We ve used Carrington for the past 2 years and our lawn looks better than ever. The price is reasonable and they have a wide variety of services. We have loved the attention to detail and care they provide.

Great service- with very few issues since we have been with Carrington for almost 20 years.. They are prompt and do an excellent job. Anything needs to be taken care of is done so in a timely manner.

Dont risk hiring them. They clearly dont understand basic rules of operating motor vehicles.

We have used Carrington to treat and care for our yard the past 4 years. We have the nicest looking front yard in the neighborhood and the best backyard we could have given the fact we have 4 dogs. We highly recommend this summer lawn care service.

Ben went above and beyond on my yard this morning! He was here to do my organic fertilizer and I had a backyard full of hickory nuts. I had planned on blowing the mess into my garden myself before the aeration, but instead Ben blew them all for me into the garden before he fertilized. It was such a help and a kind thing to do that was not on his previously planned fertilizing agenda. Thank you Carrington for employing workers that are willing to go above and beyond!

Weve used Bre Cotter on two projects now, and would recommend her to anyone. Her vision comes to life in each project. She listens to dreams of customers and finds a way to make them a reality. Her talents as a horticulturalist paired with the on-site care of the team at Carrington made for such an awesome experience. Update June 2023, Since Google will not allow multiple reviews of the same business, updating my original review... I was so happy with the work Carrington did in 2021, I hired them again to replace boulder retaining walls that were collapsing (they did not install the original ones). Mark once again came up with a design that was not only functional and resolved the underlying issues with water that caused the initial failure but enhanced the design by using retaining wall block that matched our home better than the boulders. The installation crew was amazing once again. Same experience as October 21. Super detail oriented and careful. They built an amazing product and cleaned up every night. One week since they have been here and you can hardly tell they were even here (besides the beautiful new retaining walls) even though they used machinery during the project. I would not hesitate to use Carrington for future projects. They are the epitome of professional from top to bottom! October 2021 - I hired Carrington to design and build landscaping around our entire home and a patio for our newly built home. They are amazing! Mark created a great plan that was within our budget and met our needs. The thought and detail that went into the plan, including rerouting our gutters to ensure the water did not undermine the new patio was unexpected! No other contractor that bid included that. As great as the plan was, the installation experience was even better! The professionalism and attention to detail by the whole crew was great. They were so careful their machinery used to move rock and dirt did not damage our existing sod at all. Our neighbors commented on how careful the crew was, especially in between our homes that are so close together. Bottom line, I would not hesitate to hire Carrington again for any landscaping design and build. You wont regret it!!!

We hired Carrington right after we built our house to help establish our new yard. We had dirt and seed for the most part with we first met with Scott Hoebel and discussed a lawn care plan. We proceeded with their recommendations and 5 years later we have a beautiful, thick, carpet type lawn. Their staff are extremely professional, through, and courteous. The mowing, fertilizing, and maintenances crews do a great job with the mowing pattern, notifying us of visits and cleaning up. I have worked with many lawn care services over the 30+ years I have lived here. Most start out stellar, and then it s a grab bag of problems. So, I contacted Carrington and hired them to do my lawn care and also address a specific area of concern. Wish I would have found them sooner ! They not only addressed what I identified, my lawn has never looked better. They knew I had dogs so working with them, my youngest pup s skin issues improved. Carrington just redid our existing front flowerbed and added beds on both sides of our home. It was an excellent experience, start to finish. The end result was exactly the look we were hoping for, in fact it exceeded our expectations. The installation crew, led by Brian, made sure that everything they installed was aesthetically perfect. Excellent attention to detail. Everyone we worked with from the initial telephone contact to the crew who actually did the work were knowledgeable and professional. They kept us informed every step of the way, returned emails and telephone calls promptly and addressed every concern. The cost was a little more than we initially expected, but in the end, they were worth every penny. We are currently working with them to do our backyard next spring!

We had a very large Ash that has been dying for years. Lance and his arbor crew were most excellent. Timely, honest pricing (below other quotes), responsive. Very pro work and seemed to be really safe. Great advice for the other trees on our property. Ground out stump and came back a week later reseeded and leveled area around tree. Can not say enough about this company and the work they do.

