They were loaded to the drain field. 18 thousand dollars paid to then fix what came after With these rains and my enormous drainage problem. I dont even know how to fix it. At the beginning I was very happy with this company but unfortunately after 2 years of having this artificial grass in my patio the surface is all uneven and ungluing. I was told that they are not responsible and if I want to fix they will send me a new invoice. Do you research before you hired this company. They do big jobs so I guess they don t take pride in smaller jobs like my. / In respond to your message bellow, I said to you yesterday when you mention about the burns that could have happened when they cut the hedges I did not think of that and told you that that can be a possibility, I did not fight you on that! But come on after two years for the surface to be so unlevel with pockets and ungluing is ridiculous. Even your own guys that came yesterday where surprised of how un level was with pocket holes. Guarantee or no guarantee. To everyone out that hired them make sure you check before your guaranteed expired. To check you turf to be level and not ungluing. Discounted or discounted price. It s about doing a good job that will last at least more than 2 years. The job in my house wasn t a big job anyways. You can say and respond all you want. Lesson learned.

Its hard to find good help in Miami and I was pleasantly surprised with this group. I actually chose them not because they had perfect ratings but because I could tell that they legitimately addressed every concern in every subpar rating. Seems to be a great company, however I didnt proceed with moving forward due to one of the owners named Carmen Kidder who got very upset that I only wanted to seek information regarding the turfs stability and longevity. Once she found out that I was inquiring about this with others she became aggressive in tone and not as friendly from when I first met her. This behavior ultimately left me with choosing another company.

Carlos and Alex were extremely professional and fair in their pricing. Installed an awesome putting green for us in less than a day! Update, they finished the remainder of our yard and it looks great. Thank you Kirk and Alex.

Best artificial grass company hands down! They beat 4 other companies quotes and installed quality turf with the best employees who knew what they were doing. Every person I spoke to was professional and easy to communicate with.

I hired these guys to fix a turf job another company did. When the sales man Alex came through he made all sorts of promises and said fixing the issues at hand EX:weed barrier, elevation and draining issues will be a piece of cake and will take no more then 1 day to complete, Typical salesman will say anything to get money out of your pockets. My backyard now has extreme flooding issues due to the PVC pipe angled UP instead of Down so all the water is coming back up instead of leaving the backyard. Of course at this point they are paid in full so talking to them at this point is like talking to a wall. I explain to Alex everything he acted like a total Toddler and said the party has ended there is no warranty tough luck, your on your own. I called the owner Fermin complained about Alex, Fermin was a gentleman he send over Kirk another gentleman to deal with but there not installers. They did send there installers to try & fix the drain issue The problem is there installers arent experienced to install drains. they all said if our installer cant fix it, it is what it is we are not coming back. I have never dealt with a company where they take on a job and when things arent put together properly and you call them out on it they freak out and bail on you. I looked at there IG they have a whole marketing post about flood in Florida yet they couldnt even fix my issue. If I can reverse time I would have never hired them. If you do hire them after reading this GOOD LUCK to you pray to G-D and steer clear of there TODDLER salesman who will 100% bail on you if you call him out on bad work.

Monster grass is so good at what they do, that I literally re-hired them a year later to add MORE turf to my property. The are very fair with pricing (I had another company quote me $2K more!!) and really do beautiful work. John has been my salesman since day 1 and he is extremely responsive and helpful. I will be honest in posting my only concern: I felt a little misled on the completion timeframe of my job. (It simply started later than expected, but Jesabel was responsive and honest with me about my turf order). These guys are fraudsters. Stay away. They sub contract out the work. No experience in concrete driveways. They lay turf. Poured defective concrete and they wont fix it a year later. They stall and delay and say they fix and never do. Do NOT use this company. Gave them a year to fix and nothing. Time to let the public know. They post on IG spending all the $$ and living it up. Fix the issue and ill take this post down. See you in court soon monster.

Had a little mishap with the original turf installed. Turf must ve been defected from the factory. The guys at Monster Grass replaced at zero cost .

We hired Monster grass for the second time but unfortunately after a few months the job deteriorated and when we finally got them to come out to check the job they quoted us on repairs. They informed me that they adjusted there guarantee to make sure they didn t have to fix anything because the area had flooding issues. This was a surprise to me and disappointing.

I installed a section of artificial turf myself on my property and quickly realized I should hire a professional. Monster Grass was fantastic on their communication with me which was important because we live in the lower Keys. They got me my quote quickly and explained the process. They showed up on time and their crew was very professional did an amazing job. We will certainly be using them again!

