Not pleased with there service they came to do my driveway and small picnic area and did not do what they were ask tried to talk to Sam and he would not talk on phone all he would do is text said that I had been rude to his people and they would not have anything else to do with me. Ask how I was rude and no answer. Only thing I told his office was the email I got said they were going to be at my place at 8 and at 10 I called and they told me they were not gonna be there until 1 all I told here was it would be nice to have gotten a phone call instead of me waiting on them. At the end of the job I told his Forman that I was not pleased with there work and wouldn t be giving them any more work. Just don t pay them until you are happy with there work.

They did a great job building our brick paver patio.

My yard is on a slope and combined with recent construction on my home. A drainage problem developed which would have caused me major foundation issues the future. I was given Stratton Landscaping info to call for follow-up advise and a quote. Sam came out and gave the same assessment. Within two weeks my water/drainage issues were resolved. Working with Stratton Landscaping was a pleasure. Their was reasonable, but more importantly I now have peace of mind!!! I would highly recommend their service!!!!

Sam just helped me move in a few items of furniture in my house even though he was working on my neighbors house. Great guy. I m sure he operates his business with the same professionalism that he did with helping me move the furniture.

Unfortunately I have not had a great experience with Stratton. I had them install a stamped concrete patio. The first stain was applied incorrectly and had to be redone. The second they left entire areas unstained and had to come back again. Even after that there are still areas that could use touching up. Now the stain is scraping off in areas already. I have reached out to them but they have not responded at all. Disappointing customer service after install.

We had extensive work done on our yard by Sam and his crew. He transformed the soggy, wooded area behind our house into an actual back yard complete with a fence and drainage! We also had trees removed from our front yard along with regrading and a brand new paved driveway! Sam was very responsive and kept us updated every step on the project. We had a couple changes and he accommodated them no problem. Any concerns were handled before they became problems. Our kids love their new back yard and we are so happy with the work by Stratton Landscaping!

They cleared out old leaves and weeded around our deck stairs prior to laying down the gravel, made sure the driveway was level, and were meticulous with the edges of the driveway. I was kind of at my wits end because I needed a lot of work done, but Im not a landscaper so I didnt know what to do. We were in need of a tree service to remove three large branches from a very tall pine tree that were resting loosely on other branches just waiting for the next ice storm or big wind. Stratton Landscaping responded quickly to our need and came out on a Sunday to climb this tree and remove them safely. Great job done!!

Sam and his team showed up with creativity and confidence with challenging terrain on a hillside to remove a 60 pine tree that had fallen down an embankment during an ice storm and landed on a boat house. Not once did Sam question their ability to get the job done and did it professionally and at a fair price. Repaired some collateral damage without hesitation; very much appreciated. Stratton did an amazing job removing two large trees without damaging the decorative trees and shrubs that grew around them. they removed all the branches, limbs and trunks and did a super cleanup job. t They were reasonably priced and we will hire them again if needed.

Stratton Landscaping just completed our gravel driveway and WOW is all I can say about the whole process. First off, the responsiveness and communication from Sam and his office was exceptional. I inquired online about getting a quote and I got a call within an hour to schedule the quote that very same day. Sam was detailed, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The price was very reasonable (cheaper than a few other companies I d inquired with) and I was told I could get on the schedule in 2-3 weeks. Imagine my delight when I got a text two days after making the deposit that I was on the schedule for 5 days out!! Start to finish, from getting a quote to having the job completed, was only 8 days. The work they did was top-notch. Our driveway is a large horseshoe with a straight side shoot, and it has been very neglected for 8 years. I had no idea it could look so sharp and beautiful. I m blown away by the results. They took such care in grading, packing down the new gravel and hand raking to make it look super neat. They really do deliver on the full service gravel repair and install that they advertise. With any work at the house, I usually end up going after it s done and tidying up so it s totally neat. I am not kidding, not a single stone has to be raked into place after they were done. Back to Sam and the communication. You just don t find that level of service anymore. They use a really nice automated system to text when the job is scheduled, when they re on the way, and when the job is done. Reviewing the quote online and paying the deposit was so easy. I got an email receipt the moment they were done and driving away. I was at work while they were doing the job so my husband was there to do a final look before they left. I got a call from Sam that night making sure I was happy with it too, and that was SUCH a thoughtful touch. I cannot recommend Stratton Landscaping enough. If your gravel driveway is tired and old, contact them to bring it back to life, you will not be disappointed. 10/10!! My only regret is not doing this sooner!

