Weed Man Lawn Care in Midland

I had high hopes for this lawn care service, but my experience didn t quite meet my expectations. Communication was a bit off, and there were some missed details.

Dishonest company. All the information they say is misleading, just to get you to sign up! They were late with my first treatment, so they did 2 treatments together and charged me for both and I didn t expect that, but, ok. I received my first treatment, but unfortunately, not all the weeds were treated. During my sign up, the representative mentioned that they are happy to come back out if all the weeds are not gone FREE OF CHARGE . When I called for this, I was told, that they no longer offer that treatment, I would have to wait until the next treatment AND PAY. when I called to just cancel my services, the gentleman said that I was not serious about caring for my lawn! He also said he does not know who I spoke to that gave me that misinformation. i just read on another site this We do, however, offer reapplications by customer request after a scheduled application has been provided if said scheduled program application has not sufficiently cared for existing weeds . so, why is there a disconnect? Why be rude about it? Just stay away.

Every year about the end of may they call me and i have told them to take me off their list and to never call me again. Yet they clearly dont listen and call again the very next year. I have told them not to call and yet they do and I will have to tell then 3 or 4 times over the course of about 2 weeks to get them stop calling me. I will block one number from them and they will just switch to another number in another office. I am to the point of reporting them to the federal do not call registry. Im that tired of of them calling.

They didnt show up on the day they said they would. We had moved some plants that were in the yard in preparation for them. Since they didnt come, we moved them back to get sun. Then, they showed up on a different day, unannounced, and were too lazy to move them. They spread their chemicals all over them and killed them. Poor service; would not recommend.

This company is very dishonest and they constantly telemarket you. We used them last year, I thought I was hiring a local company because they told me they were in Fenton. Lie I had brand new sod and they called telling me I had a invasive weed. Lol lie . This year after telling them last fall I didnt want there service any longer they came and sprayed in the spring with no agreement while I was still in Florida. Now they call me nearly ever day trying to get paid for there unwanted and unsolicited service. Never give them a credit card they would be hard to cancel. The weed man can pound sand!!!

Charged me 2x the amount they told me it was going to be. Was a month late to do the job. By the time they finally came out, they sprayed the wrong area, then waited another 3 weeks before they sprayed the right place. It was to late, and the weeds were out of hand, and there was nothing they could do. Dont waste your money. Shady company. Do not recommend.

Both the office and on site technicians are very responsive and knowledgeable. I ve used various lawn fertilizer companies in the past. However Weed Man has been the best at letting me know when they will be out. With dogs it is important to be able to lock them in the house before the fertilizer is put down. Good price too

Not only did Weed Man do a a grab job on our lawn, when they call they are polite, professional, personable and NOT PUSHY! Technicians leave message after each application of exactly what was. applied to your yard. Also they will leave instructions on what you should do, if necessary to help your lawn.

No I dont want a quote for lawn service in the middle of winter from a pushy sales person who smells ironically like weed coming to my door at dinner time. Have better ways of getting sales than sending solicitors.

Price was good and my lawn looked great. I didnt like that they tried to auto renew after I told them not to in the fall. If they would have fertilized the house I no longer owned I wouldnt have paid them.

I do not like the way they do business the treatments they did had no effect they came unannounced didnt ask for it they still charged me for their mistake now they wont leave me alone and I have now requested them to stop calling twice 4 neighbors around me said they stopped using weed man for almost the same reasons no results and the expense for nothing

They ignore clearly posted No Soliciting signage. The salesperson DID see the sign, he stopped half way to my door & turned to go away, then turned back and approached my door & rang my bell. That behavior suggests the company intentionally instructs/compels salespeople to ignore the signs, which is willful violation of the law. If he hadn t stopped, began to walk away before returning I would have brushed it off as ignorance. But he hesitated before approaching, indicated he knew he wasn t supposed to be doing so. They also left physical evidence in an advertisement on my door, 2 feet above my No Soliciting sign. Promo code DH24. If the company intentionally breaks the law, how honest are they with customers?

My yard looks great, but I cancelled my service due to the way your agent spoke to me. She needs to be trained in customer service. I was calm when I spoke to her and it was very clear that she was riled up and ready to argue. Two services were performed at once and my card was charged one day and then charged again for the same amount two days later. Of course I thought it was a mistake so I called. An agent called me back and told me what happened. First of all, she had a very snotty tone and kept saying that I was notified by text that those two services were being performed. As a new customer I did not realize that it was considered to be two services and that I would be charged twice. When I initially set this up, it was not explained to me that this could happen. So maybe this is something that should be explained to new customers, that if they come out close to your next spray date, they will perform both services and that you will be charged twice, two days apart.

I have used Weedman for three summers. I know staffing has been tough with many industries and believe it is turning around. I did have a bit of problems with my lawns health but feel it it coming back around now that they are able to find great staff. The office staff and on-site team is very professional and always tries to fix any problem areas.

Sent some nice young guys to my home to sell their service. I agreed to one treatment thinking they would talk to me about anymore treatments. They didnt they just did them. Ended up at $120. They also said they recorded me agreeing to the treatment. They argued me up and down to no avail. I would never reccomend their services based on just the customer. Not an honest business in my opinion. service.

Called trying to sell me service and I listened to their sales pitch and told them Id have to think about it. I then asked for the pricing to be sent to me for review and consideration. She said she could send me a confirmation letter, that I assumed was the confirmation of the pricing they were offering. They tried to record me saying I was accepting this pricing and accepting service, so basically running a scam. When I realized what they were doing I said forget it. Pretty sleazy.

Ive delayed using Weed Man in the past for various reasons but this year I decided to go with them. I travel extensively for work so its essential that I have someone reliable to handle my lawn care. Theyve done an EXCELLENT job with weed treatment and mowing. Everyone that Ive been able to talk to has been knowledgeable about my lawn and what to do to get it looking great. absolutely the worst. They tell you three treatments do 5 and bill for 5. They did treatments not asked for and billed for them. Destroyed a Japanese maple and blamed the tree. It was fine the first 8 years till you touched it. Dont do business with this company.