Right off the bat I want to make it very clear the quality of the grass is not an issue at all. We are very satisfied with the work of the laborers and that is the only reason Im providing positive stars. However, the customer service we received from Monster Grass was absolutely abysmal the minute after they took our 50% deposit. A complete lack of communication from the project managers (Alex and Ben) and in the company entirely. They told us one date and pushed it back once it arrived. It is exceptionally clear the project managers of this company prioritize their larger clients where the work is more expensive. I COMPLETELY understand a company would do so, given that the larger client will provide a larger profit. However, if that is the case then they should have some sort of square footage minimum so that they can provide their best customer service to the large clients they want to deal with. It is wholly unprofessional to disregard and push to the side smaller clients. When we voiced this concern with the management the project manager Ben took it very personally and spoke to us in a way not even our parents would do. Essentially telling us we should deal with rudeness and be grateful they even took our project. One of the main reasons we chose this company was due to the positive reviews we read that explained how hands-on the project managers were and how evident it was they cared for their customers. That was not at all the case for us. We had no intention of holding back money, we agreed to the estimate and were fully prepared to pay the full price and did so despite the utter disrespect we received from Ben. If you arent a dog park or large commercial area, Id say to look elsewhere to receive the kind of treatment they reserve for large clients.

so when we bought our first house, in knew i wanted synthetic turf. so doing a ton of research i found monster grass. this was 10 years ago. fast forward to now, and buying our second home, i knew i wanted to do turf again. who better to call? no one but monster grass. after 10 years i knew they only had gotten better. so i gave them a call. from the start, i knew i made the right choice. jesabel who helped set up the install, and payments, was an absolute please to work with. very friendly, and patient. after the setup of the date, and much anticipation, the crew came. on time, which is a huge deal to me. ben, the foreman of the project, was nothing but nice throughout the entire process. told me exactly what they were gonna do and how they were gonna make it so the sand wouldnt fall out and make the turf loose. well they said 2 days, and 2 days it was, mind you it was over thanksgiving weekend too. not only did monster grass meet my expectaions, they exceded it too. went above and beyond what they needed to do for me. oh yeah, one more thing. was a mixup in communications. i didnt check things and missed the putting green we had discussed. well, that was no problem, ben made a call and made it happen. these guys are excellent. if your gonna do any kind of turf, dont call anyone else except monster grass. you will not be disappointed, i promise.

AMAZING x 1000. Did a full backyard remodel and Fermin and his crew were last ones to come in to button everything up. During the remodel Fermin was personally there to ensure things were done correctly for when it came time for them. Backyard was looking alright when pool was finished but Monster took it to the next level. The reactions range from WOW to This looks like a resort. Appears they are out of business or crippled and almost there. I received an estimate from this firm a few weeks ago. I requested a sample of the turf for permitting immediately after receiving the estimate. They have been unable to provide a sample. I have reached to the salesperson, Fermin and the crew head MULTIPLE TIMES. Never a sample....move on as I have. In reading some of these reviews I made a wise choice.

I usually don t write reviews but my experience with this company was so negative that I felt morally obligated to write what we ve been through so others are made aware. Horrible and highly unreliable service provider. Contracted them for a job at our home backyard and was highly disappointed. A 4-5 day job dragged for over two months and even then it was never completed. They would show up every 3-4 days for a couple of hours at best and then walk away leaving us with our entire backyard messed up in the middle of install process. Despite them knowing better, owners (Jessabelle and Fermin) kept promising their team will show up the next morning and will stay onsite till the job is completely finished but would never show up. At one point they stopped answering their phones and all their office would tell us is that theyll pass on the messages. About a month and a half into it we suffered a flood in our area out of which we fully recovered while the grass install outside was still not complete due to this companys incompetence. At the end and as a compensation they offered us a credit thinking it will justify their poor behavior and make the entire experience we ve been through any better. Needless to say no such credit was ever issued. We ended up hiring a different company to finish the job and a great job they did in only 2 (!) days, just how real professionals would do. The new contractor even pointed out numerous issues with Monster Grasss original install such as not properly putting cement borders around our wood fence so all the sand drifted away underneath, nails sticking out and other significant flaws all which were taken care of by the new contractor in a perfect manner.If you care about your money and time you re better off staying away from this company. Monster grass- SHAME ON YOU!!!

I had an appointment on February 9th, 2018 between 12-1pm with MonsterGrass. A gentleman made it on time and was polite as can be. He took down my email and did some measurements and told me hed send an email with quotes for me and then left. It has now been four days and I have yet to receive an email or phone call regarding any quotes. Kind of unprofessional and discourteous.

Monster Grass has performed extensive services for me including concrete pad framing and pouring, turf installation around my pool, an 8 foot high ivy privacy wall and a putting green. All done timely and professionally. In addition, I had a problem with a hole on my putting green (not their fault) and they came out and fixed it pronto. Dealing with Fermin and Jesabel has been a pleasure. In addition, Fermin introduced me to Coco Bay Pools who have exceeded my expectations on pool service. Overall a great business relationship, which sadly is rare now a days.

