Called in Mid-April to schedule sprinkler set up. Was told they hadn't decided on when to do those yet because of cold weather. Called back the following week and talked to Jessie. He said he would mail a newsletter with pricing throughout the year for sprinkler service. I told him I only wanted the initial set up. He said he would call back to set up appointment. Never did. I called back the following week and was told Jessie was in a meeting and would call back. He never did.
Jesse has been very attentive. He got someone out right away after two companies were a no show. The crew is dependable and does a good job. Jesse called after a couple months of service to check in. Our experience has been very good!
Unfortunately, ProVision was the company chosen by our builder to install the landscaping and irrigation at our home. To say their work is sub-par is an understatement, and giving them zero stars isn't an option. Plants were planted in areas that weren't appropriate for the plant (e.g. putting a hydrangea by a tree - both take a lot of water) causing them to die. Even when they did warranty work and one of their "supervisors" indicated the plant should have never been planted there, they still didn't fix the problem. As for the sprinklers, they seem to have used as few as they could possibly get away with, resulting in consistently large, brown patches. Even after telling them for months about the issues, they refused to rectify the problems, instead using excuses about the soil, the slope of the drainage (which they created), lack of watering, too much watering, etc. It's apparent I'm going to have to replace the existing sprinklers with more powerful ones and add new ones in order to accommodate the needs of my yard. When our warranty period ended, they didn't hand us off to their maintenance department, as promised, so we didn't have the opportunity to get an agreement in place for them to maintain our yard. Communication with their administrative staff was very terse, and not friendly. I suppose when you're dealing with multiple new construction jobs, warranties, and other landscaping jobs, it's easier to brush off customers than actually engage with them. At the end of the day, I don't recommend them and given there are hundreds of other options here in the valley, surely there's a company willing to provide stellar customer service and quality installation and products.
Unreliable company, poor service. Some weeks they didn't show up to mow the lawn and then no one answer the phone when I call. We switched to another company this year.
This is a poorly run company with more money put into their website then actual training to their staff. Multiple calls have been made to them, all with unreturned calls, including our last option...a threat to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (must note that once on the BBB website complaints already exist)....still no response. Our sprinkler system was shut off and not repaired. This has been that way for over a month now. I bought their sorry "package deal" to have our sprinklers turned on and aeration to our lawn (which only parts were completed). After multiple messages a young kid came to the door told our son a sprinkler was broken, they would call to set up a time to repair it, he than turned that section off, and never called or returned. I will say they were quick in cashing our check however!!! DON'T use these people.
I had a tree I needed removed and another tree to put in its place. They did an absolutely beautiful job. You can't even tell where the trees used to be.
this is an update to my review 10-9-14 - I tried emailing the company and with in 10 min I had an email back, I don't know if there phone system is having problems that they may not be aware of. I was able to talk with the coo and he said he would have a new person come out and take care of me that they just hired. the new lady is so far really great, she is comforting and re assuring, and this is the first time in this whole process that I feel like things will be made right (hoping as I put a lot of money into this big purchase). I will no longer be working with the other person as they are no longer with the company. the new person cared about how I felt and wanted to know what I would like. She said she would get a written agreement together to replace and fix all of the bad landscaping I had, from dead trees to subpar work on some of the landscaping items; and told me it should have never happened, She said she would have the owner sign it with her and they would fix everything on my time table that works best for me. (new plants and no irrigation not a good combo - extra cost in water and time to manual water them, and she said I should not have to pay and do more to fix the problem) So if this all works out and actually takes place in the spring I will change my review to reflect what I see. and how the rest of it goes. - this will be a very in-depth review that will take time as landscape is a seasonal thing but I will update it. so far I am moving up a star and I am hopeful for a good future. first review: They take days if not weeks to call you back. - I would not trust the quoted price of the job - I was quoted a job for x amount and it ended up being way over that amount by the time I was done, thousands above. Now I have many dead trees and bushes, they said that I get a one year warranty - it has been since February of 2014 when we had the work done. It took over month to get somebody to come see the dead trees and bushes and agreed they were dead. Now it has been almost 2 months, and still no word from them about when they are coming to replace. - Called office twice and left 2 voice mail to see the status of when they were coming out. It have been over 48 hours from first voice mail and still no response. I would not recommend them, between the lack of communication and what some would call bait and switch tactics of the quote process. (They say they quote x amount of yards of rock to complete the job in the begging, yes it was listed on the quote this many yards, but if the amount they quote is wrong you pay the difference. So unless you know exactly every correct amount you need to get the job done I would not trust the knowledge of this company to provide anywhere near an accurate quote. I was quoted less than the actual amount needed to get the job done almost by double. Therefore you have to pay more a lot more than I planned. I guess it is my vault for not knowing how much a yard of rock covers, I guess if I did though I would not have hired a professional.) I will update my review if they ever replace all my dead shrubs and trees as they say they will under the warranty. But by the lack of communication I can tell that may not be the case, thankful I saved all the bid changes, emails and re-adjusted bids, as well as voice mails and website screen shots saying the warranty for one and have taken plenty of pictures.