Had a monster job for these guys to clear a property that had been sitting vacant for a couple of years. Aside from the occasional mowing, the landscaping had gotten out of control. Quick estimate, quick scheduling, and quick completion. These guys are a great company!

Stratton Landscaping did an AMAZING job creating a new driveway for me. I have been following their work on Instagram for weeks and when I moved to the Lakeside area, I knew I wanted these guys to do the job for me. Everything from beginning to end was easy, professional and I was kept up-to-date. Price was competitive with others but responsiveness and pictures of other jobs is what sold me. The two guys arrived early and worked through the day. Sam came toward the afternoon to finish the job and walk me through the end. They even added extra gravel for me in some other places. I was very pleased with the work. My neighbors compliment me and now I have extra parking. I will definitely use Stratton Landscaping again for any future needs and my parents are setting up something soon!

I received excellent service from Kevin and Walter, and an additional guy who did some stump grinding, in preparation for a gravel drive area off my alley. They very skillfully removed an old chain link fence first, along with a low cobblestone wall, and then were able to do the necessary stump grinding. Then Kevin and Walter got to work with the grading process ..and the delivery of the stone went very smoothly. They were pretty meticulous and I am very pleased with my new gravel drive area. I would highly recommend this company to anyone Sam coordinates things and is very responsive..

For a large portion of our yard, Stratton also stripped the existing layer of weeds, rock all while smoothing and contouring the remaining surface in preparation for planting grass. They brought in topsoil, spread it evenly and spread seed finishing with a covering of a layer of straw. They completed the work they agreed to perform on time and on budget and we have been very pleased with the results thus far. Stratton has been very conscientious with follow-up and additional advice. I would definitely use their services again.

Stratton installed gravel driveway Sept 2021. However only a month later, weeds are coming through. Have since learned that Stratton should have advised/installed a weed barrier (ex a grid along with salt). As a homeowner & the amount of money invested, I relied on Stratton to provide the best professional service. After the appearance of weeds, I contacted Stratton about the problem. Stratton offered no concern or resolution.

Stratton Landscaping did a great job for a fair price. Took down a tree and cut up a partially downed tree that might have fallen on my fence. Trimmed all my older trees up 20 which opened up my backyard to get more sunshine. They cleaned up all branches and debris leaving everything neat and in good order. I will use them again.

After making several querys to tree services, Sam with Stratton Landscaping was the first to reply. He made an appointment to come by and look at the trees I wanted removed. He was prompt getting to the appointment and had everything with him to give me an accurate cost of the work on the spot. The pricing that Stratton Landscaping quoted was a good deal for the work proposed and it was below the competitions. Sam answered any questions I had promptly and he and his crew showed up the day of the work on time. These guys started working on my trees at 8AM. When I came home at 6PM they were still at it. Sam told me that his equipment for loading the logs and brush into the trailer had broken and he and his men loaded everything by hand. Very impressive. Even though their loading equipment failed, they did not wavier from the work and finished the job with rakes, pitch forks, and muscles. This company has many more services than just tree removal and I would bet they are just as professional working on any of the other services they offer. I will definitely use them again.

They removed a huge limb that was rotten. They were very cautious, and made sure the limb wouldn t fall on anything as it was being cut. Even removed a few small limbs without being asked. Cleanup was very good. Very polite and had a can do attitude. I would highly recommend them.
