Izzys crew provided lawncare all season and I cant say enough positive things. They do a fantastic job, are considerate with items on the property, and consult at times needed. They even helped fix a few lawn signs that had blown over -- not their fault nor their job to fix it, but just being thoughtful! Highly recommend for anyone needing lawncare!

P&L landscaping distributed rocks around my property, the whole border. They did such a wonderful job. We were so pleased with the price and the scheduling and how quickly they worked. I would refer them to anybody they were excellent.

Out of state visitors coming... needed some help cleaning up plantings, edging and mulching. Scott and cleanup team, Derek, Patrick, Chris and Terry worked with us to get our work done in time to enjoy it with the visitors, cleaning, trimming, and edging 100s of feet of gardens. What can I say besides ------> WOW. What would have normally taken us weeks was accomplished in a day (with no damage done). What a well oiled team. They arrived, gathered their equipment and scattered across our property. Each took an area and started working. It was amazing to watch. Each showed concern when blowing the flower beds. They took their time around the plantings and cleaned up all of the debris. Mulch was spread by Scotts mulching team, Shevettes, Tim and Jack. They worked with us to make sure all the desired areas were covered. Care was taken to avoid covering any existing plantings. Shevettes dusted off plants as he blew mulch into the gardens. Tim and Jack raked the lawn to make sure there was no mulch on the grass; they blew the walkways and driveway so that everything was clean and neat. These are very friendly teams. All were very willing to do everything we requested. They were gentle with the plantings so that the plants were not damaged. The gardens are so clean and neat that the plants can now be seen and enjoyed. Our yard looks so neat and clean and our gardens POP. This will definitely be an annual event! We really like this company and haved used for 5 yrs. Basically the same crew has come here which is important for fall/spring cleanup and the dog fenced in areas. They are very hard working and do not waste time. Probalby not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive. Usually 3-4 people work together.

This year s the priming of my irrigation system didn t go according to plan. I placed a call to the office, left a message and received a return call within 2 hours. When I arrived home, the crew was there (within the stated timeframe) and answered my questions without hesitation or frustration on their part. The crew noticed the issue of low water pressure and made suggestions as to possible solutions. I ve used P&L for a few projects since 2007 and find them to be people of their word!

Amazing Customer Service! We hired P&L to complete a yard regrade and irrigation installation. Chris headed off the project and was the most professional person I have worked with on the countless projects we have completed over the last few years. Jeff and his assistant walked us through the complex weather app we had installed for the irrigation and answered all of our questions in an extremely professional fashion. Their customer service is by far the best I have ever experienced. I will continue using them for the foreseeable future. Jeff came out and was incredibly helpful. He helped me turn the water on and set up our irrigation system. I highly recommend P & L and have nothing but good things to say about Jeff and the team.

Katie was nice, price was reasonable. However, after promising to call when when they delivered the driver decided talking to my tenant was good enough. Tenant said to call me, that got ignored. They then proceeded to do 9,000# of gravel onto my septic tank (hence why I told them to call) instead of the giant or circle with a giant orange X in the middle fifteen feet to the right. When I called to speak with someone about this it was just Im sorry with no other resolution. No offer of any assistance other than if the septic tank has problems definitely reach out to us. No follow up calls. I then had to shovel gravel all night to get the weight off my septic tank. Kind of ridiculous. If you dont have a sensitive part of the yard theyd probably be fine. I dont think Id use them again, though.

Chris and his landscaping crew are absolute masters of their craft. I have a rather large lot that required considerable work. It was very important to me that my yard be turned into something special for my family, and Chris and his team did not disappoint. They were always here nice and early and worked their butts off, at one point even working in the middle of a rain storm to get the work done on schedule. Chris seemed to be able read my mind and predict the needs I had envisioned for the yard, but he constantly stayed in communication with me to ensure his thoughts were in line with what I wanted. The final result is breathtaking, and it s clear to me they wouldn t leave until the work had reached their high quality standards. I wish I can give negative 100. The worst landscaping company and people on the face of the earth. The service was so bad that I paid 5k to get out of the contract. Bunch of money hungry people. Stay away.

P&L installed new walkways, granite steps, and hydroseed for us. They completed the work in 4 long days. It looks better than I hoped! Kolton was a joy to work with. He and his crew were polite, responsive, and creative. Eric was quick to respond to questions before the work began. I would (and will) recommend them for landscaping work.

Absolutely terrible! I wish I could give zero stars. They do not show when they say they are going to. Have to chase them down each week to mow our lawn even though they are supposed to come every Friday. Never show even when they say they will. Our landscaping never looked so bad. All set! Don t waste your money.

