Hired Midway for a 40K total back yard renovation and could not be more frustrated. It was not done in the estimated time frame. Halfway through the project they had to ask for more money, even though we were told payments would broken up between the first initial payment, and the final payment would be when the project was done. Needless to say, we paid the money halfway though. Our tree's are planted crooked, which Cody was shown, and said he would fix, but never did. I pointed this out the day after they were planted. Our fence literally had pickets falling off of it. I had to ask multiple times for them to erase the marker that was on the boards. It finally got done during the winter. I'm talking giant highlighter marker on the fence boards they did not even have the courtesy to try and remove without us pestering them to do it. It was the worst possible wood you could get away with using. When I tried to get them to fix the fence, they told me my warranty was voided because I did not stain it quickly enough. That was never mentioned in the contract. My neighbor had them fix her fence and had the exact same issue. Boards have split in half. When you shake the fence it's like a wave going down it. I showed them pictures of specific garden boxes to build, and was told they could do it. In fact, I was told Wes would custom make them himself. After the boxes were built he admitted that he did not remember what the pictures looked like. They used cheap wood that has already split and bulged. I had to stop them from filling up the garden boxes with left over top soil, because I paid extra for certain soil types. Instead of building the deck first and then rolling in the sod at the end, he built the deck last. Even though we picked out the trex deck material well in advance of him starting the project. We were told it was ordered, but come to find out it was the very last thing he ordered on the project. Total lies with Cody. Codys workers also left with a shovel of mine. He repeatedly told me he would drop it off, but then one day he told me the shovel broke and he would replace it with a new one. He dropped off a mini shovel. I told him that is not the correct shovel. After that he became down right hostile. He told me verbatim, I obviously don't know what my own tools look like. Cody has also called cursing at us telling us how stupid me and my wife are, and that we were out of our mind asking for a 5K refund, which obviously we never got. After that phone call, he came out and addressed the issues, he agreed some of the things were not done the right way, and said he would get it scheduled. We were very happy about this. A couple weeks after that we were told our warranty was voided, because we did not stain the fence in time. I guess that voided all the other issues as well. He did have a worker come out with some left over sod and patch up a couple places in the yard. Granted, the sod did not even over the entire area inside the line Cody painted on the grass. Given all we went through during this project, we took that as a win. On a side note, we had to have the electrical redone for the sprinkler system his team put in. I waited until the end of the season to give them a chance to make things right, it never happened so I am posting this review. I would never, under any circumstance use Midway for a high end project.

I can't speak to their landscaping projects, but their lawn care services were laughable. Not once did they do all the services i requested and approved. Lawn and yard looked absolutely awful the entire time. Had to call and email every week to get them to do basic services. Office staff never had any idea what was going on and couldn't answer any questions. Eventually they emailed and said they couldn't do lawn services anymore, on the day my lawn was due, leaving me in a rush to have my rental's lawn done. Would not recommend this company at all. Seems like a high school ran company.

Hired Midway to complete a $30K + large landscaping project. They were on time and on budget and I'm very pleased with the outcome. Would definitely hire them again!

Cody Laughlin and his crew of 5-6 employees did a great job of completely landscaping the rear and side yards of our new house. If you are looking for one stop shopping , Midway Lawn Care is your answer. Cody handled every aspect of the project. From concrete rock. boulders. Sod, concrete edging, irrigation system and more. Most appreciated was the willingness to listen to our suggestions throughout the entire project. Overall, we found the experience enjoyable, even though much of the work was done during winter months. I would not hesitate to recommend or use Midway for a future project. They are a bunch of great guys.

We first used Midway to move a fence and adding fencing to our existing yard. The entire team at Midway was a pleasure to work with. They were on time, responsive, and gave us an accurate and clear quote on the work to be done. Their quote was competitive to other vendors and to be honest it was the least expensive and most clear about the level of work to be done. I appreciate their honesty in not attempting to upcharge us on extra work and their level of craftsmanship of the fence was superb. We also used them for irrigation and sprinkler repairs. Once again accurate quote and they we very clear and reliable in dealing with them. They gave us several options and price points and were very detailed throughout. we would absolutely use them again for lawn care and fence work. Cody and the entire Midway lawncare team are some of the best in all of Boise!!

Midway was absolutely amazing g with follow through and kept me informed of each step. They provided me with 3 honest options for my front yard overhaul and were completely honest about the pros and cons of each option. They completed the work earlier than expected and finished way ahead of schedule! I will definitely use their services for any project they can tackle and could not be happier with the end result. Invoicing and quotes were fast, safe, secure, and made paying so easy. Cannot recommend them more! Thank you Midway!!

Cody, the owner of Midway came out and quoted me for a hardscape project that include a 17x17 ft concrete pad, gas fire pit, a tree transplant and concrete curbing. His pricing was extremely competitive with other landscapers around the valley but could get the project done before others could even get us on their schedule. He was very transparent with everything and his communication with me was top notch, ensuring I was satisfied during every step of the project. If I had a problem or wanted to add/subtract something he was very accommodating in make my vision come to a finished product. He sat down with us multiple times to discuss fire pit option and looked all over town to find exactly what we wanted. Overall I would highly recommend Midway Lawn Care for any future landscaping projects or lawn service.

Midway did a fantastic job cleaning up and installing sod on my yard!!! I kid you not it was a jungle. It has been massive undertaking due to its size and issues with seed not taking in the past. So I called Midway and they came to my rescue. Very responsive and proactive making sure that I was taken care of. I was originally scheduled for 2 weeks out but they moved me up by 1 week and got me on the schedule quickly. Will be doing their quarterly fertilizer package as well to make sure it's maintained properly. Thanks for giving me the yard of my dreams!!!
