I came home to a leak in the front yard so of course, I needed to figure out how to get it fixed as soon as possible. After doing some online research this company made the most sense. I called and within minutes I had an appointment set, and they even walked me through costs and pricing options that will allow me to keep my system in great shape all year round. Extremely reasonable and the service was excellent.

The employee were very nice and kind. They made sure I was informed and understood what was happening.

I called 5 irrigation companies for an issue and Lawn Services not only charged the least, but they also were the most understanding. We had a leak between our house and our neighbors. The other companies wanted to charge 2 system checks for 1 issue, but Lawn Services only charged 1 - as it should be. Lawn Services also came out next day during a holiday week.

Very quick to respond to my scheduling request. They are ready to accommodate your request. I got a notification when the technician was heading my way as well as travel time to our location. Michael R. arrived and was very professional. We discussed our needs and he diagnosis was quick and efficient. I joined their yearly maintenance and saved money from the start. We are 5 Star happy with them. Much, much better than any other service company we had used in the past. They came out two more times in response to irrigation heads sticking or leaking. Really excellent. They know that it is the little things that matter as much as major things.

This is a horrible company. Overpriced and they recommend unnecessary work and don t guarantee their work. I called them because my sprinkler system was not turning on and there was water pooling in the ground at one of the stations. A technical name Shea recommended I change the entire control system and that he found 2 leaks in the ground. After spending close to $3000, he was unable to test the water as the city had turned it off that day due to road work. He came back again another day and said there was a block in my pipes and I should contact another company to check that. There was water still pooling and I contacted this company several times to come back and take a look. Today, I contacted a new company who under 1 hr figured out the issue - my sprinkler valve was turned off - that s why there was no water and the wiring is disconnected and that s why the control system was not working. Do not use this company and even if they give you an estimate, don t commit to them doing the work unless you get a 2nd and 3rd opinion. Exorbitant pricing and horrible customer experience!!!

Update: the service manager Jacob reached out to me almost immediately after my initial review and took accountability for the misdiagnosis of our sprinkler problems, thanked me for the specific, honest feedback, and assured me he would use it to provide additional coaching in an effort to avoid such misdiagnoses for other clients in the future. He also agreed to refund the diagnostic fee since the diagnosis was inaccurate. I appreciate the professionalism and accountability Lawn Sense showed and would consider using them again and recommending them strictly based on this interaction with Jacob. Lawn Sense was quick to respond and send someone out, but I felt like the kid who came out was not super knowledgeable. At first he identified a potential problem with the wiring from the main valve but said we wouldn t need to fix it, then called his boss who told him we in fact needed to replace the entire main valve. He also found the leak but couldn t diagnose why it was leaking, so suggested just replacing the entire valve instead. We were provided an estimate that was, frankly, outrageous (over $2,000) to replace 2 sprinkler valves, the main valve, and pull out some equipment to locate the break in the wiring ($500 alone!) Thank goodness we got a second opinion - I would ve been sick if we d paid all that money when it wasn t needed (the issue ended up being a solenoid threaded incorrectly and the wiring just had to be capped off and rerouted - total $150). I m annoyed we even paid the $79+tax for the service call when the diagnosis was so outrageous. The guy who came out was nice and the woman on the phone who scheduled us was friendly, but I would never use them again just because it felt like their estimate was so excessive in scope and price.

We have used this company several times. Scheduling an appointment is always easy and they are out quickly. Staff are always friendly and on time.

Booking was so easy! I filled out the form online and received a text message right away that they would contact me the next day because it was after hours. The next day I did receive a text and my appointment was confirmed! They also went over service plans with me and I did not feel pressured at all.

They were prompt in reaching out and trying to accommodate to my schedule to come out and fix my sprinkler system. The actual visit and cost to fix the problem was on the extreme end though. Cost of part worth 200 and 30 to an 1 hour to repair should not be 1200.

Joey came out and figured out my sprinkler issues and then presented me with 3 price point options of what repairs needed to be done, and then some additional work I inquired about. I was able to make an informed decision as to the work being done. (Service scheduled for later this week)

I sent a request for a quote for different irrigation issues. After waiting for two days with no word, I sent another message. After the second attempt, I was contacted promptly and an appointment time was scheduled for someone to look at the problems. I will update review following the service call. Update: Once the technician arrived all of the different issues were repaired within an hour. My irrigation system has been operating without any problems ever since. Thank you!

Terrible overall experience. Hired company to check on and repair sprinkler system as well as install bubblers. Left bubbler hoses coiled up above ground, did not fix one soaker hose but claimed they had, and left the system control box open and system turned off when they left.

LawnSense service. They also do not return calls to discuss. Manager is always unavailable. Next stop BBB. Awaiting there canned response to all bad reviews. Requested service for 2 irrigation valves having issues, one leaked and the other did not open. Polite young man came out and sprinklers were not coming on at all when he went to test. He said he checked all connections and they were good and would need to see if could find a broken wire in the ground and would have to sign agreement to pay flat rate of $943.00 for the troubleshooting and repair. I understand you have to pay for special equipment and training so I was willing to pay the $943 as a lot of wires to trace and time consuming and he had already visually inspected everything (or not). 20 minutes later he says he is finished and fixed the problem. Problem was just a loose wire tie from a connection at master station. I spent a total of $972 for less than $30 in parts (wire ties and one valve) and 30 minutes of work. No tracing was needed or done. Called customer service to voice frustration that visual inspection and checking wire ties should not cost that much as no tracing to find non-existent break was done. Response was that they have a flat rate for the service I signed. Not all troubleshooting was done to properly identify problem. They should have adjusted cost since that service was not done.

I really appreciated the timely response to my request for a service call. Also the scheduler answered all my questions. Looking forward to the appointment.

