We absolutely loved our experience working with Kirby Landscaping this past fall! We were looking to have our overgrown Church Hill backyard upgraded with both hard and softscaping, and Chris (the designer and our main point of contact) delivered us three beautiful proposals based on an initial meeting, in a very timely manner. We selected one, and after the contract was signed, the project start date was set for about a month and a half later. They delivered on both the start and the finish dates exactly as promised - even factoring in a couple of rain day delays. They are true professionals, and we felt well taken care of throughout the process. We are amazed with the results and love our new backyard!

He offered many creative solutions, incorporated our feedback and ideas, and communicated quickly! Chris worked with us during multiple meetings and made an initially overwhelming process easy to understand and come to life! Project Execution: The installation of the patio was completed with excellent precision and the stonework is beautifully done. The team was incredibly efficient and meticulous with every detail. They were professional and left our backyard clean of trash and materials and ready for use! Chris came for frequent check ins and project updates throughout the installation process as well. Landscaping: The landscaping was equally impressive. Chris selected plants that will bring color and texture to our backyard throughout the seasons and are also well-suited to the local climate. He provided education to us on how to ensure the plants continue to look great in the seasons to come as well! Overall, Kirby Landscaping Company exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The team was consistently professional, punctual, and respectful. Communication was excellent; they kept us updated on progress and any potential adjustments. Kirby Landscaping installed our original landscape plan in 2017, which was very large, including hardscape and retaining walls, and a fenced in raised garden. They were just back out to remove some big bushes lost in a storm, clean up beds, define edges, mulch, weed, and install a new planting bed. The workmanship exceeded expectations. Charles, the owner, listens to his customers to understand their desires, then he delivers! No fuss. No mess. We are anxious for our next project. Thank you Kirby Landscaping.
Very courteous and efficient
Contacted them about trimming trees they had planted and a hedge row. Sent them pics for an estimate. Over two weeks and no return call, guess theyre too busy or its more work than they can handle. Still, whatever the reason they should have responded. No big deal, tells me that I need to find someone to do the work with a sense of responsibility. Thanks for making it easy!

We had azaleas that have been in our yard for a little over 30 years. Over time sumac, poison ivy and the like had gotten into them, and after a round of getting on my husband and I we knew it was time to take them out. The man (Calven) that worked the machine to get them up was so nice, and he did a wonderful job. Our yard looks really great. If you need yard work done Kirbys is the one to call.
We worked with the owner Charles Kirby Jr who was prompt, professional and extremely well versed in his business. They installed a gorgeous new patio in back of our house where we were having an addition built, and also replaced our front walkway with the same patio stone. The patio crew was detail oriented and focused on the work, which shows up in the completed project. Would highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of having patio or walkway work done.
