Trent does a great job it s just to bad that the scheduling staff doesn t listen to the customer. I asked when I hired TruGreen if they could do my yard on Fridays and they ensured me that would be done but after the first time they kept on scheduling my yard for Tuesday even after calling and trying to get my lawn done Fridays. I will never use TruGreen again.

The TruGreen crew came out to service this morning and I had forgotten to disable our sprinklers. Before the end of the day, they stopped back by to see if they could get the job done. I m so glad they did and they were in and out without me having to go and reschedule.

She did a wonderful job of applying the fertilizer front and back. She was courteous and attentive. Thank you.

Im giving 3 stars because I feel like the fertilization portion of their service is great. The weed control part is very subpar. Every time they are out they mention the weeds they see and I should see them die out in the next 21 days, but they never die, they multiply. I just picked about 1/3 of a dumpster of weeds from my backyard which is about 1500sqft. Curiously I dont typically have a ton of weeds in the front yard, makes me wonder if they just dont spray the back... They have been doing my yard for like 2 years so its not a new thing. I generally have to spray or pull my own weeds. The aeration and overseed almost always gets scheduled after the sprinklers are turned off so the overseeding does nothing unless I drag sprinklers around my yard twice a day for 3 weeks. If they had a cheaper plan just for fertilization only that would be awesome, since it seems thats what they are good for.

My yard looks than before they came! Crabgrass/weeds have taken over. I called 2 months ago to discuss, not a word from anyone and haven t seen a service person here either! I paid them in full for year. They say it saves money. I say it s so they can get paid and not give you the service you paid for.

When he got to my house he reiterated that the services he provides are good for people like me who don t have the time or desire to do it myself. He then basically just told me to do it all myself. TERRIBLE is an understatement! Left chemicals all over cement. Left PITS IN THE CEMENT from chemicals- I have photo to prove from the date with the chemicals pits were created. Product did NOT kill one weed or crabgrass. Communication is TERRIBLE. Stay away! They promise to blow cement, they promise to use liquid chemicals- every person just tells you a different story! Chemicals can be on cement if its dry and blown off- but cement was wet and chemicals were left to melt and create pits. Derek is very rude and arrogant- oh his chemicals are physically impossible to do that- fine we will go to court to prove that wrong! A little common sense that the cement holes match all your chemicals- some people need to be able to THINK and be KIND. Communication is key and they do not listen and have attitudes! Thats fine we can take this to the next step of common sense. They promised to blow cement- but NEVER EVER do that! They promise to spray trees/ shrubs- well they did 10 percent of them! Its all a SCAM! Just do what you promise- thats all we are asking and also first do no harm. To be continued..... They could of worked this out honestly and kindly- but with lies and being arrogant- things will and do escalate! Sometimes open honest kind conversation can solve things vs creating such a mess. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! or you will play the price.

I left one star only because I couldnt leave zero stars. I have had a horrible experience with Trugreen. Lots of weeds and a brownish lawn. I complained and they came out and made it green for the first time this year in July. I called and said I had so many weeds and they set an appointment up and never showed. I called again to try and get them out to spray for all the weeds and then just set me up on the next scheduled appointment to spray for weeds. Very disappointed.

Very nice to meet Austin, hope hell come back an be my service tech..repoir is important. Looking forward to having my little patch of green.

I called to schedule truegreen to come and treat my yard for earwigs and other bugs. Then they were to take pictures of our yard to take back to the shop and find a solution to also help are yard grow better. I have multiple cameras around our property and when I got home I reviewed the footage and found that this company did nothing that I contacted them for. All the technician did was spray the perimeter of our home which we did not request them to do because we use a different pest company that takes care of the inside and the perimeter. This company didnt do anything I requested them to do. This company will rip you off stay away.

The worst, I had a green yard. now three times the amount of weeds and half the yard died after 2 treatments ,

They claimed theyre coming out on the first to treat our lawn, we had called because our grass still looks horrible and has weeds even after them applying. They said they dont and wont come out in between treatments, even though their service is guaranteed. Well they NEVER came out on the 1st like they said, maybe they think some of us are dumb. I have cameras to prove they were never here. Why lie to your customers???? You guys are happy to charge but DO NOT take care of your customers. Will be switching to someone else. Also they have NEVER sprayed the side yard we have, even though weve told them about it every call. The customer service representatives are absolutely horrible and tell you to just water it........ Umm WE ARE. If just watering it fixed all the problems, do you think you guys would be in business??????

