New customer. Very dissatisfied with service so far but unfortunately I m already committed to their contract for a year. The 1st time the guy came out to spray, he said he was spraying for ants when I specifically said I wanted it sprayed for roaches when I made the appointment. We weren t on the same page with understanding of the work to be done. He also wasn t as thorough as I d liked him to be. It s also very hard to make an appointment. They aren t good about answering their phone to schedule appointments & take a long time to respond to your voice message left.,

Very happy with our service for years now. Our technician, Jonathan Moose, always goes above and beyond when he comes to service our yard. Its the little things that go a long way, and hes always willing to answer any questions (from a very inquisitive 5 year old) with patience and kindness. Highly recommend.

The tech (Chris) who came out for termite treatment was great. He did a good job and explained things well. The office did a poor job of scheduling and sent multiple invoices with different amounts that was confusing and did not match the website when trying to make a payment.

We have had several attempts at eradicating Killer Cicada wasps. Jonathan M., came out today and explained the challenges these type of wasp present (verified by his supervisor Richard Jones). Jonathan spent a lot of time finding and treating the dirt mounds where these wasps thrive, and provided superb communication along the way. His professionalism and knowledge inspired a great deal of confidence ..he is a credit to the company.

Began working with Jonathan Moose at Killingsworth Environmental recently, and I highly recommend him. He is on time, answers all questions, and provides excellent customer service. Today Scott B. Serviced our home. It is easy for people to complain and rare they want to give a compliment. Scott was probably the best and most customer oriented technician I have ever dealt with. Every Killingsworth technician has been great. However, Scott really proved to love what he does!

I would never recommend there service. They dont show up when scheduled or call to notify you, and several times the didnt show up at all. When you call them, they Im sorry you must of misunderstood. When I brought this houe they already had the contract. I will cancel my contract when it is up for renewal. Just like I canceled there services years ago at my previous house due their quality of service.

I have used Killingsworth since the spring of 2015. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Our technician was John V and I have never been more satisfied with a a company and their employees. Since that time John has been promoted and moved to manage other areas. I was so upset because John makes every customer feel valued and appreciated and I worried about who would help. When I noticed moths in my pantry I panicked, and texted John. He still came by to handle the problem. Then there were some mice droppings in the pantry a few years ago and I again texted him panicking. John came by and fixed everything. Since those years he was once again promoted and brought by the new team that would be servicing our home in Southpark to introduce them to us. I was so upset. I didn t want anyone else in my home. I knew John was as trustworthy as they come. We just returned back to Charlotte after a month s vacation and found that once again mice had entered the pantry for our yummy Lindt chocolate Lindor balls. I texted him last night that there were mouse droppings and his immediate reply was I will not allow that! What time would you like me to come by and take care of it? There you go in a nutshell. Again, if I could give 10 stars I would!

We had very professional and thorough experience with the Killingsworth team. DeQuan Sloan said that he d treat our house as it it was his own, and he really did well by us. He explained how he d keep the ants away and bait them as well. DeQuan treated the perimeter and explained why/how different insects could potentially nest around the house. We re very satisfied with all of our interactions with this team and highly recommend their services.

Had Killingsworth come out and treat for ants. The tech Chris did an excellent job in explaining the type of ants found and how they treat for them. He took his time to check the whole yard and applied a treatment to kill the ants. Even for repeat problems, Killingsworth responds promptly and does a good job.

This past winter we had an issue with mice getting into our house. We called a local exterminator who baited the house and never returned. This actually caused the mice to enter the house to feed. This just made the situation even worse. Then we called Killingsworth and they sent us Seth Morgan. He has done a fantastic job for us. He set up a monitoring system to watch rodent activity. He baited outside and inside the garage. Its been two weeks without any activity. Seth is professional and very knowledgeable in his craft. Request his services. You wont be disappointed. Ive used Killingsworth Environmental for our termite contract and pest control. Recently I called to schedule a maintenance visit and had the pleasure of speaking to Aubri. In a world where customer service is lacking this young woman gets it. She listened to the issues and promptly scheduled a visit. The bug guy comes out today, doesnt let us know we need to keep our dog indoors so he can go around back. Both my husband and I worked from home today, knew he was here but were never informed about this. Now, they had to call and reschedule saying issue was my dog was in fenced in back yard. Communication at the front door could have solved this. Now have a 3 hour window next week to wait for when they will come again. Poor communication has occurred with Killingsworth over the past 2-3 years - not same service as we used to get.

We had our regular visit with our technician this morning. Ricky is always professional and thorough as well as genuinely helpful. Worst customer service ever!! We were billed for lawn service not rendered. When I called the company to dispute the lawn service charge, I received the run around for months. I value good customer service and the company lawn care service needs help. As a result of their lawn care turmoil, I terminated all my other services.

Beatrice Berrian is amazing. She listened, talked, and educated me on things I didn t know. The customer service skills are rare and Beatrice is a team member you would want all your clients to have.

Hunter called ahead so we were prepared for him to come inside to spray. He listened to our needs and addressed them by telling us what he was using and why, then he completed the service and followed up by sending a summary report. He was personable and professional.

My yard is one of the nicest in the neighborhood. It has come such a long way since we first started using Killingsworth. Much better than tru-green.

We have used Killingsworth for years. Our general area is kinda bugey. It is rare we see any bugs inside or outside. It can be hard to get an appointment time. The last time unfortunately the tech went to the wrong address so he got to me later that day. It was inconvenient. However the tech was so knowledgeable and likeable I couldnt even be mad he took time to talk to me about the issues I was having and how to prevent it. Anthony was worth the wait.

