Do not book with these people they have fake reviews I literally have a video of their workers coming on my property and doing exactly nothing. Cuts my grass with a weed whacker and she. I add brush did not cut. Fake reviews on real site
**Google Review for LawnStarter Lawn Care Service** ⭐☆☆☆☆ I had a very disappointing experience with LawnStarter Lawn Care Service. The landscaper assigned to my property, Gabsbylic, charged me for cutting my grass even though my property was bare and in the process of having new grass installed. There was no grass to cut, yet I was billed for the service. When I confronted Gabsbylic about the charge, he did not correct the mistake or offer any resolution. Interestingly, when I tried to locate him for further discussion, he appeared to be a small-time landscaper making fraudulent claims about performing services he didn't actually complete. This kind of dishonesty is unacceptable and has completely eroded my trust in LawnStarter. I strongly advise potential customers to be cautious when dealing with this company, as my experience has shown a clear lack of integrity and accountability. Stay away from this dishonest person.
The person that arrived to my house very was unprofessional abd his presentation was sketchy. I was charged $102 for my lawn to be mowed. Customer service was not knowledgeable and did not offer any resolution. Matters will be handled through my financial institution.
I love my crew. They are actually my 2nd crew because I wasn’t impressed with the first one. They seamlessly switched crews without hassle. I am also able to skip mowings, if need be, and it’s all easily done through their app, which I was impressed with. Great experience and rates done by exact measurements, you can’t even get ripped off. Definitely would recommend.
They do a remarkable job! 👏 I have used someone on a regular basis yet they were not reliable. This company has been and I was quite surprised. Didn't expect it to go so smoothly. I now trust them and no need to have to go supervise! They have awesome communication and seem to really care about your needs and wants. I highly recommend them. I've been using the LawnStarter Lawn Care App for about a month now and it has been super convenient and easy. You can pay through the app, you can reschedule or skip weeks, you can request quotes on other lawn services. I've also priced a few lawn service providers and have found that LawnStarters quotes were much less than others. I was assigned Pedro with Hoot on my first visit and I liked him, he was very knowledgeable about everything lawn and landscaping. He is very friendly, quick and responsive. I've requested to continue with the same crew as it's been a pleasure working with Pedro. I would definitely recommend to try LawnStarter.
The multiple crews assigned were always very inconsistent. My services would be canceled without any input from me. They were often rescheduled. When the lawn was actually serviced the quality was fine. My biggest complaint is that after months of inconsistency and a great deal of patience on my part I contacted customer service. The representative that responded stated that they do not accommodate yards over one acre which makes no sense as my yard had been serviced over many months. At this point my lawn has not been cut in over a month because service was canceled twice and then rescheduled twice. I tried reaching out to the currently assigned crew and did not receive a response to the last two or three messages I sent. I would not recommend Lawnstarter to anyone.
When I began this service it worked well for us. Crew was changed multiple times and the one that has been consistently showing up, is never on time. They always show up days later than scheduled and sometimes not on the rescheduled date. Now they have shown up days early and mowed my lawn twice in one week in December. We obviously don’t need lawn care twice in one week in December. I had a bi weekly service that I changed to monthly. They changed my credit card charge to monthly but not my service. So now my lawn has been mowed three times in December and I have been charged once for bi weekly service and twice for monthly service. I have requested a refund but not certain if that request will be completed. I do not recommend and I cancelled my service.

This is a very convenient app and it s very easy to use.

I used them a few times and scheduling isnt up to the customer. Contractors will skip appointments with no input from the customer, based off of their opinion of the grass needing cut. There is no consistency; I have had 4-5 contractors and need to go through them attempting to upsell additional unnecessary services each time. By far the worst is the customer service. I noted an issue where the crew did a half job and was instantly blamed by Shey C, an employee that somehow has a customer service title. The crew never entered my backyard, yet it was my fault because they assumed they shouldnt without contacting the customer. It seems to be in line with every other complaint about their terrible customer service.
Is the pricing as competitive in comparison to hunting down local services yourself? Probably not. Does my lawn get taken care of magically through my phone? Absolutely.
Ricky always does a professional job and always has the rite equipment and keeps In mind the smallest of details, like cleanliness, and humbleness.
I have used LawnStarter for lawn mowing for 3 properties - two I own in Broward county and one I rent in Pinellas county. My experience has been absolutely stellar. The lawn care specialists are all well experienced and extremely efficient. All lawns have been meticulously managed and are on time, courteous and neat. I had an emergency on one of the property addresses due to a neurotic landlord during rainy season - the grass was a little taller than usual due to nonstop rain - and he was threatening my son with eviction if the grass wasnt immediately cut. I messaged the lawn service through the LawnStarter portal and they were able to get it cut within 2 days, completely resolving the issue and saving my son from needless aggravation. That was a true lifesaver for me, since my son is so far away. Which speaking of that, LawnStarter has been an absolute Godsend for me in helping to handle affairs with my son, a college student, living in a rented home near campus. Most leases require lawn maintenance and he started mowing it on his own. That quickly became a problem when the mower broke. I had been using LawnStarter for my Broward properties and thought, hey, I wonder if I can get service set up for my sons house.... so it is no longer an issue. We set it up - Dwaylon showed up - and now, 3 years later he is still cutting the lawn for us. We are beyond happy with that!!! So would I recommend LawnStarter? YES! Have I been happy with the service I have received? YES! If you dont know who to call and want to have great service, try LawnStarter. Also, as a side note, if the service that is scheduled to cut your lawn does not show up or is not doing a good job, LawnStarters portal gives you the ability to address the issues and even change or cancel the service if it is not working out. You can also change the frequency of the service and order additional services if you want hedges cut, etc. What can I say, the developer of LawnStarter really thought of everything - it is truly an excellent service and I highly recommend it to anyone!

