Island's Lawn & Garden in Miami

We have some large Clusia hedges (if you know about this plant you'll know how much work they require to maintain). From the initial call with Sandy, the Islands team were exceptional. Hardworking, thorough, and great attention to detail. Would highly recommend this family business!

Brett and his team were professional and super helpful. They removed the palm trees, stumps and some pines from my home and were quick to respond and come out. Highly recommend!

I first hired Islands to complete a large landscaping cleanup which included cutting a few palm trees down. The landscapers that arrived that day, were not Islands employees but instead sub-contracted through Islands, despite being told the opposite. Immediately, I knew I would be paying a premium. I also hired Islands for lawn maintenance after the job assuming they would live up to their end of the deal. Nonetheless, the job took two days and at the end of the second day, I informed Sandy the owner and her son Brett of several sprinklers that were damaged during the trimming. They never came out to look at it nor fix it, despite being told that Brett "handled" that side of the business directly. My grass started to dry out and patches of brown grass developed into dead patches. I pled with Sandy and Brett to fix the issues over and over again and was constantly told that they would be "coming to check it out" but never actually did. They were quick to collect on their money owed, which I paid despite my displeasure of their work and once the full amount of services rendered was paid, they dropped me as a client. My grass, landscaping and sprinklers were severely damaged and ended up paying another company over $600 for repairs. I would not recommend Islands for any landscaping or maintenance services, unless you like being ripped off. One star is too generous a review. Awful experience.

I am so happy I found Island's Lawn & Garden! I live in Lemon City and had been looking for a landscaping service for some time now with no luck. But when I found Sandy, the owner of Island's Lawn & Garden, I was grateful and excited to be hiring her team. Sandy took the time to speak to me on the phone and understand my needs, she came out in person to give me a quote and explain the options I had. In contrast, to other companies who simply emailed me estimates without knowledge of my yard's needs. Her professionalism is really a breath of fresh air after all the different places I had contacted. My yard needed a lot of work, she came out with her team and got the job done surpassing my expectations. I totally recommend working with Sandy and will continue to refer friends of mines to her. I look forward to having her team continue to maintain my lawn in the future.
