she doesnt have the authority. Absolutely ridiculous game they are playing. Worse than the cable companies. Well see if they actually call back.

Great customer service all the time. I have met with many techs onsite and talked couple customer service people. They are all professional and always kind. My grass is looking good and happy with Virginia Green.

Not as good as it used to be.

Lawn looks incredible, especially compared to neighbors who use other companies. Management has been responsive to any concerns that I have ever had. Its not cheap but if you average out the cost of materials and your time to treat yourself, its worth the money.

Sales person was very misleading on the phone. I explained I was looking for a one-time aeration service, he led me to believe that they could do this, proceeded to take down all of my information, then let me know the company only offers continual/ongoing services. He should have told me that in the beginning....a complete waste of time for me.

Cant beat the outcome of using Virginia Green for a great lawn year round

Was on the estate plan for 5-6 years. Each year the weeds got thicker and I would get the same answers from their agronomist. Well come out in March and game plan for next year. Never once did they do that I guess because of turnover and not communicating with each other. I thick the company grew to big and cant keep up with yards. Find a smaller local company that will stay on top of the needs of your yard.

After TruGreen absolutely killed my lawn I called VG. I had been having lawn envy of neighbors using them for the past year. Just weeks after they came and did aeration and seeding, my lawn is the best it s ever looked. Bright, healthy, green, thick, and tempting me to just lay on it to take a nap. My dog also loves staying outside and laying on it now.

My family has been using Virginia Green services for years. They are extremely knowledgeable about the grass in our area and how to seed properly using their developed seed that is tailored to our specific region. We end up saving so much time at a cost that is reasonable and competitive, so we opted to save our own time maintaining our yard and leave it to the professionals. The service professionals are incredibly kind and professional and always call ahead of time. I m very happy with their services!

Customer for about two years now. Recently switched to their top of the line plan, Estate service, and my lawn looks worse now than before I engaged them. Worst issue is actually getting through to their customer service team, or getting them to respond to email. They simply do not respond. If things dont turn around soon I am going to switch service or go back to my do it yourself Scotts program. Can easily find another service for things like aeration and seeding, etc ...