We are very satisfied with the service.

No stars would be correct. This company s so-called Customer Retention Supervisor is a disgrace as a human being. I ve had a monthly service service contract with them since May, 2020, starting at $39. It s now $52.33. There is no warning or notice of price increases. I have rarely used the monthly service option. I called & emailed to cancel last week. I explained that as I rarely use it, it s not worth it. I told their Customer Retention Supervisor that I m a 71 year old disabled veteran & getting a bit distracted, trying to take care of a 74 year old wife with multiple medical issues. (I won t mention her name, but her glib & facile emails, thanking me for being a valued customer are a true insult.). I wonder what her annual bonus is I told her that I ll be going on to local social media & explaining my experience & perhaps that small negative publicity might be worth being forgiven $52.33. Her reply was more of the same. I ll be printing those emails & sending them to corporate via certified mail, then perhaps SOCTV. I was told that the contract required a 30 day notice & so I ll be charged another $52.33. It may not seem like much, but we are all paying more for food & gas. We haven t seen our children & grandson in over a year, as we cannot afford to travel. I just thought the public should know the true nature of Killingsworth & its corporate staff. They may do good work in pest control, but they are GREEDY & SARCASTIC, especially to an old man.

I would not recommend this company. They do not respond to voicemails. They renew your yearly services without asking first or verifying if you want to renew. They told me last month would be the last month I would be charged because I had to give a 30 day notice but then I was charged again this month. I would never use them again. I think more communication needs to happen.

Do not use this company, look at all the other bad reviews! On my first service they applied to much fertilizer/chemicals and killed part of my grass. On the second service they only applied fertilizer but not herbicide. I spent a month calling their offices and they kept saying someone would come out but they never did while a bunch of weeds grew all over my yard. Dont waste your money with these people!

Technicians are great, but the management and customer service are lacking. Difficult to get anyone on phone for scheduling and/or confirmation of appointments.

This company was an absolute waste of money! They came highly recommended when we moved to Charlotte and the recommendation definitely did not live up to expectations. Our lawn looks worse now after a year using their service than it did before. They never showed up to sweep for spiderwebs, clean out carpenter bee traps, or perform other simple and expected pest control services. I think they came to our home 2 times in a year of service . To top it off when I attempted to cancel my service I was told my contract had been satisfied and I could cancel at any time. I called back a week later to do so and then was told there was a 30 day cancellation period. The 1st customer service rep should have addressed that. When I returned the phone call from the customer retention specialist and left them a message that call went unreturned. Absolutely find a different service. If you really feel like spending the money for their service you could flush it down your toilet and get more satisfaction.

Beware - I was sent an email that my annual service contract would have a price increase of 15% or more. They came out and did the inspection. I received a bill for $360.00. The cost was $175.00 last year. I called and they explained the price increase was a minimum of 15% and that since I did not call prior to the service they charged $360.00. I called and they did reduce that to $201.25 which is a 15% increase. I did request they take me off auto renew but was informed a different department needed to do that. I then asked to cancel and was informed I would need to give 30 days notice and that they would contact me so I could give a 30 day notice. Wow! what a scam. Beware.

Terrible service . I had tota care plus program. Company will not respond even after 3 voicemails. Technician wont come on time . If they do, will do only half odlf services and will have to call again to reschedule. Always go to voicemail. Try to avoid as they have 1 yr contract and in additional $200+ fee at the begining. you will be stuck. I had to call them for spiders almost every 3 weeks. Their treatment just doesnt work.some tehcnicians would do a rush job if you are not telling them to clean webs . I got fooled because of high reviews on google. But i can see recent customer experience is bad for most people.

Theyve increased prices by 220% in two years for Termite Control. For the rest, they increased by 50% after the first year. And then another 50% the next. I need to call them every few weeks regarding overbilling issues. Each time requires trying every day for a week until I get a hold of someone in billing. They will price gouge you. Do not use them. Only getting 1 star because 0 stars wasnt an option.

Killingsworth did a good job of coming out to treat our house and their service always resolved the pest issues. The one negative is that they raised their prices and I found the service to be not worth the new price.

Dealing with the billing department to cancel my service after moving to a new address was a nightmare and bordered on harassment. They made a billing error by sending my an invoice for the month after I canceled my service, confirmed that it was their mistake, but then proceeded to call me for payment so many times for $35 that I finally just paid them to stop the obnoxious phone calls. I am sure that they spent a lot more than $35 trying to get me to pay them something they admitted I didnt owe. This company used to be privately owned, very professional and easy to deal with. Once it was purchased by a large international conglomerate, everything went downhill. I would never recommend Killingsworth to anyone looking for any type of pest control.

It has been my go-to pest company since I purchased my home over five years ago. Everyone I have dealt with has been very professional and friendly. They do an excellent job of explaining what they are doing and any issues that they find. They maintain open communications about when they will arrive and take great care to protect my home. One issue a couple of years ago and a simple call resulted in a tech arriving the next day.

This year along with the annual termite warranty renewal we opted in for pest service and prevention. After the initial treatment they ll come at regular intervals to keep bugs at bay or even if we have a special issue (like hornets). It s working really well. So far the critters are steering clear. There is never pressure to add services and we appreciate that they keep us informed. Seems they now have a real bed bug sniffing dog, plus special fire ant and mosquito treatment. More importantly to us however, is that their employees are very efficient, polite, and gracious. They answer all questions and explain everything they re doing. Top notch professionals.