The service technician James NTumba came out today and I was very disappointed. He showed up in front of my house and sat in his truck for 10 minutes on his phone. When he finally got out to do his job, he only lasted 5 minutes spreading fertilizer before returning to his truck and going on his phone for another 10 minutes before leaving. The worst part is, he spread fertilizer not just on the lawn, but all over our concrete walkways and patio grounds. Fertilizer poured all over our patio furniture, BBQ, and kids play toys. HE DIDNT CLEAN ANY OF IT UP. JUST LEFT IT ALL FOR ME TO CLEAN. I have 2 kids and this is very unexceptable because of the toxic content of the fertilizer. Not to mention eveytime I walked outside, the fertilizer stuck to my shoes and tracked inside the house. I called Trugreen and they told me they would send the technician back out to clean the mess. Nobody ever showed up. This company sucks. Dont waste your money with this company.

Huge disconnect between customer service people and local service people. Customer service (in texas and the carribean) promised same day service (after a series of no shows for aeration) so I took the day of work to keep large dog inside. AGAIN no show. I have lost wages and and customer service promised a refund for prepaid services, but now are saying that is not the case. Do not pre pay for anything with this company. Customer service will say anything to keep you from canceling, but does not keep their agreements.

3 applications and my lawn looks worse. Full of weeds. So disappointed in their service.

Unfortunately trugreen doing such a poor job doing at my moms place. Did not spray weed kill all over like they were supposed to and their chemical sucks. Skip some area and skip some area for mowing lawn. I had to get chemical to spray weed kill all over and it suddenly kills. So I highly recommend to do yourself that knowing it will kill and taken care of than what they do. Trugreen is out.

Zachary V. came out today to help me with my lawn. I moved in recently. The person who lived here before had several dogs and the lawn is in bad shape. I have been laying sod, over seeding and trying to seed and mitigate the patches that were left. He explained exactly what I could do to continue to promote better growth and exactly what he was going to do. I really appreciated his help.

My experience today was great! My technician Kyle went out of his way to make his visit enjoyable. He answered all my questions quickly. He made sure that the treatment was exactly what my lawn needed.

Very informative about what could do and couldn t do as far as Spraying goes that did help us a lot

New customer asked about issues with reviews. Said it would nit happen. But then they took 6 minutes and coated the front yard. And left never even attempted to do the back yard as they were contracted to do. Then you hit the chat up to complain and they ask you issue then ghost you call the number and it goes to voice-mail that they dont respond to. They breach there own contract lie about service. And are deceitful about taking your money. Do not use this crooked company. They lie are deceitful and breach their contracts and do it purposefully. Trying to see if they will refund for future prepaid services I am sure I wont receive. Definitely a law suit in the making. It may cost me more to do that but wont be taken advantage of by a crooked company.

I have been very pleased with my decision to go with TruGreen. I have tried and failed in the past to do it myself. All I did was spend every weekend in the yard pulling weeds, spraying, and trying to get the right fertilizer. The company is diligent, timely, and stands by their word to come back if something needs their attention. People stop on walks all the time to admire the yard and to compliment how nice it looks. I always give TruGreen the credit!

We have been customers of Tru Green for many years and have had great experience with the local branch. The only time I had any issue with an application, the owner came to our home and explained the situation and made it right.

Was a 21-year customer with TruGreen, all the way back to the ChemLawn days. Two main items of concern has left me to this point. The first major one for me is their automated notification system. Other the past three years, I have placed calls at least twice a season stating that I must receive notification at least one day in advance in order for me to have my property unsecured for their visits. This season alone I have had four services; 1 with proper notice, 1 with notice within the hour of their arrival, 1 several hours after they arrived, and 1 with no notice at all. CS staff stated it would be in my best interest to check the website frequently or leave my property unsecured during the summer season. The second issue is just overall health of the lawn. Aeration and overseeding are scheduled after irrigation season, so cannot water in. Lawn has several bald spots and areas of poor coverage. The most consistent note is mow higher. I am not mowing to bare dirt. I have also noticed via CCTV job applications taking less than 5 minutes. Does not appear to be any personal investment in my lawn, versus just another customer.

However, I am on irrigation water and it wont be turned on for another month. Now I am wondering if the liquid fertilizer used was in vain? Please advise.

A TruGreen associate showed up at our house this last Friday to provide a service we did NOT request or approve. They proceeded to trespass on our property and then we were charged for this unauthorized service. My wife has called this scam of a company 3 times now requesting to be removed from their database and cancel whatever plans they have signed us up for without our knowledge. No wonder they have such abysmal ratings online, we never should have trusted this company to begin with. Please save yourself a headache and buy whatever lawn chemicals you need at Home Depot and do it yourself.

