We have a beautiful yard thanks to Clare! We would highly recommend LandArt for any landscaping projects in the DC area. Clare is incredibly knowledgeable about flora and fauna and is thoughtful about where to place them in a yard. She considers light, water, and maintenance needs in her designs. She took our boring and dangerously muddy landscaping and made it into an outdoor retreat where we spend most of our time.

Clare is amazing! She made the process super easy and was a pleasure to work with! I was able to create my dream porch exactly the way I always dreamed!

The LandArt team designed and implemented a full renovation of our outdoor space including new stone stairs and entry way, swimming pool, hot tub, kitchen area and pergola. It was an extensive project that proceeded flawlessly. The design and space are beautiful and the focal point for all of the family's outdoor entertainment. We couldn't be happier.

We engaged Land Art Design for a large backyard construction project: screened porch addition (with fireplace), covered grilling station, retaining wall, new pathways (both flagstone and large stepping stones), hardscaping, new gate and fence, and a gated enclosure for our trash cans and generator. In short, the Land Art team was a pleasure to work with, and we would highly recommend them. Every aspect of the project is aesthetically and functionally better than we had anticipated, and we have spent virtually all of our free time the past two weeks (post-project completion) in the space. We spent a significant amount of time in the planning stages, and Clare and Jimmy provided 5+ different designs over a period of several months to accommodate all of our goals in transforming the space. Our project had a few conceptual challenges (roof tie-ins, etc.) that required clever solutions, and the Land Art team was up to the task. They were extremely patient despite our slow deliberations (and, to be clear, the delays were due to indecisiveness on our part and were not driven by Land Art!) and were prepared to move when we finally settled on a plan. Once we started, the project proceeded in accordance with the construction plan we had developed, with daily or weekly (informal) meetings with Jimmy and the crew to discuss upcoming activities and decision points. As a result of the significant time we spent on the design phase, there were not many change orders, and we did not have any issues when change orders were required. More importantly, Jimmy and the construction team were very understanding when we changed our mind on a design/construction decision... after the decision had already been implemented (which included painting, stains, some structural elements, etc.)! We will definitely use Land Art again in the future.

Land Art designed and installed multiple walls on our property. The work was phenomenal and exceeded our expectations. I can’t say enough good things about the work. True Art.

Our deck came out beautifully - Clare was responsive and her workers were prompt, respectful, polite and hardworking. Highly recommend - our space is beautiful.
