Great work. Great people. Great company!

The driver of one of their trucks, a white Dodge Ram, is a rude, vulgar, disrespectful, aggressive driver. Today at the QT Service Station on Sardis and Monroe in Charlotte, they should hire a person with patience and less aggressive if they are going to go with the logo of their company, since it makes them look bad on the street.

The team came to help us with a lot of grading. They then came back and laid beautiful new sod in our front yard. They did an amazing job and helped us think through the right design and areas to tackle. We get so many compliments from our neighbors. We will definitely be using them again when we work on the backyard soon! Adding to this review because we hired the team again to do the same work in our backyard this year and again they did a wonderful job. And just as important they are so easy to work with. They are great partners, hard workers and a great energy to have around. I cannot recommend them enough!

We had some low spots in our backyard that pooled up with water and took forever to dry out, which made for a muddy mess, so we had The Plant Guys level the backyard for us. The topsoil they used looked like good quality soil; it wasnt clay or full of rocks. After adding the topsoil, they seeded the lawn and overtop of that they put peat moss. The grass came through great, and after experiencing about a week of rain, I can say they really fixed the problem we were having. On top of that, the crew was easy-going and seemed to make pretty quick work of the job.

I am extremely happy with the landscaping that The Plants Guys did for me in Cresswind Charlotte. Jackson and James were very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and worked very hard. I will be calling them again in the future!

Harrison and Brian just left our house after doing an incredible job putting mulch down. I kept them hydrated on what will turn out to be one of the hottest days this month. We reached out to The Plant Guys for assistance when we decided to take action on the drainage issues in our backyard. We obtained several quotes - some were day laborers who would do what we asked them, others were out of our price range. The Plant Guys were in the upper third of the pricing, but we had no regrets once we contracted them. The quality of the work and materials exceeded our expectation and we havent had any issues in the year since our work. The drainage works like a charm and several of our neighbors have complemented the work. You pay what you get for - so if you want good, use The Plant Guys.

I ve worked with the Plant Guys for two landscaping projects on both the front and side of my home. Lauren, the project designer, was such a delight to work work. She is very knowledgeable and has a great eye for landscape design. She respected that I needed to have low maintenance choices and picked beautiful options for us. The entire crew was on-time and very polite.

Weve had two different projects completed by The Plant Guys. They re-worked our front landscaping and then we had them back to re-design the backyard. They have done demolition, built new beds and installed plants, and we couldnt be happier with the work! Jeff took the time to talk to us about our likes and dislikes before creating his design. Very pleased with both the design and installation of plants and trees in the backyard of our new house. The plants Lauren selected provide seasonal color and low maintenance. She was fun to work with and very patient. She always had several options to choose from. We brought several concrete pieces from our previous residences and she incorporated them nicely in our new landscape. This is my second project using Plant Guys. I highly recommend them.

Jeff and his team were incredible from start to finish. I was able to get a consultation and estimate within days of calling. Jeff worked through ideas to help keep me within my budget without sacrificing the look. His knowledge about plants and his patience for the design process was terrific. He maintained great communication, planned out the schedule, and his team showed up right on time, which was super appreciated! During the staging of the plants and material, he and his team were very thorough and thoughtful as we collaborated on the positioning of pieces. We bounced ideas back and forth to shape out the design and make sure it made sense for maintenance and the future growth of the plants. I really liked that Jeff trusted his team and would ask for their input at times; I can tell there is camaraderie and respect amongst his crew, which made it a pleasure to be around them. The house looks great. I am so thrilled with how the landscaping turned out. But, the best part was simply working with such a professional and caring group of people. I already plan to use them for future landscaping and maintenance needs!

December 2021 The 20 year old foundation plants and flower beds around our home were looking.scraggly and ugly. The Plant Guys patiently worked with us to develop a new landscape design for our home. The drawings went back and forth ;and we had a new plan with color for every season. Nick and Lauren arrived on demo day with 3 trucks and a small army to remove the scraggly monkey grass, overgrown shrubbery and trees.All stumps were ground out, and all debris taken away; and new beds were created.The next 2 days, new plants and mulch were put in place. The crew was always supervised and an arborist/horticulture specialist was on site. More work was done in January 2022. A beautiful stone pathway , with steps was created in the backyard natural area to prevent further erosion from rain water run off.More plants and Bermuda sod patches will be added in the spring. We are very happy with the work that has been done by The Plant Guys. We highly recommend Nick and his team of professionals.

We have used the plant guys for two different projects. Had a problem with a tree and they were quick to respond and fix the problem. I will use the plant guys again and would highly recommend!

TPG did a great job transforming the landscaping in the front of our yard after an external renovation. They even moved some of the existing plants to spots in the back yard which was above and beyond the scope we agreed to. Will had some great ideas for the design and communicated well with new ideas when there were supply issues with a couple of plants. They showed up when the said they would and responded to me promptly when I had questions. Will not hesitate to use them in the future.