Brought a load from Phoenix to them and they made it possible to offload when I needed it done . Very friendly and professional employees. If I needed lawn care, I would call them for sure

I tried them out last year expecting noticeable results. They spread pelletized fertilizer and week killer on my yard once a month for 5 months and grub killer one month. The cost is $60 a month and half my back yard died. Just treat your lawn your self.

Horrible service and communicators! We asked to spray for weed in our pasture. Had it scheduled for Friday. So we locked our animals up. We ended up calling on Friday wondering where there were at then they said we scheduled you for Monday. Theres the first screw up. Then Monday rolls around and they show up finally to fertilizer our lawn. We specifically asked we didnt want our lawn fertilized but we wanted our pasture sprayed for weeds.. So we canceled before they even got started. I am a business owner and wouldnt dream of operating like this. I will never use them again. And no I dont want to reach out to resolve this problem.

Edit: It tool a little persistence and coordination, but today Derek came by to do a complimentary aeration and overseed. I appreciate their follow-up. Last fall someone came by and fertilized my lawn even though Im not a customer! It conflicted with my existing program and was the wrong fertilizer at the wrong time for my lawn. I called and manager GR said he would aerate my lawn this spring to make up for the trouble. Ive emailed and called several times and have not heard back.

We signed up with the in November . We have had nothing but trouble . Our yard is filled with weeds and dandelions after three services . The guy who comes out takes about 5 minutes and did a terrible application . No manager responds as they hide behind some poor guy who is one step above the applicator . And I had them lay down some pre emergents for our rock area in the back . Weeds popped up after one week . They said they could not guarantee it unless we signed up for the year . They were just interested in collecting money up front and then tell you there is nothing they can do . I received a normal refund and will pursue the charge for the pre emergent since I had to apply it again myself two days ago . The worst experience of my life with a service company . You are better off finding a way to do it yourself as you know the work will be done correctly and not a five minute job on 5,000 square feet .

1st application was the weed and feed. Had questions about some dead spots in the yard (figured it was grubs, which I had issues with last year and try killing those bugers myself but the SOBs just would not die) Young kid (I can say that....anyone under the age of 60 is a kid to me) confirmed what I was suspecting...will have TruGreen declare war on them for me. Wont be having anybody putting any weed killer down for the rest of the season....I want to try to grow a Clover lawn......good for the bees.

They lie to you. I was promised that I would have Lisa Lopez by Chris the supervisor since may 2023 saying she will be the only one coming to my house and since they cant Im getting refund one way or another. They say that Lisa has quit and no longer with the company when I last had her in May and she said she has lots of people who request her and that she would be glad to so my house. So far I have been lied to for at least 2 months since we are going into July. This is abousbtly wrong. I would never do business with them. Be warned if you go to the lying company

I just started using true green someone came to my house I let them know I didn t get a notification that they were coming the guy said I should ve I asked what they putting down he said weed and feed and it was granular we have dogs he did a row on one side and then went to the other side noticed we have dogs and left my husband called true green and let them know and come to find out they weren t suppose to put that one down if you have pets just the liquid I ve been waiting since Thursday to hear back and nothing this was supposed to be escalated to the local company and come to find out it was my neighbors house they were suppose to do this is poor service.

I had Tru Green provide lawn care and tree care for my residence last year. Absolutely the worst my lawn has ever looked in 25 years. A typical application would take about six minutes so I question coverage and whether they were putting down anything. I then had them treat a maple tree for iron chlorosis. They promised that the tree would drop its leaves and then come back with new growth. When it failed to respond as predicted, I contacted them and they came out and looked at it. They agreed to provided a free second treatment in Spring 2023 since the first treatment did not help the tree. Now they have denied that service since I no longer am under contract with them. What a bunch of bull over a few dollars worth of chemical and 15 minutes of their time to fulfill what they promised. DO NOT USE THEM. THEY DO NOT KEEP THEIR WORD AND PROVIDE POOR SERVICE.

Still have spiders and ants , grass is not doing well.

Ive used Truegreen for many years but lately its gone downhill. My once gorgeous lawn looks sick and dying. Ive called several times to have them treat the crabgrass, which I never had before, and they either didnt show up or they treated for broadleaf, (which does nothing to rid my yard of crabgrass). I asked them not to treat my backyard lawn since its relatively new sod. They treated it anyway. Not sure if its management, lack of training or technicians just doing routine service and not paying attention to the actual customers needs or lawn needs. Anyway, I canceled my service with them and went elsewhere for lawn care in the hopes of turning my dying yard back to the gorgeous lawn I once had.

