Raisanen Landscaping in Merrimack

The Raisanen crew just finished replacing my tired old steps from the street down to my house with new granite steps. Their work looks great. The time they spent making sure each step was perfectly placed and level was impressive to me. They went above and beyond to fix some issues with my pavers and brought in loam to dress up the area and planted grass seed. I wouldn't hesitate to contract with Raisanen again.

While planning a large landscaping project, I went to a landscaping materials company to look at pavers. While I was there they told me I should have Taylor from Raisanen Landscaping take a look at the job. He came out within a couple days. We talked about all the projects I wanted done and the time frame I wanted to have it completed by. Taylor gave me great advice and tips for some aspects of the job that other contractors failed to mention. AND Raisanen Landscaping by far gave me the best pricing AND a promise the job would be completed by the 4th of July. This was hugely important because I was having a 4th of July party and didn't want it to be in a construction mess. Every other contractor couldn't start the job until late July or August. They started the job when they promised they would and it was finished 2 days before the party. Our project included: 1) Install a paver walkway starting from the driveway through the gate of the fence, to wrap around the deck, meeting up with the concrete patio in the backyard. Also install a paver landing in front of the wood shed. (These 2 areas were unable to grow grass and were mud pits in inclement weather.) 2) Remove the plantings in the front garden beds that bordered on each side of the stairs at the front of the house, install concrete edgers, weed fabric, river stone and flowering bushes 3) Remove the plantings along the rock wall along the fence, repair/stabilize the rock wall, install weed fabric and river stone. 4) Install a concrete edger surrounding the Rose of Sharon again with weed fabric and river stone to finish. 5) Install loam to level the ground and sod. Honestly I can't even do it justice explaining all the work that was done. Taylor’s crew were a joy to work with and very professional. They were working in 90+ degree weather without complaint. They were extremely conscientious and precise to make sure the job was done correctly. We had this all done because all the landscaping in our yard was getting impossible to maintain and we were looking to simplify. I absolutely will hire Raisanen Landscaping for our next project. Because of them, sitting outside in our yard is better than going on vacation. It is absolutely stunning.

Taylor and their entire team are amazing. So thankful we learned about them over a year ago, and they've been a go-to landscaper for us since. They've done everything from patio repairs, yard overhaul and rebuild as result of inground pool install, flower and rock beds, seeding and repair, spring clean up, mulching, irrigation repairs, irrigation installation in garden beds and extension to new zones, etc. Every project with them has been a pleasure and great value. Beyond having a friendly team that does great work, they're easy/fast to communicate with, meet schedules, have reasonable pricing, and always clean up their mess. Can't recommend them enough and hope their pricing fairness and investment in great people never change. They're the only landscaping company we'll use moving forward and recommend them to everyone we know that needs work.

Moss had taken over our yard and stump removal had caused pooling areas. Raisanen did a great job removing the lawn there, smoothing and tamping the terrain and hydroseeding. They showed up when promised and worked efficiently. We had a rainstorm the day after the seeding and still no pooling. The new lawn is looking good. Very happy here.

We had Raisanen repair a paver in front of our garage that had sunken tracks from cars driving over it. They removed the old pavers and removed several inches of soil. They then poured a concrete foundation for the new pavers. Next, they laid some pea gravel and put down the new pavers. They were very meticulous about making sure they were level, moving a few pieces of gravel at a time. They finished by filling in the gaps with polymeric sand. We are very satisfied with results.

I've had Dave and his crew do hardscaping twice now. The design was great and matched what I had expected. The work crew were professional, did not interfere with our ability to come and go, and, despite the heat and humidity, kept on task. The outcome is fantastic. I definitely would use them again.