Left a message with all my info, location and suspected issue and maybe 10 minutes later had a call back scheduling sometime for the first available day. He was patient and polite as we worked through what was wrong and how to address the issues. I appreciated the upfront pricing and knowing exactly what I was getting for my money. While service repairs are always more expensive than what we hope for as homeowners, I am satisfied with the end result of having a fully functioning sprinkler system again.

I called Lawn Sense to fix two sprinkler heads & a sprinkler line less than 12 inches from the sprinkler head. Damon called me at work to give me a quote of $800 to replace 3 sprinkler heads & fix the line connected to the sprinkler head. What a ridiculous price for 10 minutes worth of work but i had him replace the 3 heads that he said needed to be replaced. He actually charged me to replace a sprinkler head on a sprinkler line that was not connected as the line was broken. Not sure how he knew the head wasnt working if the line was cut but it was all just a money grab. I would try and find someone more reputable that wont gouge you as chraging $300 to replace 3 sprinkler heads and $500 to patch a sprinkler line is egregious.

Garrett came out and fixed a burst pipe that was caused by root intrusion. The root had grown around the pipe, the valve control, and the zone wiring. It would ve taken up way too much of my time. Garrett got it knocked out in less than 2 hours with minimal interruptions and was very personable. He also took the time to inspect the rest of my zones and adjust my sprinkler heads so they were optimally covering my yard. In my opinion he went above and beyond what was required for this job.

We used Lawn Sense 2 or 3 times before and were satisfied with their services. We recently had them out to assess our irrigation system as we knew it wasnt performing optimally. The estimate for all repairs was in excess of $2,200. The estimate included replacement of the back flow device because it is older technology that is no longer used, NOT because it didnt function properly. The technician should know that homeowners are not required to retrofit their homes with newer technology. This appears to be a money grab. Per the Lawn Sense estimate, we had 5 broken sprinkler heads. A subsequent assessment by another company revealed only 2 broken sprinkler heads. Again, a blatant money grab. Lawn Sense also recommended replacing the system controller and adding a rain sensor. This made us very suspicious of the estimate in whole, as the controller was replaced about 2 years ago, and we already have a rain sensor. Engage this company at your own risk. After our latest experience with them, I dont think you can get an honest assessment. We will NOT be using them again. Update: Lawn Sense very generously refunded their service charge. Thank you Lawn Sense.

I would like to clarify that my primary concern, which remains unaddressed, was my repeated attempts to speak with a service manager about this issue - NOT seeking a warranty. I requested to speak with a service manager to discuss the work done on my property. Despite multiple attempts, I was unable to get a response to this specific request. While I appreciate Lawn Senses offer to inspect and repair the issue (at a cost), I remain disappointed in the lack of direct communication regarding my concerns about their previous work which could have resolved this amicably. So, I am unable to recommend this service and advise caution to others considering them. ************************************** Im reluctantly writing this review about Lawn Sense after attempting to resolve issues directly with their management. About two years ago, I hired Lawn Sense to reactivate a dormant sprinkler system. They successfully got it operational, and a few months later, they repaired a leak under warranty. This year, we experienced a massive leak near the house corner, resulting in a $200 water bill increase within weeks. I called a reputable plumber who excavated the area and discovered a leaking sprinkler system joint. The plumber provided photographic evidence showing extremely poor workmanship - the joint was unprotected and held together with wire. This repair cost $1,500, bringing the total unexpected expense to $1,700. I reached out to Lawn Sense to discuss the issue and understand what happened. Initially, they asked me to text them the photo. However, since then, theyve been unresponsive despite my attempts to speak with their Service Manager. This experience has been disappointing, especially since I value long-term business relationships. Unfortunately, Lawn Sense doesnt seem to share this sentiment.

Past week (on 07/10) I had an appointment for new sprinkler controller (Rachio 3) installation. However , without my permission the old controller (weathermatic ) along with the zone information instructions sheet was taken away by the technician. I tried reporting this issue to the management but have not received any response yet . Also since then we ve been seeing fluctuations in electricity (lights going off) . Not sure how this company has got 5 star reviews . PS : situation kept getting worse I see a heavy water leakage from one of the sprinklers exactly a week after replacing sprinkler heads.

Called lawn sense for a leak in one of my sprinkler stations near a long stacked stone wall across the back of my pool. The technician came out and dug a small hole down to a pipe by the wall. He then told me the pipe ran under the wall and the only way to fix it was to tear out the wall. Really??? He then charged me $80 for this great information and left. I asked my yard guy to look at it. He fixed it in 90 minutes. The technician didn t even dig in the right place. He dug up a supply line for the swimming pool. Scheduling is easy though, I d give 5 stars for that. Addendum: The service manager contacted me immediately after reading my review. He assured me that the area would have been further excavated and the pipes/break properly identified before taking any action and that demolishing the wall would have been the very last resort and rarely necessary . He refunded the trip charge as a consideration for the confusion. After this further interaction I feel that Lawn Sense is a good company that does care about customer service and satisfaction. I have subsequently increased my rating to 4 stars and I would be happy to give them another try in the future.

Total waste of time and money. Ethan was very lazy. Ethan wanted to go in the garage and check the wiring although my garage was full he was able to go in and check the wiring. After checking he said everything is ok and the problem is outside he tried to locate the zone witch is not working but couldnt find it after just a few minutes and decided to leave because he has to go inside the garage with a very big machine to try to locate the box outside and dont want to go through the front door to the garage the garage he already went in and said everything is ok there. Ethan doesnt want to spend little time outside trying to find the zone box and solve the problem he decided to just collect $70 and leave. The other thing I do not appreciate the company wants you to rate their scheduling before they even show up to your house to get a discount how do you want me to rate you even if you didnt make it to my house yet ? Are you manipulating your customers to get good ratings?