All good things to say, really. Monster was very competitive on price which is very hard to find in this line of work. They finished the job when they said they would and delivered on the work product.

The whole process was easy and less stressful than i anticipated. Johnny came out for an estimate, after few product discussions we came to terms on selection and price. A week later I had the turf delivered to my house and a couple of days later Installation was complete. I would highly recommend Monster Grass.

Worst company Ive ever dealt with. First they never sent me the estimate. Then after dealing with the owner, I agreed to give them a second chance and have them back at my house. John who supposedly fixes situations, came to my house and remeasured gave me an estimate by email and even called me to go over it. A few days later I called him up to sign a contract and start the job. He realized he made a mistake and told me they could not do the job for the price on the estimate. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I FOUND A BETTER COMPANY WITH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! My response to Monster Grass You almost sound like you know what you re talking about. You obviously dont remember our situation. After I called and talked to you on the phone and explained my situation, I believe it was your wife who called me back and asked if your company could please come back to my house and make this right. You said you have the right to choose your clients but why did you come back to my house again and give me an estimate? John not only emailed me, he texted me and called me and asked if I had any questions about it. You said I was a problem but your company refused to honor the estimate you gave me therefore you created the problem not I. You talked about me bad mouthing your company but I was just stating the facts of our situation. You are the one who called me at 6:52 in the morning telling me with an aggressive voice to remove what I wrote and then slandering me with words. Ten minutes later you text me and talk about my character. You then bring up what I do for a living which has nothing to do with this situation. It seems like you and your company are the ones with a character problem. Believe me when I say this that I am not hurt and Im way passed this. I am simply stating the facts so everyone else can have an idea of what Monster Grass has to offer. Remember, if you would have honored the estimate or been polite about the situation, we would not be discussing this.

Edwin and the entire team at Monster Grass are the best in the business. A couple of months ago when I was contemplating installing artificial turf around our new pool and driveway I spotted a Monster Grass truck nearby and snapped a photo. Fast forward to early May. I called and spoke with Jesabel. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Edwin came by the next day for an in-person estimate. I explained that I was in a bind and was hoping to get this grass installed before my sons holy communion, which was in 2 weeks. Edwin promised to look at his schedule to see if they could make it happen. Happen they did! As the catering truck rolled in. Edwins team rolled out. It was perfection from start to finish. Their work is second to none, but finding folks who keep their word is almost impossible these days. We took a chance on Monster Grass and couldnt be happier! Came in and evaluated the entire back area that I wanted as a putting area. They then made it into a Paradise as I have three holes, beautiful grass and a very classy look. I checked several companies before selecting Monster Grass. The area is just under 300 square feet and will provide a clean play area for our two dogs. They treated me like we were doing a 3000 square foot area. I was kept in the loop from start to finish. Our doggies are very happy. Highly recommend.

Original review, since then deleted: Though the main product (driveway) came out great, I had a really bad experience with the actual job regarding communication with the person who sold me the product who I only saw when they were initially quoting me and assistance with the final product weeks after when it just did not look right. Had I had a better communication regarding suggestions from the beginning on what to do to have the job look right, I probably would have said yes to all from the very beginning and avoided this situation (front looks undone as it was not part of the initial proposal). At the time the project was underway we recommended them to all my neighbors and then a few weeks later when it just did not look right/complete, I had to end up speaking to other companies for quotes on fixing the area that looked undone. They suggested I speak with the company who did my work first to see what my options were with them and though Monster Grass did not necessarily ignore my request, it was extremely clear they simply did not want to work on my project any longer. Whether it was because I was asking too much or simply because they were already paid for the initial project, I just wish they would have taken more time to make sure their customer was 100% satisfied. Instead, they suggested I add another $2k of work which was never discussed or suggested as an option initially and as we are not construction or driveway experts we did not ask. Just sad that one would recommend a company, feel so proud of putting in money to make their home look better and have to go with another company to complete the job in the end.TO BE CLEAR, I SUGGESTED THE PERMIT ALWAYS WITH NO INTENTIONS OF EVER DOING ANYTHING ILLEGAL TO MY HOME OR PIGGY BACKING OFF ANY OTHER PERMITS. Response from the owner after review sent to myself and his staff in an email: Thank you for the 1 star review. We will use your feed back to improve going forward... please make sure your new company pulls a permit for your approach, we will be reporting to the city the areas we worked on, you need a separate permit for your approach and your sidewalk and dont carry over under our permit. Its imperative we are clear on that... - Team, as we discussed no more driveways for anything or anyone under $7,500. We try to help people but ultimately as you can see its not worth it.
