I can’t express enough how happy I am that we hired Monteverde to do our front walkway and spring clean up around our pool! The quality of work is BEAUTIFUL and the price was very reasonable for how much they completed at our house. I always had respect for labor workers working outside in various weather conditions, but Ignacio’s crew worked very hard in the cold and then hot conditions with ease. I just can’t believe how much work it is to do pavers. Paul had to cut pretty much each one by hand and it came out gorgeous and perfect! I have so much respect for what they do! Ignacio had a vision for our front and he exceeded my expectations of what was to be completed !! Even the work around our pool amazed me! They cut our pine trees, raked under them, mulched, picked a million weeds, weed wacked, and then leaf blew for us. Best part of all was they were extremely professional and kind (especially Jacinto ( sorry if I spelled it wrong! they also called him Toni) to my two young sons that had to say hi to them every five minutes. 😂 They also left nothing behind and cleaned up very well! I can’t thank them enough !!! We are so happy and appreciative of their hard work .! 💕

Fast, neat and professional service

They did a great job trimming, edging, weeding and mulching all around my home. Was like night and day difference. They also helped build a hill on my property with some fallen wood from all around the yard. Very professional.

Be very cautious in dealing with them. I knew and trusted them, so when a tree had fallen on my home, he agreed to fix the roof, deck and other damage that was outlined in the Insurance company papers. He would not come out right away, despite there was a hole in my ceiling and it was winter. I had to call him several times over a period of a week and he finally came and cleared off enough of the debris from the roof so the insurance company could come and it wasn't until i was concerned about the bad weather coming that he finally came and put a tarp on the damaged areas. He asked for cash, did not want checks, and he never provided receipts, which raised red flags for me so i began recording everything without telling him. I had already given him three thousand dollars so i couldnt pay someone else to do the work he was supposed to do. Without receipts, luckily in NYS these emails and covert recordings are admissible evidence to prove he was paid in full, far more than the cost should have been, as he asked for every penny the insurance company gave me, though didn't do most of the work we agreed he would, even today, he sent invoices to the insurance company so that they would pay me more money to give him, for work which he never did. Now i have to sue him, contact the State, Attorney General, and the BBB, and file in County Court, both to get my a notice of completion for the insuirance company which he said he sent them but never did, and to get my money back which he admitted in recordings he received. If you use them, make sure to get receipts for everything. Do not give him cash, be careful to audio record everything if he refuses to give you receipts or invoices. It is a nightmare working with someone like this and now i have to go to court to adjudicate the matter so please learn form my mistakes.

My husband and I hired them to redo a retaining wall walkway and front steps. The professionalism quality of work and price was amazing. Our home looks like a new house. I would recommend these guys over any other company locally. We contacted several people to price this out and Nacho is the most passionate person I met who loves what he does and treats your house like his own. Thank you in advance for a fantastic job we are so happy.

If I could give Monteverde Landscaping minus 5 stars, I would. They are extremely unresponsive and unprofessional. Initially they came out quickly to give me an estimate for some work I needed done. After that, I couldn't get them to return my calls or answer my texts. I needed a revision to the initial quote, a second quote for some additional work and a schedule of when they would start. Since it had taken several weeks to get in touch with them, I gave them a deadline to receive the quotes and a schedule with a reminder text to them that morning. The day came and left without even the courtesy of a call or text back. I would not recommend and would discourage anyone else from using Monteverde. If they are this unresponsive and unprofessional initially I could only imagine the trouble getting them to come back if there was any problem after they were paid. I've since then hired a VERY responsive company and am very happy with their service. Just a suggestion but move on past this company, there are others that are much better.

Punctual, excellent. Outstanding landscaper.Prices are very good. Hardworking, considerate of budget. Beautiful job on flower beds, hedges, planting, and edging. Very clean, honest and pleasant. Would highly recommend.
