I've worked with Prima Pros for years. They have repaired and replaced flooring in my rental properties. They have been able to work with my deadlines and get things done in a timely manner. Thank you!
Prima repainted the interior of my condo and put in new flooring. Andy, who oversaw the project, recommended perfect options (both carpet and LVP planks) that were the perfect balance of quality and price based on my needs. I had to reschedule twice on my side, and they were super nice about it, and fit me back into their schedule quickly. Even with an extra trip needed for the painting - again, my fault - they still came in right at the price they quoted me. I am already looking to rehire them for work on my new home!!!
Beware unwritten terms and fees -- Prima treats hourly rates as flat fees. I got an agreement for summer 2023 and had signed it. Before submitting it, I asked how Prima bills for the $70/hr weeding. There are 12 weeding sessions for a total cost of $840. I planned on laying mulch after the first weeding and anticipated little subsequent weeding since I don't have many beds. I was told if I elected that service, all fees ($840) would be billed even if there was no or little weeding needed after the initial weeding. Prima declined to negotiate a lesser number of sessions because it indicated 12 was the number "[t]hat is what we feel helps us to best keep the weeds under control." That's a zero sum approach and raises concerns about its customer service. Nine of the 15 services are billed between $70-$90 an hour. I don't mind hourly fees, if I trust the vendor. A vendor should bill for the work done when it quotes an hourly rate -- not quote hourly rates and then treat the aggregated number (hourly rate $ x number of sessions) as a flat fee. This zero sum approach on weeding is a big red flag. Don't recommend and recommend everyone carefully review the proposed agreement.
Andy estimated everything we needed to have done to convert a 100-year-old home from three apartments back to a one family home. This was critical for us to determine whether or not we could afford to put an offer on it. Once we had an accepted offer, he coordinated all the work to be completed within just four months. He was down to earth, organized and knowledgeable. With living over an hour away, we certainly couldn't have done it without him! From start to finish, working with Andy was a wonderful experience!
They came to the house for a flooring estimate. I liked the guy, price was right and he enthusiastically assured me he could get what I was looking for (standard honey oak, nothing special). None of the samples were right, so he said he would drop some more off. Took 3 weeks and many FU on my part for someone to drop off the samples. None were even close to what I wanted. I told him I would increase the budget if the flooring was right. He said they don't carry what I was looking for and I should go else where. We also had arranged for him to stretch the carpet at another place. Took weeks to get arranged and the guy was hours late. I do not recommend this place at all.
We had many projects around the house that we just did not have time to do nor the expertise to do. This group came out did an excellent professional evaluation and assessment of our needs. George, the handyman, was amazing! Pointed it out differences and slight uniqueness of our home, while finishing projects that a previous homeowners and also the professional windows installers hadn’t done correctly. He also found ways to do it most cost effective, checking with us each step of the way. Will definitely be using again!
Prima Pros has been incredibly easy to work with! We are in the process of getting ready to sell our home, and Tim helped us quickly and easily coordinate some interior repairs. George completed the repairs and was very professional. We’ve enjoyed working with them so far, and will continue to work with them for painting and carpeting replacement.
I have been in the trades/remodeling, handyman & painting for 30 years, but I can't always get to my projects. They remodeled my kitchen, painted throughout, and replaced doors and trim. All in less than a month! They are people of their word, with integrity and character! So I ended up teaming up with them!! Way to go Prima Team!! Very impressive! After a year, I'm still completely thrilled to be part of the Prima Team!!

Prima Pros provided a Master Electrician to complete repair work at one of residences; they were on time, professional, courteous and completed the repair in record time. I will continue to use them for all my maintenance needs. And looking forward to working with them on remodeling as well.

Had them out to do some interior painting. While they did give us a good price on the job and were quick they did a rather poor job. They got paint spray over a lot of our surfaces and missed areas around our window trim. They did good on the painting but it was just honestly a sloppy job.

I had an issue with a screened-in porch located under a large deck. It was deteriorating and allowing fungus to grow on the cement slab. The 6 person hot tube on that slab had also failed. I wanted the screened- porch to be torn out and the hot tub gone. Both the upper and lower decks needed to be power washed and some additional repairs made. Prima pros agreed to bid the work and they came in lower than I expected. The job was finished by 1 man (Bart) in 2.5 days and I could not believe the high quality of work in cold rainy conditions. When Tim Meidl learned of our need to locate contractors for several, large home maintenance jobs, he quickly went into action locating skilled and competent contractors. In a short while, there were follow up contacts from contractors that led to cost estimates for the proposed job. The whole experience in the removal of a large ash tree went smoothly because of Tim s quick response in getting a contractor to evaluate and submit a proposal for the work. Tim s oversight is valuable and assures customer satisfaction. No need to worry that the ball will get dropped on a project. My husbancd and I are in our late 70s and appreciate the ease of working with Tim who is accessible and aims to please.
Moved into a new home and on the day I moved in they began remodeling my basement. Great group of professionals who are highly skilled, and did a great job on how modern my basement looks. I will higher them again to do further work in the future!
