Gecko Green Lawn Care in McKinney

Hired professional service to take good care of lawn. First they were coming out pretty much every 4 weeks or so which seemed a lot. Lawn was getting brown patches and I was asking the tech if I could apply something else and was told not to do so. It s just heat stress. And now within 2-3 months, lawn has become worst. Wish had taken self care only as atleast would have noticed and issue and resolved it. Then a month or so ago, they called to sell aeration and shared the concern and nothing, just account was notated. 2 weeks ago called them and asked them to not come for the next visit. They put account on hold and quality manager would stop by to inspect. He came and was sorry this happened.. tech should have explained verbally if he saw issues. He also offered even though account on hold, he will still send someone for preemergents to save lawn from weeds and then if I want to resume in spring, just call them. 3 days ago I get another call to sell remaining 3 services of the year with some discount and when I mention about what Qa manager said, this guy told may be the Qa manager is going to come himself as account is on hold. Would I be interested to continue and when I said no, he hung up. So just sale and nothing else. Should have done weed and feed myself and saved me money per visit. Not a well spent $300-$400

Your driver swung too wide pulling out of a parking lot and honked at me because he was too close as he decided to establish himself on the middle of the street instead of on his side. I was in my lane and technically had the right of way since he came from a parking lot.

Gecko Green lawn technician Chris Y. did an excellent job today explaining the type of pop-up weeds in my yard & treating them so they ll die away. He also gave good pointers on beneficial times to water during the end of summer heat.

Chris was very professional and gave me some advice on my lawn care. He addressed my concerns and was very nice. He did a great job!

Sadarius is always friendly and takes time to go over and look at my yard with me. Really appreciate his bright smile and friendly attitude.

We made worst decision choosing Gecko green for our lawn and worst is we prepaid for the year. They have done 3 services so far and no positive results. They claim that they take care of Crabgrass and other weeds but we see that the crabgrass is not dying but instead spreading in the lawn. The customer care lady who calls after we leave a message tells us to mow the lawn and they will fix it on their next visit but we don t see any improvement even after watering the lawn and mowing as they instructed. There is no improvement they say they will take care of the weeds but we don t see any results. Regret switching from Tru-green that did a better job for almost same price and we didn t have to reach out to their customer service.

We ve been very pleased with their work and great customer service for over a year now.

Please respect peoples No Solicitation signs. This company stuck their advertising in my door despite the sign in front of my house saying no solicitation.

Please for the love of god stop leaving your soliciting papers flyers and general trash on my porch. I have multiple signs against soliciting. Why would I conduct business with and trust a company that doesnt even respect a no soliciting sign?

billing for services never provided, extremely rude office staff.... do not sign their joke of a contract....

Im still a new customer with Gecko Green but, I really like this fertilizer company. They take the time to talk to me and give me clear instructions on how to make my yard look its best. Ive always done my yard myself but was actually surprised that the cost of hiring a company to do it was very comparable to doing it myself when you add up for the entire year. If my yard looks great this year Ill definitely continue to use them for years to come. But so far Im hopeful. Took some before pictures, Ill post before and after pictures after I used them a little longer.

I have been dealing with scorpions in my house and garage. When I called Gecko Green I was thrilled to hear that they do treat for scorpions! Jason arrived right on time for my service. Gecko Green has done a good job with our yard. Their pest control hasnt been quite as effective as wed like, but their lawn fertilization, aeration, and tree/shrub service has been good enough to keep everything looking pretty good. Rep Cruz showed up on time and was detailed about how to repair my tree which has not been getting water due to hole in irrigation system and then applied and detailed as to how to bring tree back with 2 wet towels wrap around base of tree.

I called Gecko green last week on Monday to cancel their service. The person I spoke to over the phone tried to give some discounts and/or reschedule the appointment; however, I was very clear I was not interested in neither of those options, I just wanted to cancel. They said we still had another service left, and I said I will let my husband decide on that one because he is the one in charged of contracting you guys in the 1st place, perhaps later he may want that one service. (We do Off and on service throughout the year) They usually come every 6 weeks to 2 months apart for the next service. Then a week later, today, they come over to my home, without even ringing my door bell 1st, I was home the whole time, and they did a service. I was upset and call them right away, and told them I just canceled the appointment last week, why did you guys come over? It hasn t been 6 to 8 weeks! They told me it was my last service and they did it bc I still had 1 left .. That was wrong what they did. If I just spoke to them a few days ago that I didn t want their service, then why go and reschedule another one a few days later? We might of done that service in a couple of months later, but instead they took it upon them selves to do it sooner. I will NEVER do business with them again. I will go with another company next time.

Gecko Green is a very dependable company. They have taken care of my lawn for years. Their technicians are very knowledgeable and helpful. Todays technician, Jason Jones, took the time to explain to me how to help a part of my yard that was ruined by construction. Also, I like that Jason always picks up any toys or dog toys left on the lawn and puts them on the porch before he treats the yard.

Kyle Robinson was our technician on 12/13. He s always the most helpful, caring and professional tech for our yard. He takes time discuss his observations with me in person, explains items I don t understand and is patient with all my questions. He s incredible and because of him would recommend Gecko to any of my friends.

So after one year with Gecko Green, there s good news and bad news. The good news is that I ve had almost no pests and the technicians were friendly. So 10/10 for pest control. When it comes to the lawn, it s pretty much dead. I ll need to start from scratch this spring and hope for the best.