Great company to work with! We got several quotes to do our front beds that included some replanting, removal and additions and P&L by far was the most fair quote. The team is very professional and did a good job on our beds. We had some issues with some of the plantings not coming up this spring and they came out and took care of us with replacement plants. Will use them for future projects.

Great quality at a great price! Excellent customer service and able to accommodate same day orders.

While we havent worked with P&L as a landscape service, I had occasion to call them regarding a leaking poolside waterfall. Eric came to our house and helped evaluate what the problem might be. He recommended some masonry work be done to seal missing grout between the stones, and then a test to see how well that solution fared. The mason he brought in was absolutely fantastic and worked diligently to fill the gaps. We did a test on half of the waterfall and still lost water from the pool, so the mason came back and did the other side. We couldnt test that half because it was time to close the pool and the water level had to be dropped until spring of 2023. We will test again in the spring. Eric Brand was upfront about pricing. We are going through the repair(s) step by step to eliminate doing too much work too quickly on the waterfall. The last time we had the waterfall repaired, we spent a lot of money for a Hollis landscaper who fibbed (he really hadnt had his crew install a waterfall), he did find a kid to tear out the waterfall, but no one knew how to put it back together again! -- thousands of dollars later. No more work with that landscaper. Eventually we found a real mason who could reassemble it, and for a reasonable price. Erics masons name is Phil and he is a conscientious worker, staying later if the job requires it, and he works straight through while on the job -- no cell phone calls, no time wasted -- and he is very impressive (clean cut, friendly and professional). Eric Brand of P&L, too, is very impressive. He is a focused businessperson who doesnt mess around. He stays on top of a project until its finished, from initial problem evaluation to finish...well, this project isnt quite finished yet because of our pool being closed, but I am confident he will be right back on top of the situation when spring arrives.

This company installed an irrigation system and new lawn for us, and we could not be happier with the results. From the start of the project to the end, as well as in the weeks following, everyone we dealt with was knowledgeable and professional. Our lawn looks wonderful! A special shout out to Jay, who met with me before the project and was available throughout. In addition, Chris and his crew did a fantastic job. And Katie in the office was so kind and helped me several times with the irrigation system app. I would definitely recommend this company and plan to hire them in the spring for another landscaping project.

If you want you vehicle hit with a snowplow and not reported to you then this is your company. They hit my car in a parking lot and the driver of the truck didn t feel comfortable going into a business to find the owner of the vehicle. Turn your license in then if you don t feel comfortable, you flee the scene of a car accident, and not report it to police that s a crime. Oh, and to top it off, when you call them out on it they try to tell you not to report it to the police or to insurance and refuse to give you their insurance information for the report. Also, they want you to bring it to their mechanics to have them fix it so they don t have to go through with insurance claims when it s over $1000 in damage to a vehicle. 1 star is 1 too many.

Very happy with P & L both for snow removal and parking lot maintenance in the winter where I work - as well as the work just completed at my house. I was having a challenging time finding a company - big or small - to come and create some flower beds for me. Scott came out, took a look - listened to what my needs were, made great suggestions and everything turned out great. The communication for the timeline and when the workers were going to come was phenomenal. I was kept informed at each step of the process. What an amazing company and even better experience! From the initial call into their office to scheduling our estimate we found the staff to be friendly and helpful with finding a time that worked for us to meet. When we met with the owner Eric, he listen to what we were looking to have done. Eric build confidence in us by listening to our wants / needs and sharing ideas on what he felt we were looking to do which ended up being complete makeover of our yard! He sent us a detailed estimate and even went back and forth with us to insure he didn t miss anything. This was such an important detail because it showed my wife and I that he cared about meeting and exceeding our expectations. True salesmanship! The first day of our project his foreman Kolten and his crew set the tone of the project and kept us updated every day on what they d be doing which was awesome! The entire crew was upbeat, enjoyable to be around and showed great camaraderie! P&L did a super job on my front yard. We had a 7-trunk maple taken down and the yard was a total war-zone! They came in and in 1 day removed the remainder of the tree and its roots which pretty much covered the entire space. Smoothed out the grade and hydroseeded, all thats left to do is wait for the grass to appear.

My backyard was rejuvenated! Previous owners of my home put in a gravel path. Nothing was put down to help keep grass from growing underneath. I was even told different types of rocks were used, and I was they were rocks snakes liked to hibernate under. The company came in it did above what I imagined! I will be using them again.

