We couldn’t be more pleased with the patio and brick-edged plant beds Inspired Landscaping installed in our back yard. Our house was built in 1940 and the yard had been completely neglected for 80+ years when we bought it. The only “improvements” were chain link fencing, a weedy lawn, and a few of the usual zone 4 plants around the edges. Not exactly inspiring. But as we talked to owner Gus Nunez, a plan began to take shape. We had to wait two months for our project to rise to the top of his list. But that gave us time to look at examples online and refine our plan. And when our project was next, Gus gave it his full attention until it was completed. The design was fairly simple, but he approached it with creativity, skill and attention to detail. We found him to be very good-natured, smart and easy to work with. We had a couple large projects we wanted done (a retaining wall with stairs and a patio). They did amazing work as proven by the photos attached with before/after photos... Gus is such a friendly, kind individual who is very communicative and amazing at the work he does. It's rare to find someone who does the quote/estimate AND does all the work. He was here every single day with his crew, rain or shine, hot or not (although it was VERY hot many days they were here. We are very thankful for Gus, his crew, and this company. As selfish as I would like to be (same as another reviewer's comment), if you need landscaping work done, this is who you want to do it. No hesitation. Gustavo and the Inspired Landscaping team recently wrapped up our second major project and they are in the process of quoting a third piece of substantial work. My only hesitation in highly recommending Inspired Landscaping is purely selfish: I want my list of future projects to fit into their schedule. 🙂 A few things stand out in our experience compared with other contractors we've hired: 1. Openness and willingness to accommodate feedback - big and small. In both projects, we encountered the inevitable concern that comes up in any big home improvement projects and Gustavo brainstormed options with us, shared his expertise, and ensured that we were happy with the outcome. 2. Communication! Gustavo proactively communicated with us before and throughout the project. This included proactively providing his insurance certification, keeping us apprised of advanced scheduling and even letting us know if the team wouldn’t be onsite on a particular day. There weren’t any surprises along the way with the Inspired Landscaping team. 3. Pace of quality work. Gustavo and his team built us a large patio and installed a set of 20+ large stone stairs - both on difficult to navigate terrain in a very steep backyard. We marveled at how the team worked efficiently and delivered projects that matched our vision. Gustavo is courteous, earnest, and passionate about his work and that was clear from my introductory meeting with him. I highly recommend him and the whole team at Inspired Landscaping!

Gus did a phenomenal job with our patio and edging!! Gus was communicative, easy to talk to, flexible, brought a lot of good ideas to the table, was professional, provided us with a great sense of calm, and he continued to keep us in the loop about his plan. You get great quality work at a reasonable price! Even more important you get to work with someone that is easy to trust and puts the customer first. Gus also does all the hard work of coordinating the drop off of materials and working with the supply vendor if there are any issues. I have already recommended Gus to my neighbors, friends, and coworkers, and will continue to do so!

Gustavo does excellent work. If you're unsure of what you should do with some aspect of your yard, he is more than willing to give suggestions and ideas on what will look good. More than once we weren't certain with exactly what we wanted and he would propose several ideas and designs that we could do. We're extremely happy with how our yard project turned out - which was a huge undertaking. We completely gutted our back yard and started from scratch - it turned out great. From tearing down an old shed to regrading to installing edging and a retaining wall, he did it all. Best of all, he's very flexible and won't complain when you are working on something else in his way, I installed irrigation while he was here working on the yard and didn't mind when I would mess up something he was working on (I think, haha). Took out the before/after videos to see all he did. It was a lot, and his prices and work ethic are the best you will find. Thanks Gus!

Gustavo just finished a landscaping job at my house. He did an excellent job! He worked extremely hard and got everything just the way we wanted it to be. I would highly recommend him and his company. He was very reliable, and helpful with the design and thoughts. We strongly recommend him. Wonderful person to work with!

Gus did wonderful job on our landscaping project. He wrote up the quote for project, and even made some great suggestions. He keeps you informed of his progress, and was very responsive when we had last minute changes. He is a very hard worker, a true professional, and i will not hesitate to contact him for my next landscaping project.

I've worked with many landscaping and other trades contractors. Gustavo and Inspired Landscaping were fantastic!. Gustavo was easy to work with, his prices were fair, and the quality of his effort and attention to detail produced great results for us. Inspired Landscaping worked on a project for us in late 2019 to remove a kids play area and resod/reseed. They also extended our patio to match, installed a pit and french drain for water control, and built several boulder walls to control water flow as well as for new planting and mulch areas around trees where grass never thrived. Gustavo reviewed my project, consulted with me on ideas, and delivered. There were a few hiccups along the way (show me a construction project without them), but Gustavo handled them with professionalism, a get-it-right attitude, and creative solutions. The measure of a person and company is how they react when things don't go perfectly, and Gustavo and team showed they have that in spades (no pun intended). I would absolutely work with them again and plan to in the 2020 season.
