Our experience with Redwood Landscaping was one of the best contractor experiences that we have ever had. Walter helped us design our project and select proper materials. His crew arrived to start the project on the day that Walter told us they would arrive and they completed it sooner than he estimated. The finished product was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We have additional landscaping work coming in the near future and Redwood Landscaping will be the contractor to complete that work for us.

They did a great Job removing 2 fruit trees and getting rid of the weeds. When I 1st had Walter, who came out to give estimate we talked about weed Control. They were supposed to spray for weeds as well. This was 2 weeks ago or so and the weeds are coming back with a vengeance. So will contact another company to have that done. But initial job, minus the weed control, they did a good job.

Much like our home and pool builder, we researched MANY landscaping companies. We choose Walter and his company for 3 reasons. #1 Walter s incredible knowledge and experience in landscaping here in AZ. #2 Redwood landscaping is licensed with the ROC and has no complaints filed against them in the 20 or so years they have been established. #3 The consistent positive reviews we read online! We hired Redwood for landscaping around our house, including drains, turf, rocks, pavers, step pads, a pony wall, and trees/plants. Walter was upfront with his pricing and stayed true to those numbers throughout the entire process! He was unbelievably helpful in my decision making as it came to choosing the trees and plants that would work best with my space. He even talked me out of costly ideas I had for my space since they didn t make sense spatially. His team was incredible!!! Seriously, they were wonderful! Everything was kept to a strict schedule! At the end, we have a beautiful finished front and back yard for the price we expected to pay! I am so truly grateful we found Walter/Redwood landscaping and would use his company again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely terrific experience with Walter and the Redwood team. Had them build a Spa enclosure with bar top, built in Grill, >1200 sq ft of travertine and 600 of artificial turf. The work of their team was meticulous and precise. The real integrity of Walter and Redwood was demonstrated when we had one small (shared) miscommunication. When I brought the issue to their attention, it was remedied instantly. They simply wanted to make it right. How a company responds to an issue is a true indication of their customer commitment - Redwood gets five stars here alone.

I have nothing but great things to say about Walter and his team at Redwood Landscaping. We had a very large project that they took on for us. I had been working on the design of our backyard for months and they brought it to life. There were multiple times that I asked them to make some minor changes for me and every time they did without any push back or frustration. They went above and beyond to make sure that we loved every aspect of the build. They would offer their opinions but never push anything on me. If you have any outdoor work that s needed from pavers, travertine, bbq areas, walls, plants etc I can t suggest enough that you give them a call. I would do 10 starts if I could!

Walter and team at Redwood landscaping just finished our front yard project. They removed our concrete driveway and installed new pavers and updated our landscaping (new plants, rocks, irrigation system) in 3 days. Walter and team are super organized and easy to get a hold of. They show up when they say they are going to and get the job done correctly and efficiently. Our job was scheduled 6 months out due to how crazy and busy things are, but worth the wait. We worked with a different landscaping company last year for our backyard and they could not tell us when they were coming to start and would drop off materials in our front yard to sit there for weeks before needing them or using them. Experienced none of that with Walter and team. Super happy with the work Redwood Landscaping did and my overall experience with this landscaping company.

We were so impressed with Redwood Landscaping. They were the only company to give us a quote on the spot which was impressive. He gave common sense advice (such as the availability of various supplies we would need to accomplish things due to shortages, approximate time frames to attain those supplies along with alternatives that were more readily available and similar in cost and appearance, how to maximize the amount of turf for the amount of money we had available to spend, etc). They were able to start and complete the job ahead of schedule, were reliable and professional, and we were blown away by the end result. We will definitely use them again in the future, we highly recommend!

Sometimes you just know ..... We first met Walter while giving us his estimate. He asked us about our ideas for our back yard, listened intently, and gave suggestions as we went along. We wanted our old flagstone pathway replaced with a herringbone patterned paver pathway from our driveway to our back patio. After calling at least a half dozen landscapers with none of them returning our phone call we contacted Redwood Landscaping and are happy that we did! I am very happy with the work Redwood Landscaping did at my house. The crew always showed up on time and the quality of work their work was great. I highly recommend them!