Nicholas will keep me as as a Tru Green customer!!! The other service people are barely doing their job. I actually feel like I got a real service to my lawn today!!!

Complementary service was to address a couple issues not completed previously. Service rep very polite and knowledgeable. Hope his 2 recommended next applications can be scheduled by Trugreen as he recommended. Now have 1 area manager name and number that should help coordinate scheduling and what s needed to keep our yard nice and address issues as applicable.

The team that came out to my house was absolutely amazing period extremely Knowle to en. Able to answer my questions without hesitation, as well as concerned enough to give advice on how to better care for my yard.

When I signed up, they said they would kill the crab grass When the technician came out, he said they only treat for that in the spring So I said, cancel the service Next the office said the technician was wrong, and that they would be more than happy to come out and treat for crabgrass So the technician came out and said sir, I told you we don t treat for crabgrass i canceled the service. Then they called me to ask why I canceled and the gentleman was rude to me.

The technicians are very courteous and listen to my concerns or input. The treatments are applied thoroughly. TruGreen seems to care about customer satisfaction. They make the effort to keep customers happy and serve us well.

Mr. Cody rang the door bell as I opened the backgate, he was back there fertilizing in no time thoroughly and diligently, even though I forgot to turn off the sprinklers. My apologies but A+ in my book! Have a nice day and Great Job!!!

I have been a TruGreen customer for 12 years. I have had multiple, multiple problems. One of the worst ones was about 5 years ago a service rep showed up at our home, never checked to see if we were home, sat in his vehicle for 5 minutes, walked up to the door and hung a bill for services rendered. I called and was given an apology and was rescheduled with a service credit. The last two services we received were nothing but problems. The second to last service showed up without a 24 hour notice and told me I would not be able to mow for 7 days so I wanted to reschedule. I never received a call to reschedule. The last problem: Received a text 24 hours in advance notice about an aeration service. I was home all day and the technician told his supervisor we asked to reschedule. I was here all day, nobody showed to perform the service. I called customer service and was speaking to someone from another planet. I asked for a manager and after 5 minutes spoke to another person from another planet. At that time, I was done and fired them. There were other minor issues with them over the last 12 years not worth mentioning and I dont feel like writing a book. So take heed to what I am telling you. Dont waste your time. Try to hire somebody local. At least the cost of the service will probably be less but most likely, better service and better customer service. I wish companies would quit outsourcing customer service to another planet and keep it within our country. Sick of their service.

They stuck a machine in my yard each of the last two years, leaving large ruts. I fought with them about this all of last year and what repairs they made only made things worse.? Contact with them did not end with promised call backs most of the time. I called at least 20 times and still did not get promised results.

100% unhappy - do not use. Its harder to cancel and get a refund than a gym membership. Service is scheduled via robocall with no way to cancel. I have been billed after canceling service and being assured the charges would not appear on my credit card. DO NOT USE. Negative Responsiveness

Never came when they said. Always rescheduled saying no one was home when they never even showed up. Never processed my requests by phone even after calling and speaking with several different people. Only treats crass and will not spray weeds around grass. Very limited on services. Project is mediocre at best. You can buy better products at home and garden stores for a huge fraction of the price that do a lot better. When they do show up its for 5 min and costs 79.00. save money and do it yourself or fine a better company who is willing to go above and beyond.

This company needs to hire drivers that will obey the traffic laws - specifically the ones regarding following too closely. Driving in to work today, one of their drivers followed about 3 inches behind my rear bumper the entire way. Not a good way to advertise your business.

I called in search of someone to do Lawncare for me and the guy was unprofessional, and hung up on me. Would never recommend a company whos like that right off the bat for new customers.

Asked more that 3 three time to only spray for weed. They never sprayed for weeds but for bugs. Ask them to call before coming they never did. Finally a person came out to spary with all of her equiptment broken. Tried to spray the lawn by hand but it is not effective due to the size of lawn. Will not ever use again.

TruGreen serviced us last year. They rushed things and were non responsive when we called to let them know whole areas were missed during servicing.. Do not recommend using them so they are expensive compared to other companies.

They come out for a whole 10 min and sprinkle there product on the lawn and there gone. I have weeds still coming up all over my lawn. Don t pay in full either because they will push your service dates further apart.