Worst company ever, scammers, never provided one day of service and charged me for 10 months of work, I cancelled the card and service and they kept charging me, losers, robbers and very but very dishonest people! Never do business with them!!! Bad people!
More headache than it s worth. The lawn mowing itself was fine but the cost is not worth the hassle, in my opinion. The one star is directed at LawnStarter and not the landscapers. I tried out the app because I thought it would be a set it and forget thing, just have my lawn cut every 3-4 weeks and be done without worrying about leaving a check or scheduling someone or getting recommendations. I was also looking to get some additional yard work done and never got a quote. Looks like they have high turnaround and my lawn mowing kept getting cancelled. Underwhelming and not as convenient as I thought for the price.

Never arrived when requested, rescheduled several times. I was not impressed.
This company has no knowledge of or skill in the area of customer service. When I first called to ask questions when setting up the account, the information and answers to my questions were unclear and ultimately misleading (dates and contact by the provider). I almost cancelled, but chose to give them a try. The company that came out to service my lawn did a nice job, but when I called Lawnstarter up to ask about additional fees that were never discussed (or legitimate) the representative was rude and condescending. Without even attempting to discuss my concern, he volunteered to close my account. I was never able to activate the $19.99 start up that is advertised and I was charged for 6 plus high grass which was not the case. This company does not care about the customer base. I would never recommend them. I am giving them one star only because I couldn t post this review without it.

I contacted them so they can do some basic cut for 2 homes and they asked for the payment and never got it done or sent me my money back. I have tried calling multiple times and text him and I dont get a response back from him. Very unprofessional and Thieves.

Ordered a quote for brush pick up and scheduled bi-weekly lawn mowing service. Company came out, was accidently sent away by a tenant. I called back for them to come back, and they proceed to tell me theyve done the work already. I came back and checked, nothing was even touched. Now theyre making me open a dispute with them. Kept me on wait for 20 mins to tell me a supervisor will call me back in 24 hrs or so. No integrity or honesty. Pick a smaller service, someone more local that talks to you like a human.

LawnStarter will over charge you stating you had long grass, which must be 6 inches or more. My grass was not 6 inches, but I was charged for it. I would appreciate them letting me know before they start cutting so I decide whether I go forth with service.

Long story short, i needed a lawn service to do my lawn while i was out of town. I wanted to get it done early so i would have a reliable person. They came the first date, no problems, great work. Then right before i leave they canceled more than 3 times. Now they have canceled the 7th time. I am out on vacation and my yard is completely overgrown. My association fines me 200$ for having an unmaintained yard. I do not recommend these people at all. In addition, after the first crew member didnt show up for the first 3 times i put in a request to change my crew member, and they didn t accept my request. Instead, they told me my yard will be cut and to give the guy another chance... well that didn t work out. So i canceled and i m leaving this review because i shouldn t have to chase people to do a job that i paid for. I am Beyond upset because as a company if you know one of your clients or customers is not receiving a job that is is over 4-5 weeks overdue, you would think they would send someone out there ASAP. Thats obviously not what happened. Don t use the service. Period. There is plenty other options. Ps. If you do end up using this lawn service and you get Quintauris Ashmon as your crew member you better change him ASAP! LawnStarter quick to respond on the review, but still no show to do my lawn. They messaged me directly stating the first charge of 46.99$ was for the lawn and the second charge of 45.00$ was for an overgrown fee. Thats funny because i cut my lawn 2 weeks before the service was originally done because i knew about the policy. Never have i ever been charged 2 services in one!!! Beyond funny. But i ask the public, if you are having a service done, and the company you hired charge you an extra 45$ without telling you or providing any reasoning. Wouldn t you be skeptical. Charging your card without permission with no call, email, or text. Who the heck wants to pay twice of what they thought the original service was going to be. So i just told them to not come to my house because she wanted to tell me i signed a contract and thats why i got charged extra, well miss Jessica i also signed on the dotted line to have my lawn cut every 2 weeks and its been more than a month since i had it cut. so i should recieve a compensation the same way u compensated your self out of my visa without permission. Jessica then proceeded to tell me the crew member canceled 8 times and the service was un excusable. This company is definitely fraud to some extent. Don t deal with them unless you want no call no shows and extra hidden charges and fees without a notice. Lastly, the company should change there grass policy to include types of grass. If i have a dallas grass lawn, in 1 weeks it could be over 6 inches. If i have bermuda, i could wait a month and it wouldn t even be 6 inches. Lastly how is the grass measured. Is it cut then measured from the excess, or Is it root to tip. Because my lawn WAS obviously not massively overgrown. But now it IS massively overgrown because your people got personal problems and/or the weather was to inclement to drink there piña coladas. Lol.