Carrington Lawn and Landscape did a fantastic job remodeling our patio. Im a very particular and detailed person who has done all my own landscaping in the past. The patio remodel I had in mind was too big for me. I needed to find a landscaper that would work with me and come through with a beautiful AND structurally sound product. From the beginning stages of design to the end product, Carrington was prompt, conscientious and courteous. The workers were polite, on time, kept a tidy work space, and most importantly were real craftsmen. Phil and Flint were wonderful and patient with changes in our design as the project evolved. The finished product is beautiful, incorporating seating walls, an upper and lower patio, and a river bed with a water feature. We couldnt be happier and would enthusiastically recommend Carrington to our friends and neighbors. (Pictures to come this Spring/Summer when the plants are green)

My experience with Carrington Lawn & Landscape involved a large paver patio/landscape project in an urban setting on the near east side of Madison. I could not have been happier. This was a challenging project in regards to logistics, parking, and working within a smaller space. The entire crew from the design phase to the implementation phase was seamless. Mark and Flint were awesome to work with and kept me informed on project status, kept the work site tidy, and completely understood my vision. I am so happy with the final result and would highly recommend this company.

Weve used Carrington for two landscape projects over the past year and a half. From the initial property visit and assessment through completion they have been knowledgeable, accurate and honest. We love how everything turned out. We were pleased to find out that they use a certified arborist for work involving trees and large shrubs. Because of that, our trees and foundational plantings look naturally beautiful and healthy, not hacked at or flat. Additionally, unbeknownst to us, we had a tree near our house that was cracking. If it had not been pointed out to us by Lance, who knows what could have happened. We are very thankful for that extra care and will definitely continue to use Carrington in the future.

Carrington did a large landscaping project at our house, including putting in a new patio and re-doing all of our beds. They were fantastic to work with from start to finish. Mark did a great job on the design, and was extremely flexible and easy to work with. Brian and his team were fantastic doing the work. The property was well cleaned up every night. I loved the customer service that everyone at Carrington showed. We had a couple of changes to the project timeline due to weather. Mark and Brian were proactive in letting us know what was going on, where they would be, and what work was planned each day. I couldnt recommend Carrington more.

I am only familiar with the landscape branch of Carrington Lawn and Landscape. They have built 2 limestone retaining walls for me in the last 5 years. Phil does a great job of evaluating the scene and listening to the customers needs, then quickly providing an estimate within a week. One of their landscape foremans, Flint, has been the master artist on the end of the forklift setting bulders to create beautiful walls that have transformed my outdoor living spaces. Phil and Flints experience and expertise, have professionlly addressed the issues of holding back hillsides and addressing water flow and erosion in my yard. AND, theyve cleaned everything up when the work is done, planted the grass seed, and all I do is turn on the sprinkler! :) I highly recommend their kind, professional attention to landscape needs at a very affordable price.

Our project involved A paved patio, with wall, attached to walkway with some landscaping and lightening. It looks great! Carrington was great to work with from revising plans as we changed what we wanted, bringing multiple samples out and meeting me to look through various options to make sure it was excatly what we wanted. The install crew was equally as professional and the job was done on the timelines estimated. These projects are not cheap so if you re going to spend the money, do it with a company that is professional and will make sure you re pleased!!

We are uber happy with our new patio! From the start of the design until the last day they listened to what we wanted and answered our stupid questions. Carrington is a phenomenal company. They have done my lawn and landscape work for many years. My yard always looks amazing. They are prompt, knowledgeable, and always extremely professional. After a few large snowfalls, they have even worked my driveway into their schedule last minute to plow me out. The owner, Sean, goes above and beyond to take extremely good care of their clients, and they also have a certified arborist on staff that has brought a few trees in my yard to my attention that need some work done. I get numerous compliments every year on my yard and will never use another lawn and landscape company. Cant say enough good things!!

We had the entire front yard landscaping (ugly, overgrown bushes) removed and replaced with perennials. Very professional from start to finish. Their excellent landscape architect designed an attractive, low-maintenance plan for us. The crew that did the work were quick and pleasant to work with. They took great pains to protect the grass while they used heavy equipment to pull out the bushes. I would use them again in a heart beat!