I subscribed to True Greens service a couple of months ago. They have come out, but fail to do anything about the weeks. I have already spoken to a supervisor and requested a redo on the service. Today they came back, three days later than promised, but failed to provide the weed service in the lawn. They only fertilized the grass. I am beyond upset since I have already spoken to a supervisor and requested an new service. I called to complain today and was told they can come out on Friday and do another weed control service. I also asked the a supervisor contact me. I was advised it would be 24 to 48 hours before I would get a call back. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen. If they do not get things right by this Friday, I will cancel the service.

Absolutely the worst experience I ve ever had with a service company. I contacted them Approximately a month ago and was told that they could handle spraying all of the weeds in my yard and on the rocks and gravel areas as well as weed and feed for the grass. It took them almost 10 days to even get me on the schedule, then when the technician arrived they did a spraying service and then their notes notated that they could not spray the weeds because it was too hot. And that I needed to call In again to schedule to have the weeds sprayed . I was told that the weeds would need to be sprayed in the morning when it wasn t so hot. I called in to schedule and was told that someone would contact me in a few days, four days later I received an automated message telling me they would be there a few days later. When the second service was done the technician again sprayed the lawn did not spray any of the weeds and when I tried to contact the office, I was told that true green does not spray anywhere that s not in the grass and it is not correct that they could not spray when it was hot. And that only applied to spraying the lawn. So now 30 days later my weeds are still not sprayed which is what I originally contacted them to accomplish so I canceled the service. I recommend that if you re looking for a spraying service you should look for one that answers the phone and has a human that you can communicate with. True green is so automated they ve become impersonal with no attention to detail or customer service .

This company is so bad, it should be reported to the bbb. They dont show up to appointments (missed almost every scheduled onsite), their service is terrible (our lawn is worse now then before we hired them), and they are completely unprofessional. I can honestly say this is the worst experience i have ever had with any company in my life.

This is our 5th summer using true green. We had a beautiful yard, weed free and green. This year the weeds are horrible, they have no local number to call the office in your area- wait times are long and then the call center has zero information about what actually was done on your lawn that day and wont let you talk to the local office. I dont even think they sprayed weeds last time they came, they all looked the same and we have more and more. It looks as bad as when we started service 5 years ago

I have been battling with trugreen for a couple of years over their 100% satisfaction guarantee. I am 100% satisfied that this company was charging me and not treating my yard. my yard looked terrible, dead spots and weeds coming up everywhere. I finally cancelled their services and scheduled Zing out of Middleton to come out and treat my yard. After 1 week, it is 100% improved and most weeds have been choked out by new yard growth, dry and brown spots are almost completely gone, and it looks like i am actually getting what i am paying for.

Horrible is how I would describe their service and my lawn has not looked this bad for years. I call them repeatedly to treat the weeds and all they do is burn up my grass with more fertilizer and dont treat the weeds. Its a nightmare calling them. Do you think they would have so many poor reviews if they were actually addressing their customers problems? A review reply to contact them AGAIN so they can try to up sell and give you something for free is NOT fixing your original problems! Its all lip service. My only hope is they are easy to cancel.

So many of these one star reviews ring true! DO NOT USE! We have a half acre and have used trugreen for a few years. Our lawn looks worse than the neighbors lawn and they have no lawn service! In August their specialist visited for lawn service around 7am. He was on our property less than 10 minutes AND we captured footage with one of our surveillance cameras of him pretending to apply product to our back lawn. He basically made a 5 second S-pattern walk across our back lawn and then was gone. We also have video of our front auto sprinklers running at that time, so we know he did not service the front lawn! A trugreen rep promised to credit the August service when I called to cancel and that was a lie. So frustrating and infuriating! 8/23/2022 evening: Regarding the owners canned response, save it. You are a pawn in a big company thats forgotten how to provide quality value added service.. Find your way back or go out of business...

Trugreen (located in Meridian Idaho) is the most incompetent dishonest organization I have ever dealt with.They are supposed to be fertilizing/ weed feeding my lawn and I swear they are spraying nothing but water. My lawn after 7 treatments looks worse than lawns with no treatment at all. Trying to call customer service is a total nightmare and you get nothing but excuses and useless promises. They have promised multiple times ( 5 since I started counting) to have someone come out to my home and diagnose what the issue is. To date not one has showed up. I received one phone call from some low level manager who still kept making excuses over the phone about why no one has shown up as promised. The others simply didnt show up as promised. No phone calls, no apologies , nothing. They just didnt show up as promised. Take a look at my pictures that NO ONE in this inept organization has seen or asked for even when I have offered them. These dead patches are everywhere and spreading. I intend to post these pictures showing Trugreens incredibly outrageous performance and response on the largest HOA in Idaho which I belong to as well as on the second largest that I also belong to. . And to the manager who claimed I threatened him when I told him I was going to share them on my HOA it is not a threat. Its a promise.