I typically don t respond to random fliers in the mailbox. But the timing was perfect, I needed some landscape work accomplished. I called The Plant Guys and the experience could not have been better. From the first consultation where Lauren came to the house and walked with me in the rain. The advice she gave for prep work she recommended was perfect. A side benefit was a recommendation Lauren made for a sprinkler system repair company that The Plant Guys works with. I had been having trouble finding someone to repair my system. And Lauren s recommendation solved that! Their scheduling was flexible such that I had time to perform the work, and the team that arrived to unload and spread 15 yards of pine nuggets was excellent. They were knowledgeable, helpful and personable. The work was done quickly, they cleaned up after finishing and it looks tremendous. This is a company that obviously wants customers repeat business. They will have mine.

Jeff and his team did an excellent job landscaping a particularly difficult area of our yard. When I asked for some adjustment in the layout of the stone walkway, they came back quickly and took care of it! Jeff was great to work with to plan out the area and offered educated recommendations on the type of plantings that would work best for the area. You cannot go wrong using The Plant Guys for any of your landscaping needs! They are beyond the best landscape crew we have ever worked with. Polite, well mannered young men who take the time to do the best job that they can. My husband and I built our home in the South Park area some 26 years ago and it was beyond time to replace all the front and side bushes. This project has been on our bucket list of house projects for several years, never really making it to the top of the list. All the while, the bushes continued to look pretty bad. Overgrown, ragged, dead in spots and so forth. To make a long story short...we backed into ten large American boxwoods from the actual grower so we jumped on them. Through a referral, The Plant Guys came to our home yesterday and installed the ten boxwoods. What a fantastic job Nick and the guys did from start to finish! They made it seem effortless to dig the old bushes out, refurbish the soil with high quality admenments. They spent so much time measuring and lining up the boxwoods and the holes they were to be planted in. Very very impressive to say the least! We now plan on doing more yard updates and will call upon The Plant Guys again and again in the future! You cannot go wrong calling Nick and The Plant Guys!! One of the best phone calls we have made in a good long while. Thank you Guys...you are awesome!

Ive been working with TPG for 5 years now and have come to rely up on them for everything from: annual mulch work, individual planting projects, and just this past weekend a total refresh from the drab overgrown bushes in the front landscape area around the house. I recommend Nick, crew lead James and their teams including Oliver & Angelie to anyone. Their work is spot on, pricing fair and transparent, but hands down their communication and responsiveness is what I really appreciate about them. Their teams operate with respect for the property, clean up after themselves, and genuinely care about their work and exude professionalism. Did I mention they proactively check up on their work and guarantee new plants for up to a year after the project? Whats not to love? They rock.

I had a wonderful experience with The Plant Guy. They were recommended to me by Southern Styles Nursery. I had over 30 trees and shrubs installed which was an all day project. When it was completed, the trees and the shrubs were mulched and watered. The crew was professional and so pleasant to work with. I would definitely call on The Plant Guy again.

Had to update this review because as spring came around my wife and I noticed a massive oversight from the project. There was no weed barrier put in between the soil and the white rocks that were laid down in the plant beds. There are weeds absolutely everywhere. I should have thought of this but I hired this work out to experts so I wouldnt have to think about details like this. When told about the mistake, they did apologize profusely and offered to fix the problem for $1190 to cover their costs of doing so and I declined. Now instead of looking over the project and thinking about what a wonderful job they did I think of them negatively every time I am pulling up massive amounts of weeds and thats a shame.

Nick and Oliver and their team remedied a drainage issue we had in our backyard, installed a beautiful stone walkway and mulched the different areas of our backyard. They did an amazing job and were wonderful to work with. Their entire team was so hard-working, pleasant and focused on doing quality work. We highly recommend them!

We had The Plant Guys install landscaping in our backyard and redo a natural area in the front. Nick came up with a great design, taking into account the amount of sunlight, water, and drainage in different areas. Its been over a month since installation and the plants and trees are thriving. Our yard is much more relaxing and enjoyable. We plan on using them again in the future.

They were all phenomenal! We inadvertently miscounted on a couple of plants / bushes and James was able to bring them right over and the guys were even able to get them planted that same day! What a fantastic experience. The Plant Guys throughout our project communicated well, offered helpful suggestions, and delivered more than what they promised. The crew was polite and professional, and did some amazing work with a keen eye for detail. Ive had my fair share of bad experiences with contractors in the past, so this was refreshing to say the least. To be able to put our trust in their hands and be more than satisfied with the outcome is the reason Id recommend this group to any neighbor, friend, or family member.