No call/no show twice in one day for an estimate. When I called to check in a status 30 minutes after the scheduled time, I was told to expect them an hour later. After an hour and a half went by, I called and cancelled the appointment. I was forced to take a day off of work to wait around the house, for a company that cant keep its promises.

Walter and his team did an incredible job for us. We had our entire backyard done. Not only is it beautiful, but the quality is amazing! Walter took the time to hear what we wanted and offered ideas to enhance our ideas. Great company!

Absolutely fantastic! Our yard was a hot mess with weeds and leaves and needed some serious love. Redwood stopped by and mowed, edged, trimmed all our bushes and grabbed just about every weed on the yard. (Front and back) They did a fantastic job and my wife and I are very impressed. I ve sent 2 separate emails trying to get a quote for service, and both emails have not been responded to.

Estimator never showed but when I called they said they had come by but no one was home(my 2 children, myself and my lab would disagree) and he had estimated it out to be 700+ for bush trimming in the front and weed whacking and raking in the back. funny part is I really only needed the front done. See if he had actually showed up I would of got a REAL estimate not a made up one from someone who clearly never came to my home. Not only a no show and lying but 3 other landscapers said 200. SMH

This company is successful cause they are well organized with their scheduling, and an actual team of employees who are on call by phone/ email for any issues or requests. Walter bids things without it seeming like hes trying to take you for a ride. I feel like bids on maintenance and additional work is all priced fair. But why Im going out of my way to leave this comment...(I hope this gets relayed to the maintenance crew), Im super impressed at their work today. Theyve been coming for almost 2 years, and over the weekend I needed a little outdoors therapy so spent time in my 1 acre backyard trimming bigger trees that are typically more money over the general maintenance. I had 3 bigger piles of branches, and bushes I had hacked down. Which would easily fill an entire trailer. Instead of walking past them like that aint my job, the piles were gone after the crew came. Seriously saved me a dreaded trip to the dump. But solidified me as a lifetime customer. All their staff seem like good guys too. Just a big thanks to a well run landscaping company. Their competitors however, lack this type of organization, feeling of honesty, trustworthy staff around your property, and someone always there to answer your call or email. I worked with Redwood two times now and have been very pleased with both projects. The crew is maticulus and produce high quality work, they dont dink around. The owner Walter is great to work with and is always willing to take time to answer your questions. They stick to their timeline, in my case finished earlier than expected. They cleanup each day and Walter will swing by and check on the progress to make sure things are moving along. I highly recommend savings yourself time going out and getting quotes from other landscapers by going with Redwood, you are going to get the same high quality work for a much better price.

Fantastic company. We had our yard out in over a year ago, and everything is still great. Very reasonably priced, especially for ths quality of work done. After getting a quote from another company we decided to go with redwood lanscaping because they were more competitive and quicker to respond. We decided to get a complete makeover for our front yard and they did an amazing job and completed all the work in three days! The communication and service throughout the whole process was outstanding. I highly recommend them!

They only do bi-weekly. $500 or so to clean up the yard. FYI I could clean up my yard in about 2 hours and get paid nothing. Highly overpriced and overconfident.

This company is amazing! We had another company come out and do our front yard first... let me tell you it looked horrible. Walter came out and gave us options to get it fixed. He went ahead and fixed it for us with new materials and new options. We had pavers installed on both sides of our driveway and a walk way leading up to the house. We also had fake grass put in out front. It looks SO much better now that this company did the work and for a great price. I loved that they showed up early and on time! That is a huge thing to us as lots of companies are running late constantly. They finished the job in two days and it really does look amazing. I would highly suggest this company!