I prepaid for the full year and they didnt come out from June to the end of September. I finally canceled the last 2 treatments. Lawn has weeds and brown spots that I could have taken better care of myself. Will never waste my money on them again!!

What has happened to TruGreen??? They have been the most frustrating, incompetent company I ve ever had the misfortune to deal with. We have been customers since they were called Chemlawn and we were happy with them for years. The last two or three years they have been a total train wreck. I fired them in early August. I received a phone call saying they would be out tomorrow to do their tree service. I had to call and fire them again. Of course they said they had no record of me canceling the service in August. Somewhere there has been a total breakdown within this company, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Do not trust the salesmen. The techs were hard working and prompt. Read ALL fine print. Salesmen will undercut one another so get multiple quotes from several of them. Billing department made many mistakes. Lots of time on phone fixed all but one of them. I would not recommend them.

Not a bad service if you cant/dont want to do it on your own. I took two stars off simply because they do not take NO for an answer. I prepaid for a year in advance and then promptly forgot that after that year was up they would continue coming out and charging my credit card. Once I realized that I cancelled my subscription, explained why, and then kept getting call after call trying to get me to sign back up. I know they are just following a script, but please, when I say no, just accept it and move on. It makes me hesitate to ever use you for any service in the future.

Trugreen lawn care is probably the most frustrating lawn company I have worked with. The lawn care itself was fine, but they were unprofessional and I was unimpressed with their customer interaction skills. My family has four dogs and a dog door, so we need to be able to plan ahead to get them inside before people come to take care of our yard (so my dogs wont get out and so the workers can stay safe). From the beginning, they said it would be no problem to work with us, they would reach out several days before, and again the day-of with timing, so someone could be at the house to keep things under control. Apparently this is too hard because the first time they visited, there was no communication and they just showed up, everything ended up being ok, but it was very frustrating. After getting ahold of Trugreen, they assured us that this would not happen again, but it has happened every other time they have come over since then, so nothing has changed. Several times, no one was home and tje worker took the lock off of my gate to get into the backyard. I am concerned for my dogs safety and angry about how difficult this basic communication has been for the company. I am done and will never be coming back to Trugreen for anything because if they cant handle simply sending a message the day before they come, I dont trust them doing anything.

Tru green did make our grass grow better, but they never got all the weeds to die in our yard even after we called them extra times to come specifically for the weeds. They just used one type of spray and it only killed some of the weeds. They also didnt even spray weeds for the first few months of service we had to specifically ask them to spray weeds once they were out of control. They were always very professional and polite. The only other complaint I had was that they came to overseed our yard after the sprinkler water was turned off so we couldnt give it water to help it grow, so it never grew. Would not use them again unless the service got better at taking care of weeds and timing services better. Paid a lot of money for an ok service.

Used these guys for one year on a deal. Now I cant get rid of them. Ive called several times over the past year to discontinue service. A sign always shows up in my lawn weeks after my call and my credit card gets charged. The amount has doubled the last 2 times. Twice when Ive called to cancel the lady says ok and starts typing when I get hung up on. Called again today to discontinue service so we will see if it sticks this time. I requested to be reimbursed but he declined to do so. Never again with these guys!

Please tell your employees to park in front of the house they are doing work for instead of directly in front of someones front door with their mower running just sitting there. Thanks to your employee in the truck118754 they woke my baby up this morning while sitting in FRONT of my house and not the house they were doing work on and having their mower run for about 10 mins.....also taking our parking spot in front of our house!!! I contact Trugreen because I had a thick lush green lawn last year and previous years and in the Fall of 2020 it suddenly started turning brown and dead. By winter 50% of my lawn was dead. I asked the franchise owner to come take a look, because I was at a loss as to why my lawn died so suddenly. He came and immediately started telling me that it was because of my dogs. They were the sole reason my lawn was half dead, even though I have had the same dogs for years. He began arguing with with, I had pictures of my lawn from the previous summer and he didnt even want look at them, that proved it was lush and green. He was very condescending and pompous. He said he had been doing this for 30 years and acted like how dare I question him, the self imposed expert. He didnt want to listen at all or offer any other explanation. He was a total waste of mine time, this is the reason for the review, so not to waste your time either. Contact another company dont bother with Trugreen Boise.

Horrible communication with co.