From start to finish it was easy. I can use the app to communicate with the lawn crew. Reschedule, which Ive had to do, and just see my service updates on the fly. I love it.
I ve been using LawnStarter for 6 months and I wish I would ve done it sooner. Their prices are reasonable and it s super convenient. Now I don t have to worry about my lawn being cut or remembering to pay my lawn guy. Everything is automatic!

I hired them when I moved into my new house. I thought it was a great deal $20 first visit and then $42 every month right?? No. They send out a guy by himself who didn t have the right tools for the longer grass on this house. Yes it was long because it s been vacant for few months. The guy gets frustrated with the job cause his lawnmower kept shutting off. He leaves after few hours without saying anything and he did not finish the job. I had to rent the equipment and do it myself. On top of that they charged me $63 for long grass fee!!! Which I am ok with AS LONG AS YOU CUT MY GRASS. that wasn t even done. Before the guy left I felt bad and said I m going to him him a nice tip. But he left without saying anything or finishing the job. I thought he was going to come back but never did. So I got upset for getting charged extra $$$$ for the long grass that I had to finish off myself. They wouldn t help me or refund me. I asked for the manager and the lady said he was busy and that he would reach out to me within 72 hours. Poor service. Save your time and money.
After speaking with Joey, a supervisor with LawnStarter about my concerns on past services, he went way above my expectations with sympathy and concerns for me as a customer and person. Joey genuinely made me feel he truly understood and would correct the situation. That meant more than any accommodations of any sort. Thank you Joey
App and concept is great but execution is a nightmare Constant rescheduling (always says due to inclement weather when is not even raining) change of crews constant and the detail and quality of service is poor Concept sounds great and the app works good Is the moment that you get 1 guy with a lawn mower arrives and does quick and zero detailed job and leaves in 15 min
Mr. Ralph company was very professional and was quick but very detailed on completing the services. They really rehab my entire yard within 20mins. I will continue with their services from now on out.
1. Follow up is horrible 2. I am on service date number two and no show suppose to come between Friday and Monday it s Monday 8:51 pm mowing not complete safe to say they will not be complete today.
Your customer service is outstanding I know the four Representatives by name they treated me with respect. And because I have a private business of my own you guys work around my schedule and on top of that youre building my client base hopefully permanently and well fill in more and more jobs together and maybe I wont even have to put ads out on Craigslist or in the newspaper anymore and hopefully this can turn into completely great turnaround for both of us and I am very happy and pleased with everything thats happening I love working for myself and I really appreciate the opportunity and thank you guys and you guys are wonderful got a great business and I cant go on about how happy I am about the productivity that you guys are expanding for me!
This company honestly sucks. They have been giving me the run around for about 3 weeks now with different reasons why they cant mow the lawn. And when it comes to calling customer service they never answer and 4 out of 5 times they dont call back I would never recommend them.

I love this service. We had been looking for a service to mow our empty lot. There are signs posted all over the city and especially in the Lower 9 (where our lot is located). LawnStarter had the best price and contract terms. Sign up was quick and uncomplicated and the app is super easy to use. The work has been spectacular and I can honestly (and humbly) say our lot looks amazing. We are notified when we can expect service and when the service has been completed. I can send messages to the service agent and give any specifics or requests. I highly recommend this company.

Josh does a great job and is very meticulous. LawnStarter emails you in advance when your service is scheduled so you can change it if you need to, and the pricing is extremely reasonable.