I had a pavers installed in front of my rv gate and a large travertine patio in the backyard. These guys took their time to do it right. They were a great crew. I will have more work for them soon. Absolutely no complaints.

Redwood Landscaping just completed our large 7 day backyard landscaping project that Walter, the owner, helped design and implement beautifully. They installed artificial grass, sidewalk pavers, and delivered and dispersed 30 tons of granite. 15 LED spotlights and path lights were installed along with the transformer. Paver borders were installed around the artificial turf along with 3 drip systems. Fruit trees and bushes along with boulders and river rock were planted and/or were dispersed around the backyard. Walter has a vast knowledge of what plants and trees would do best in our east/west desert setting and around our pool. The custom travertine tile work was laid in beautiful patterns and was secured with premium soil, rather than just sand, to promote stability and long time use. Redwood Landscaping also completed our driveway with pavers as well as sidewalks in the back and front yard areas. We were impressed with every step of the landscaping project from the design and layout, the prompt arrival of the landscaping crews on the scheduled dates, large crews who were polite, hard working, and cleaned up all of the premises every day before leaving, the quality of plants and bushes installed, and the attention to detail and pride of workmanship that was evident during the entire project. Walter was always available and accommodating by phone, text, or to meet us personally during the project. The project started and ended on time, despite 2 days of unexpected rainy weather, because Walter brought in extra teams to stay on schedule. We were extremely impressed with the final outcome of our outdoor backyard and front yard and would recommend Redwood Landscaping Services with the highest 5 star review. We had pavers done for a patio and walkway, artificial turf, built in BBQ with out door kitchen and other landscaping needs. Customer service, If you want your home to look the same as when they first got to your home this is the company to hire. The four men I had at my home treated my home as if it was their own. The pavers they placed around my pool and in front of my grill were outstanding. When they were completed the inside of the pool was just the same clear water. They made aware of the work they were doing and asked specifics on placement of pavers. Now remember you have to do a lot of cutting and the dust was non existence, they just took great care. Need someone to do some work for you Redwood Landscaping is the place to go.

The card they left on my door said, We will show up! But they did not show up.

I am extremely happy with my new backyard! I searched around for a reasonable landscaping company who knew what they were doing and I received 2 other quotes besides Redwoods quote. One of the quotes I received was 3 times the amount of Redwoods quote and it required 2 days worth of work. Walter estimated the job to take them one day and they ended up getting it done in 4 hours!! The crew arrived at my house on time, with actually a few minutes to spare. Redwoods crew was very polite and had me review the completed backyard, to make sure I was satisfied, before they left. Since moving into our home we have been wanting to change the front landscaping from gravel and desert to a lawn and curbing. Recently we were able to proceed. After several estimates from different companies we decided that Redwood Landscaping best understood our vision and was the most competitively priced. Walter paid very close attention to what we wanted and was excellent in making helpful suggestions. He, and his crew, were very professional and considerate. They did excellent work in designing and installing the new irrigation system and laying the sod. The impressed us with the curbing that they installed. It looked better than we imagined. They were competent and knew exactly what they were doing in all aspects of the work. In addition to the yard looking even better than we had hoped, they were fast working. We had a lot of gravel to move, a lot of irrigation to install, the curbing, and then the sod. We were worried about dragging it out and upsetting the neighbors if the work carried on for several days or more. They got it done extremely fast. As they worked, we were able to communicate things we liked and minor changes we wanted and they were reasonably willing to please us. Additionally, they did some block work for a wall around the pool equipment, and repaired a broken block wall. Again, they did so with skill. Redwood Landscaping does excellent work and very reasonably priced.I would recommend happily recommend them for just about any landscaping needs.

Walter provided regular updates on progress and did a great job of communicating challenges and working through the issues. The project was completed on time and at the price we negotiated. We have used Redwood Landscaping for the past 10 years and they have always showed up every other week plus they always give us a reminder call the night before that they are coming. We would recommend them for monthly maintenance.