Called for a price to fertilize the yard for a year. Paid in full up front. Bait and switch! They get here and tell me they have to charge me an additional $75.00 an application for the seven applications. Gene the manage says, Well this is what Im gonna do. No you honor your contract is what you do. That was too much to expect! Gene said we are cancelling your contract and refunding your money... Didnt know thats how contracts work. Robert the applicator was caught in the middle, nice guy, very polite. Update - TruGreen Corporate contacted me yesterday. They offered to honor the quote, and apologized. Totally different company than what we dealt with locally. We did however decline the service. First its unlikely after this experience we would continue service the following year, we dont want to deal with the local TruGreen, Gene the General Manager has proven he is a liar, and if there was a problem we dont trust he would make things right, lastly we dont want to take advantage, that not what this was about.

This company uses my flowerbeds as a walkway to treat my neighbors property. Then they fertilize and leave it all over my driveway. I have complained 3 times and nothing changes.

Called for a quote. The office was unable to provide a quote. They gave me Marios, number, he is the field man for commercial accounts. I called him left a message. He called me back and took my information. He told me he would get back to me later that day. One week later never heard from Mario. Have gone ahead and applied the weed and feed myself.

Overall, our lawn looks pretty green. I feel that I need to talk with you amy times weekly. I have used your company for years, but the customer service is poor. Every call has one to two to three hour wait time. I consistently present the same problem to different people, so there is no follow through. Finally spoke with a supervisor after a several day delay. Lots of promises but no follow through. I am right now waiting for a call back about an issue about which I have called many, many times. When I spoke with a supervisor, I asked her if I should call another company to the care of my need; she said no more than once. No results, however, up to now. Good luck getting ahold of them. I have sent emails, reviews, called and waited for the auto call back 4 times. One for 2 hours, one for 3 hours, one for 5 hours and NO CALL BACK. Your company is in the tank and I just cancelled all service with you from now on.

After spending 15+ minutes on the phone to get a quote and after he told me the whole program, I ask if he could email it to me to look over He told me he cant email it to me unless I sign up. I told him forget it I would find someone else to do it and hung up. I found it odd that it came out to $1200 seems like everyone is after the stimulus money. Since this the local guy not the call center got ahold of me and has taken care of everything all is good Thank You! Canceled after 3 months when they were unable to make it when the said the would be there because it is to much hassle to put the animals up then after all that they didnt show up. We have billbugs/grubs actively killing our lawn. I tried using a couple of products from the big box stores (a preventer that I put down a couple of months ago and then a killer I put down four weeks ago), but they werent getting the job done, so I decided to call a professional since they have access to stronger chemicals. I called on May 25 and arranged for them to come treat my lawn. They took my credit card information (and promptly charged me for the service) and told me someone would be out within a week. By June 2, they still had not come, so I called to see what was going on. The customer service person told me someone would call the next day. I said no, they had already charged me for a service that they had not performed, it had been 9 days, and my lawn was actively being destroyed by these billbugs--I wanted something better than a phone call the next day! The rep scheduled a best fit appointment for June 4. She told me someone would also call me the next day. Its now June 5. I have not received a call, and no one came to spray my lawn yesterday. Looks like Im going to have to find a different company and Im also going to have to have my credit card company fight them to reverse the charge. We used TruGreen to treat our lawn for weeds about 15 years ago, and they were very reliable. I dont know what has happened to this company, but I will NEVER use them again. Totally unprofessional. Im appalled that they have taken my money and still not performed the service--particularly since I already let them know I was dissatisfied. What company screws up the well make it right appointment?!

We signed up with TruGreen in May. They were Johnny on the spot taking my money coming out and getting that first application down. Havent heard or seen them since. We have been scheduled for service, and then its taken off the schedule. Call center in Florida said there is no local number to call here in the Boise area.

Worst experience I ve ever had with a company. Multiple no call no show appointments. This went on for weeks and eventually we just cancelled service. Every time I would call to rectify I was told someone would call me never happened. I was told multiple times I even had expedited appointments because of the poor service but alas still no communication whatsoever. I havent even been able to get a service call out to our property. They keep telling me its scheduled and then not showing up. Its been over 3 weeks of no shows and the customer service rep have been horrible.

WORST SERVICE EVER. They told me two front and back applications were included in my price. They came and did the front and back. Great. They then missed multiple scheduled services for the second application. I had to call twice to get them to come again. On hold for 25 minutes each time. They came, just did the front and left. I called (on hold for 20 minutes) and they tell me I ve only paid for the front but that they will come back and spray. They come back a week or so later and spray JUST THE FRONT. I call again and they tell me I ve paid for just the front and the last I ll have to pay for the back. After really talking for awhile they say, ok we will have someone call you tomorrow and schedule to come out to spray the back. They NEVER CALLED. I called back today and went back and forth and they told me there is nothing they could do. I d have to pay for another back yard application to get it done. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Worst experience I ve had with a service company.