These Guys did a wonderful job for us. They re-landscaped around the entire house (took out old and planted new shrubs), added 3 trees, excavated and installed a new drainage system (including tying into the gutter system), and mulched all the areas which needed it. They did what they said, were very involved throughout, and brought up a number of excellent ideas (plant types, etc.) along the way. We highly recommend them. Thank you Guys! Well done.

The Plant Guys did a fantastic job of helping me begin the renovation of my landscaping. Nick drew everything out and sent me pictures and descriptions of each plant along with the price of each. I changed my mind several times and he patiently did it all over again. He even sent watering instructions for the plants that I found very interesting. I was nervously anxious on the day of installation but it could not have gone smoother, even with further changes on my part. Justin and Cedrick arrived on time, were friendly and polite and did an outstanding job. My yard was completely cleaned of all debris when they left and they even watered each plant in for me. I am looking forward to having the Plant Guys make my yard beautiful again. I would highly recommend them.

I had them come out to do a 40 foot French drain of which they completed the project successfully. They unintentionally broke an irrigation line but were unaware at the time and had misdiagnosed the situation. The broken/missing irrigation line was discovered when I had to have my yard dug up for another irrigation problem several months later. When brought to their attention, they were very responsive, arrived at my door and we came to an agreement. Therefore, I have edited a previously poor review due to their professionalism, and willingness to make things right. Great team of workers with integrity and professionalism to be admired. Sorry to have misjudged them initially. Wish more were like them.

The Plant Guys did a fantastic job redesigning our back yard. It was a large project, which required several days of work and expertise. The team was extremely responsive, punctual and also respectful. I would highly recommend The Plant Guys to anyone in Charlotte based off our very positive experience!

To make a long story short, I had a little issue with the The plant guy crew but, at the end of the day it was respectfully resolved! And thats all I wanted. I see Mr. Stout treat people like he would like to be treated and I live by those rules!

Nick & his crew installed all new landscaping 2 years ago & the plants & trees are doing great. Nick will answer all my questions no matter how trivial they may be. Also love that they use all organic products. Just hired them to take care of fertilizing our yard. Show up when they say they will also.

Nick and his crew recently installed 8 Ball & Burlap trees for us. They did a great job and we were very satisfied with the whole experience. They quoted quickly and efficiently - at what we felt was a pretty fair price given the work it took. Very knowledgeable and to the point. They worked with us on the schedule to allow us to be there when we could adjust location of the trees to our liking. They showed up when they said they would - worked for 6 hours+ in 95 deg heat to complete the job - very impressed. So were my neighbors. We love the results and will have them back soon to do some more work in our yard.

James and his team worked in my yard and they were great! Very friendly team and kept me in the loop with what was happening! And in my opinion, that goes a long way!! Nick drew up professional plans and they executed them. I have and would highly recommend The Plant Guys. :)

My wife and I recently purchased 8 trees through Southern Styles Nursery. The nursery sells but doesnt install and thats where the Plant Guys come in. Nick and his crew came by to install 8 trees. I really liked that he planned well and listens to details. Before we met I called him and explained that theres a sprinkler line underneath one of the areas hed be installing a tree. He made a note of it and planned to have additional piping. Turned out that the irrigation line didnt have to be relocated but I was happy to know he had planned without wasting time to fetch parts from the hardware store. The installation went smooth and everything looks very professional! Theres no soil laying all about or mulch strewn everywhere. We dont have green thumbs in our family, and the detailed watering guide he left is valuable. Buying and installing trees is expensive, and it looks like these new family members are going to require a lot of water! The Plant Guys did a great job and I would definitely recommend their services.

The Plant Guys team has been so pleasant to work with. I had them twice at my house planting a variety of plants I bought at a nursery. Also, I needed a few small plants moved around which they do for a very reasonable price. Scheduling and follow ups are prompt. Team members that plant are so nice, focused and fast. And Nick has great customer service with his responses and follow up. I had two other friends use this company and they were just as pleased.

We needed more privacy in our backyard as the homes in our neighborhood are close together. Nick had some great ideas and gave us a detailed estimate. We found The Plant Guys knowledgeable and quick to respond to any questions we had . The bushes and trees they supplied are healthy and gorgeous. They worked fast and cleaned up after themselves even cutting a few branches off a scraggly tree out front with no extra charge! I highly recommend and will hire them again when we need more work done.

The Plant Guys have re-landscaped most of my backyard and my front yard. They have removed and replaced large hardwoods and evergreens that were planted incorrectly, overgrown or in the wrong spot. The service they provide is excellent. They return phone calls or texts, come when they say they will, and do the work they say they will do. Their landscape matched perfectly with my vision, and they recommended plants that were new to me. The plants are healthy and beautiful. When they finish a job, they clean up the work site and leave everything looking great. I will use them every time I need landscaping. Excellent!
