Im a DIY kind of guy and always took care of my own lawn for the first 7 years i owned the house, but I started a new job & had no time to maintain my own lawn so i decided to outsource it.. of course tons of choices in lawn care but Century not only added me beginning of the season the Tech who showed up & cut my lawn Chase was knowledable and cared as much about my lawn as I did. I got my neighbor to join the program so they could mow our lawns side by side and it was amazing to see the quality of cut we got.. the lawn was thick rich & healthy & I didnt have to worry about filling 3/4 garbage bags of clippings .. Definantly sticking with them.. They do top notch work.

So very happy with Century Lawn Care s services and attention to detail. When it comes to lawn care services in the Boise, Meridian, Eagle and Star area there is simple no one better to have. Steve and his team are courtesy, quick to respond and so very kind! It s a relief to know that with my family s super busy schedule that the worry of lawn maintenance is taken off the table.

I shouldve posted this review a lot sooner, but finally getting around to it after a full season of caring for our lawn ourselves now. I am hoping to save others the trouble and disappointment I dealt with. Century Lawn was initially great and seemed very friendly, but there were continual issues with damaging our irrigation AND home (siding, more on that below) and a complete lack of respect for my time and patience. We had the somewhat typical sprinkler heads chewed up or busted a couple of times, but they were able to replace them and get things working. It kept happening and Id say over the course of our service we had about 6 or 7 heads replaced. The last few they just left the old heads laying about in our yard and didnt bother to clean up. That was minor compared to the damaging of our siding. They took the larger riding mowers through our side yard and scraped the siding of our house! When we brought it to their attention we were told it would be fixed/replaced, and that they wouldnt take the riding mower back there anymore. Lo and behold, they did continue to take the riding mower back and caused more damage. I finally got frustrated and called to try to escalate the process and the person answering the phones could not have cared less (or gave a very poor impression and customer service) and was very nonchalant. When they came out the guy I dealt with (cant remember name, I am sure we can go back and find it if it is relevant) came and spoke to me in person and was extremely apologetic, explained the delays in finding matching vinyl and needing to order it. He assured me it would be taken care of in a couple of weeks, so I gave benefit of the doubt and said I was happy to work with them if they could get this resolved. Over TWO MONTHS pass before it is resolved and required me calling multiple times for follow-up, when finally our siding was replaced. Due to the fact that the original color had obviously sun faded from being on our house, we were told he would come back and paint it after finding a match in a couple of weeks. This also went 2+ MONTHS and never had anything happen and no follow-up, so we finally canceled because I didnt want to waste more time (on top of the money I feel we wasted for service) babysitting something because of someone elses lack of professionalism. We had sprinkler blowouts scheduled at that time, which they still completed, but never made further mention of finishing, no apologies, etc. I have since taken over caring for our yard and it has been healthier than it ever was before! In doing the maintenance myself I also, unfortunately, noticed how chewed up some of our fencing is from the edge trimming that had been done so there are chunks of fencing broken at the bottom. I am sure there was some minor damage before, but some is really bad to where it makes me sick to think about. I wish I had checked sooner (not that it would likely have been resolved in any timely manner, if at all, based on our previous experiences.) The only downside will be managing leaf removal this season, but it is a small price to pay for not constantly having busted sprinklers and having to babysit getting things rectified. It is incredibly frustrating to pay for a service having to hassle people to do it right or fix problems, wasting as much time as if you would have just done it yourself in the first place! It sucks to save no time and be frustrated and stressed when you expect a level of professional courtesy and effort. I have been much happier after the initial hurdles of getting used to our own lawn care. I pay $5 extra a month for a second trash barrel for grass (our yard isnt huge but decent sized and it was filling one can) which has made the process pretty hassle-free. I saw all the other reviews were positive, so hopefully I am the outlier, but I hope either way this review saves someone else the headache if they have other choices or arent sure whether to just do it themselves.

Such a great company. Every employee we ve come in contact with has been nothing short then exceptional with their professionalism, friendliness, promptness and work ethic. Very happy with all the work they ve done for us so far. Bonus is they re a local family owned business which I think is awesome to support.

Century Lawn Care has been my one stop shop for all lawn needs. The owners Jess and Steve are quick to respond and accommodate the needs of their client. We went from getting letters from our HOA about brown grass to having one of the best looking and green lawns in the neighborhood thanks to the work of Century Lawn Care. They are thorough in their weekly lawn care, ensure the lawn fertilization program is working properly and always make sure the lawn is getting watered properly.

We could not be happier with Steve and Century Lawn Care!! They just came and serviced our lawn and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of!! Highly recommend!

5 stars. Steve and his team are passionate about what they do. I am a beginner in terms of caring for a lawn and the previous summer (2018) was pretty bad for our lawn as I couldn t get a hold of the various factors that contribute to a healthy looking lawn. In summer 2019, my one and only goal was to get have a great and healthy lawn. Steve helped me not only with the needs for my lawn but also the knowledge that is required to sustain it. What Steve does is just more than business. I would highly recommend century lawn care for anybody s lawn needs out there!
