Had the “joy” of driving behind a company truck hauling salt with the driver on his phone (not hands free) and running a red light.

My experience with this business has been frustrating and in my opinion unprofessional. I was/am seeking a reliable, honest, and professional lawn care service. I've tried making contact with this company for 4 weeks, leaving messages and not getting a return call. I moved on. 2 weeks later, new month, I'm still looking for professionals, look up businesses online and lawn stars pops up. I had forgotten the name of the company and called again. I finally got someone, I am going to assume she was the office manager. Took my info, said she'd get back to me the following day when I hadn't heard from her I called back. She seemed flustered, unorganized, and frankly flippant about not returning my call. This IS a professional business right? I was asked a series of questions, which was expected, and asked in my opinion a question that should not have been asked because it seems disingenuous that I won't post here, along with a ridiculous request to provide some information that the lawn team should have been able to gather. I was told I'd get a return phone call, its been 2 days...crickets! I never got an estimate, I was never told if they could do the work I needed done, and was rushed through the process. No! As a business owner I get it that some days we can be "off ", we're human, but to be consistent in dropping the ball and turning away clientele=$$$ is just plain ignorance and frankly unprofessional. Integrity, honesty, and professional behaviors builds longevity and a rapport you want with the public, I did not get the impression any of that was important from the office manager or lady I spoke with. So, now I'm off again to try and find a professional company who cares about their potential clients to provide me with lawn care services. Wish me luck 🙏 IN RESPONSE: Although I see you've tried to save face based on this review, and that you have an idea who wrote it.... there is NO excuse for the unprofessional manner my call was handled. There is no excuse for not articulating what you tried to eloquently to state here during our phone conversation. I indicated that there was a senior in the home and those who are disabled, there was no empathy shown. I do not care what your policies are requesting the name of who previously mowed the lawn, it's not any of your concern. I was seeing if I wanted YOUR BUSINESS TO DO IT. That should have been YOUR only concern. Lastly, let's get this straight, I REJECTED your potential service. Not the other way around. I phoned you at 11am. You didn't call back until AFTER I provided the review, at 8am the next morning, exactly what I KNEW you would do. Let's just stop with the "clean up", take your loss, admit your unprofessional behavior and that you need a HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER to assist you in creating a better image, and providing better customer service. I have a master's degree in HRM, are you hiring?

So impressed with their lawn service, customer service and especially their fall leaf clean-up. So thankful for Lawn Stars!

Mid Michigan Lawns Stars are the stars of mowing and lawn care services. I have used three mowing services over the last 10 years and Lawn Stars are head and shoulders above any of the lawn services I have used. They are professionals that take pride in the work they do and it shows. My lawn is cut, edged and left with no grass clippings laying around anywhere. Lawn Stars has been taking care of my lawn for many years. The attention to detail that Josh and his team put into their work is always appreciated. This year I was especially happy with my spring cleanup. During the winter gravel had been spread all over my driveway from all of the plowing and shoveling that had been done. I was dreading having to clean it up myself, as I have a large driveway. I was pleasantly surprised when I came home from work and found that the guys had cleaned it all up at the same time that they did the yard! I highly recommend Lawn Stars!
