My parents used Jay a few months ago for a big project. We recently installed an in-ground pool and knew the landscaping would “make or break” all the hard work already done. Jay and his team did not disappoint. As many other reviews state, his knowledge and passion for all elements that comprise a beautiful yard are abundantly clear throughout the whole process. His designer, Craig, came up with a beautiful plan that gives us something to strive to over time. The work that was done is breathtaking, and that’s with it being cold and nothing being in bloom! We cannot wait to see how it evolves come Spring. Not only was the work beautiful, but Jay and his team are meticulous. They went above and beyond to make sure the yard looked perfect, even straightening areas they didn’t work on. Jay personally arranged plants several times to make sure the look was just right. His crew was polite, timely, hard working, and efficient. We’re so exciting to work with Jay on our next project!

There work is beyond beautiful. The staff were courteous and patient. The workers who did the landscaping were amazing, quick and detailed with getting everything correctly. They gave me such a beautiful front and side yard! I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to have the yard of their dreams. We contacted Jay at GK Inc. to help us create curb appeal around a large "U" shaped driveway, and along the property line at the street. We were extremely pleased with the plan that was developed, and even more pleased after it was installed. But that is only half of the story. Worthy of mention is the knowledge and passion that Jay has for this field. He understands "flow," and that you just don't drop plants in the ground and call it landscaping. His feel for what fits is unparalleled. Further, he is diligent about time tables, and is always accessible. He does not hesitate to replace or repair any issues that may come up after they have completed the job. No need to beg or hound him, he is always on the job. My wife and I would strongly recommend Jay and GK to anyone looking for a truly professional landscape design and install company.

Not in my wildest dreams did I imagine how beautiful my tricky backyard landscape could become in reality! I was hesitant to invest the money into what Jay and Craig (the architect) had designed mostly because what you see on paper is still hard to envision as reality but not only did it meet their plans but by far exceeded them. The outcome was truly a MASTERPIECE of art. I do not think there is anyone else who could have done this quality of work. We had many different contractors come and give their vision. Yes even though the cost was less, for what Jay executed, the final product is not comparable and it was well worth every penny. Jay and his team are very professional and just great to work with from start to finish. I felt completely comfortable with Jay and trusted his judgement....how refreshing. The neighbors loved the transformation too. I can't wait to see the plantings come springtime because this was done as a timely Christmas gift. He will be our forever landscape artist. I cannot recommend Jay and the Grounds Keeper team highly enough. I wish I could give them 50 stars! From the beginning Jay was directly involved in EVERY aspect of our project: working with me to define my landscaping needs; working with Craig the landscape architect to define and map out our project; coordinating the various contractors to implement our project and keeping in touch daily throughout the process to monitor progress and to tweak the plan as needed. Jay is the consummate professional and you can tell that he really, really likes (loves!) what he does. Our project involved a comprehensive landscaping makeover for our 100+ year old summer home, with an emphasis on making the outdoor space more "livable" during the summer months when we are in residence. As developed, our plan included installing a driveway, pondless waterfalls, hardy low maintenance plantings, extensive patio, pergola and lighting. We decided to break it into 2 phases: front yard (phase 1) and back yard (phase 2). The front yard project has just been completed and all I can say is that I never EVER realized how beautiful my yard could be. I initially had not thought of including a waterfall, but I sure am glad that I did. It is the centerpiece! Our neighbors have made a point of stopping by to tell us how much they love our new landscaping! I am so excited to see what magic Jay will work on our backyard next spring and look forward to spending more time outside next summer really enjoying my yard to its fullest. Jay has made me fall in love with my old house all over again!

Jay transformed our backyard into a beautiful, intricate garden oasis. We couldn't be happier. He went above & beyond to provide us the most bang for our buck - we opted for newer plantings instead of fully mature ones and were able to maximize the return. We now have the pleasure of watching our yard grow and bloom through the years. Jay is incredibly knowledgeable & passionate about landscaping and it shows.