We paid for 6 lawn care services and only received 3, one of which was in February when there was still snow on the ground. Trugreen did not come out during June or July when our lawn needed it the most. It was impossible to contact customer service to get our issues resolved. We prepaid for our services, which was a huge mistake! It took us 5 phone calls and hours on the phone as well as several live chat sessions to finally get the check refunded to us for the incorrect amount. Terrible company! Do not hire!

After the third time of not completing my free service they insisted I needed and three months of no fertilizer or weed treatments I had enough. I can get better quality and service from the 10 yr old down the street. A free service does not accomplish anything when they continuously cancel on you.

We are nearly at the end of the season. I used them the year before last and they showed up but could not figure out how to auto charge a card on file. I skipped them last year but decided to give another try again. This year based on their inability to show up after many calls to me saying they would be there I am at 3 of 8 services. It is always an automated call. When I try to cancel service it is a 45 minute wait and then I schedule to call me back and no calls come back. I dont allow three strikes with my hard earned money so I will finish the season myself. I would not recommend them or call them again. My yard is not as strong, green, or weed free as when I do it myself. Update, they sent me a response and I emailed like they asked and yet to have a response. I was also called for a scheduled appointment after I canceled my business and they no showed again. Now I am fighting weeds that I could have handled instead of waiting for them to no show 5 or 6 times already. I no longer have the nicest yard in the neighborhood.

Used once for aeration which went great. However, I later setup a weed maintenance package where they just come handle the weeds for me. These guys cancelled on me like 4 times, havent been here in months. I contact customer service, guy tells me he will escalate it to a manger. Later that week, someone does show up, I watch them pull up in the marked van on my doorbell. They dont get out and do anything, but they cancel the visit and then they drive off without performing service. Absolutely mind boggling.

I have had a complaint in for a while now due to my service for weed control was done wrong and the weeds are out of control. For a month now they have canceled my house 3 times even though the app says their 2 streets over. Ive complained 3 times and been told the area manager (boisie id) would contact me and nothing. This reflects poor quality of employees.

We have been customers of TruGreen for several years and have noticed the quality of service declining this past year. We were expecting a lawn service today and our neighbor just brought over the paperwork (tucked in his door) and said they did his lawn instead. In fact, they have noticed a TruGreen lawn sign in their yard a couple of times in the past few months. So now Im wondering how many lawn service calls Ive paid for and not received. They have the right name and address on the paperwork, just showing up at the wrong house. This is unacceptable. When I called, they said they would come out and redo our yard sometime next week. Weve been happy with them in the past, Im just not sure I can trust that Im getting what Im paying for now.

If I could give 0 stars I would do not use this company they do not knock and let you know like they are supposed to. And will let themselves in your yard and then spray your animals I am shocked at the behavior by this company multiple people have reached out to me warning me not to use this company if I care about my animals! The dogs were wet and sticky and the tech was caught in the act I hope this man is arrested because that is attempted murder

we purchased an existing home that was just over 10 years old in 2016. I spent two years trying to get the lawn to come back. Lots of dead spots, thistles, dandelions, and crab grass. I couldnt get my lawn to recover and it was starting to get worse. I called trugreen to have them come out, one summer in, all of my issues are gone. Lawn is lush and green, highly recommend them! Today driving down Victory road between maple grove and Cole, I went to pass one of you trucks. For some reason, he decided to speed up 60+mph and flipped me off, and I just for behind him. I was never in from 6 of him or cut him off. As I followed him to Cole, he continued to seem quite agitated, and flipped me off s couple more times. I have no idea what his problem was, but clearly he forget he was in a company vehicle. I do have pictures of the truck.

I actually hired a different company that was bought by trugreen. After trugreen took over my account they apparently didnt read my original contract because they stopped spraying for weeds and only sprayed their stuff for making grass greener. They did this multiple times even though it was obvious my yard was overrun by weeds and spraying for greener grass was pointless! I paid for the first time they ripped me off but refused to pay for the 2nd worthless spraying since I hired the original company to spray for weeds and they never did. Now even though they never helped my yard at all they have sent my account to collections and it is hurting my credit score. These crooks would have continued spraying my yard even if it were completely dead and would have kept sending me a bill. They dont care about anything but sending you a bill even if they did nothing to help your yard!
