Had Alonso come do a small to potentially large landscaping assessment for my yard. Was told I’d hear back with detailed blueprints within a short amount of time. After many follow-ups by myself, here we are nearly three months later with nothing from them….not even a replied email they won’t do my project. Total waste of my time.
We hired Alonso Landscaping to fix an erosion problem by our front steps. The owner arrived on time for the estimate, which he sent us the same day. After we accepted the estimate, we requested a slight change, which was readily accommodated. The project was completed in a timely manner and the laborers were very polite, hard working, with excellent attention to detail. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and would use this company again.
Ramon Alonso and his team are incredible! He designed the landscaping plan for our new house and his team planted everything this week. They did an amazing job and even added a magnolia tree for us that I had requested literally the day before. Above and beyond anything I had expected. Implementation was very efficient as well.

Totally recommend Alonso Landscape Service. They laid pavers for a new path, graded the ground around our home & put gravel down in our backyard. We were very impressed by their attention to detail, work ethic and professionalism.
We had Alanso Landscaping cut down two very large ash trees in our backyard. We had quotes from 10+ companies, and Alanso beat them all with a very impressive quote. From the initial quote to the day the project happened, they were very prompt in keeping us informed on the project dates. Due to the winter weather, we had to postpone the project twice, but they were prompt to let us know and quickly reschedule. On the day of the project they arrived with their crew they were very professional, they placed boards down to protect the yard & cleaned up the yard well. Our neighbors have a fence and they were extremely careful with the branches that were leaning over it & their property. Overall I’m so impressed with the quality of their work and will definitely keep them in mind for any future landscaping work. I would hire them in an instant again!
I used Alonso Landscape Service for a second time and was just as impressed and pleased as I was the first time I had them help me with a yard project (tree removal). This time they removed two nuisance bushes and trimmed the hedges around the house. They are prompt, they are immaculately tidy and very professional. I highly recommend them. They offer a variety of services including driveway, patio and sidewalk builds in addition to landscaping related services.

The manager and his assistant, Ramon and Gisell, were very responsive and easy to work with in setting my project up. When a proposed deck necessitated a change in the scope Ramon was to visit the site and make adjustments to the plan. My biggest compliment goes to Jesse and his crew. They took a somewhat vague idea and made it a reality. It required some additional retaining walls and a lot of gravel to create a base. We love the patio they built. Just as important, they were very courteous and considerate, making sure the site was clean at the end of the day. Highly recommended.

I had some sinking pavers with weeds growing throughout. Ramon quickly came out to provide an estimate and when I was ready to do the work, he and the crew came out almost the next day, on a Saturday! I was REALLY impressed with their work. They did an awesome job leveling the pavers and re-polying between them all. There were a few spots that didnt get filled completely but they came back to fix it and installed paver edging for me at the same time. My patio has been greatly enhanced and this is definitely my go-to company for any future work.
We had a sidewalk replaced by this company in May of 2023, its now January. The sidewalk is great. They were easy to communicate with. Got a reasonable quote quickly. The work was completed with great attention to detail. We highly recommend them.

Had sent requests for quotes to a number of landscaping firms in Sun Prairie, and not a single one even responded with a call or email. I was given Alonso Landscapings name via Angies List, and thank goodness for that! Ramon was very responsive and visited to look at the project, got a quote to me by the following day, and was extremely professional. The project involved doing a large porch area under a deck (with a retaining wall), as well as an area in the front and side areas of the home. Ramons team was professional, polite and did a fantastic job - I will use them for all my future landscaping and outside home needs, and would strongly suggest you contact them if you have a landscape design or build project...you will definitely be glad you did!

We hired them to trim trees and do fall cleanup and they blew expectations out of the water. They worked diligently and took their time to fully complete the job. It was worth every penny and would hire them again in a heartbeat.