Wish I didn t have to put a star. Looking to do spring clean up and called this company they come out to price the job. Well the owner said a price and never knocked on the door and passed both of our cars in the driveway to hang up his quote. And he told us yes I looked at the whole back yard. Well we called and said to do the job. Well low and behold they get here to do the job and bring three guys three takes one blower and three barrels. Well the owner comes and says oh wait I didn t see the back. And wanted to charge more. After saying he looked at the whole job I had the money in hand but so far watching the circus in my yard and the owner obviously not a good owner, I just said you know what just finish the one side that you obviously only looked at and because you didn t look at the back and go about your way. Well they packed up collected money and never even finished the one side that was quoted . And I got on the phone asked the owner to come here that day to look that it wasn t finished and he said he would. Well can you believe he never showed up. Today days later contact to see what he never came back to look he said he does not work for free. Well you got paid for the work you did but didn t finish it. If you are thinking of using them RUN. Don t do it.

Small business and very personable

I had P & L remove all the plants and shrubbery in my front yard. They did a fantastic job. It is pristine, and I will definitely use them again when deciding what I want to replace what was removed!

P & L recently completed project at our home to increase the drip line and replace stone. They did an excellent job and Scott was in touch with me every step of the way if there were any issues. An added bonus was they were able to start and complete the job in a reasonable amount of time which I have found has not always been the case with landscaping companies in the area.

P&L Landscaping has performed several different jobs for me over the past year. Each one has been completed with quality, affordability, and always on time! Scott L listens to the customers needs and ensures the job is done to the requirements. Most recently, the shrub trimming, shrub replacement, bed weeding, and first couple of regular lawn mowings exceeded my critical expectations! Way to go, Scott!

This company has been taking care of my yard for years, and does a superb job for the rate! Their recent schedule and crew change-ups provided me A1, top notch service this past week -- they are always polite, professional, but are now able to maneuver their jobs to a more personalized service with attention to detail rather than over-shooting the schedule to meet demand based on a time clock!! Amanda, the Office Manager, is always courteous and attentive, efficient and expedient in her response to any customer queries and I appreciate her attitude and turn-around time. This company should be proud of their commitment and reputation!!

Great place good service and friendly staff

Awful. We called P & L Landscaping to do a Spring Start up, they were scheduled and first came to our house on Thursday, June 7th. During the visit we found that we needed to replace some sprinkler heads and a leak. The gentleman they sent had an emergency with his son and had to leave (100% understandable!) but we were told that he would be back to complete the work Monday or Tuesday. Monday and Tuesday came and went and no one came back. I called on Wednesday and was told that they were busy and could not come back to complete the work until June 19th. We were frustrated that our job had to wait over 10 days to be completed but we scheduled it and waited. June 19th came and went and no one showed. I called every single day that week and was promised every single day that someone would be out to finish the work. No one came until Monday, June 25th - 18 days after the original service date. I understand that things get busy but no one was proactive about calling us and saying that the work would be delayed, it was always us calling them. When we got the bill it was higher than expected and when we emailed to ask about it no one responded. We are truly disappointed with the poor level of customer service and will not be using P & L Landscaping ever again.

I just hired P&L to do some very intensive pruning at my property. At first I was little skeptical because the price was a bit higher then some other proposals I received. In the past I used other companies that came in less expensive and I thought I was getting a great deal. This past year I had very little blooming on some of my nicest shrubs, come to find out it was due to previous companies using hedge trimmers and rushing the job instead of hand pruning which is what was needed to be done on these particular shrubs. P&L took their time and really did the job right. What was done to my property is the difference between a professional landscaping company and wannabe landscaping company. Not only that, there foreman Derek had a great customer service focus. They nailed it with the finish product and customer service. Im OCD and very particular when it comes to my properties landscape and they knocked it out of the park. My property looks top shelf due to the P&L...

I had these folks install bark mulch on my property since I am having health issues . I asked for red hemlock mulch and what I got was clearly last years bleached out mulch. I will not be using their services again

We recently contracted with P&L to apply mulch to our extensive flower beds. Their friendly, polite, and competent crew arrived when scheduled and applied the mulch by blower. The result is outstanding. There was one minor problem that P&L responded to very promptly the next day to our complete satisfaction. Highly recommended!

Jay came out and was very helpful in planning the overhaul of our new front lawn. My husband really trusted P &L to get the job done right because of how detailed Jay was. We had a few other landscapers come to our house and give us quotes but they never called us back even though we were eager to begin (so glad they didn t, actually!). We weren t disappointed when the work began! Everything was so well planned with the loam and equipment showing up right as scheduled. Shaun and Scott worked so hard shoveling in the heat and making our lawn an even grade. We ve had a few hydroseedings and it looks great! We may need a few more applications of seed in the spring and are confident we will get the same professionalism from this company whether it s a small or a big job. I also heard the owner is very charitable which says ALOT about someone. Definitely the kind of person you want to do business with.

P&L does our landscaping and mowing and is in the process of doing some work to sculpt prepare our back yard for a new swing set. Theyve been great to work with and we highly recommend them!
