Sunny Day Landscaping & Lawncare in Midlothian

This landscaping company has zero respect for the neighbors surrounding the lawns they are serving. If you want to anger your neighbors, then hire them. They’ve parked their big rig repeatedly in front of my trash cans each trash day. They’ve parked in front of the fire hydrant on my property in which I had to call my neighbor and threaten to call the police. Today, they parked so close to my driveway, I could barely turn into it and can’t see to back out properly. I have asked Michael to park on the side of the street of the neighbors lawns they are mowing. He said that was inconvenient for him and that in Chesterfield County, he can park wherever he wants. Every week I put my trash cans out, I have to park my car on the street in front of my home to keep them from parking in front of them and blocking my ability to get trash pickup. And yes, the garbage collection guys have come around during the time they are mowing the properties across from me.

The landscapers that work for this company has blown debri and dirt on my car/truck everytime they come out in the parking lot of the business I work for I would not hire .

We’ve been using Sunny Day for about a year now; they are doing all the grass treatments, seedings, and aerating- and doing it well at a reasonable price! They do not do our mowing, but do our neighbors. They also did some brush removal and backyard landscaping which was done very well. I’d recommend them 100% to anyone. The owner is a really nice person who did our estimate on both jobs. His wife works in the office and has always been there to help if needed.

I've had Sunny Day for my leaf removal for several years. They do an amazing job! What takes me many weekends of hard work they do in a couple of hours. Not a leaf left in my entire yard!!! They also have aerated and seeded my yard and they do an excellent job. Would highly recommend Sunny Day.

Incredible landscaping job on our backyard! Had shopped around for a few quotes that were a little outside of our price range and all seemed to have their own input on what we should do to our backyard. Sunny Day worked with what we wanted to do the entire time, built incredible drainage that we did not anticipate for, and truly transformed our backyard. The job included: building stone steps, building a stone seat wall, building a retaining wall, maintaining grade of ground, rock-scaping, building stone landing for steps and installing synthetic turf. Great job, highly recommend and would use again.

Sunny Day provided absolutely excellent service during the nearly two years I lived in Richmond. From stump removal, sod laying, side yard renovation (seriously) to maintenance...everything was great. The value is amazing - much better pricing that Virginia Green and others in the area. Please consider Sunny Day and reach out to Mike/Nicole before signing a contract with the more "well-known" providers in Richmond.
