Its 4:36pm after 8 inches of snow, Degree Landscaping still has not plowed our condo parking lots

First of all, It starts with Rocky who has designed out landscaping beds and stays in touch to help us determine the work we need. Then there is Jennifer, who answers the phone and helps us with any information or requests that we need. The ground crew is great. They are friendly and stop to talk with either my wife or myself. They have asked how are they doing. They do a great job, the grass is cut, trimmed and it looks great. They will ask if there is anything else they can do. I have recommended them to my neighbors and friends.

We have always received good service from Degree Lawn. However, the last service we received was for LC2 blanket spray and LC3 Late Spring. This service has been provided in the middle of May. It was disappointing to not receive it until almost the middle of June since the first service was March 28 this year. We hope the rest of the service is more timely this year.

We had a large project with overgrown bushes that needed to be removed, 3 landscape walls that had seen better days, a large area where we wanted river rock versus mulch and a much needed spring clean up. Jason had some really good suggestions/recommendations for us. The team did a really nice job! They were very thoughtful in how they worked and now our yard looks so much better. I ve been really happy with Degree.

The work they did was done well with the exception of a couple things. An area that was supposed to be mulched was not and one of the plants was in the wrong place according to the design we have. We have called the office twice and they must not be able to get in touch with the manager that oversees the job. He will not answer his phone nor will he return calls. Terrible communication. This was a small job so I guess we don t get the same respect as someone who is paying 20,000 for landscaping. I would not recommend Degree. They did not communicate with us before or after the job, you can call the office but she is very unhelpful and does not care. Not the way you want to be treated.

Good job with courteous employees. No ccomplaints! First time I have not ccut the lawn myself and I appreciat the trimming that is done routinely.

Had a great experience, they were one time and provided a quote quickly with pictures. No surprises.

It has been mostly good. Recently they did a better job weed eating the edges near the mulch. That was looking kind of bad. I would like them to take a little extra care along the fence line in the back. There is some rather tall grass on one side.

Degree Lawn has been an efficient and reliable way to get good lawn care. I have used spring clean up and fall trimming and clean up. It was all good but a little high priced for me. I have no complaints however I do wish they would remove fallen branches as they come across them. Overall, I am satisfied.

It was a pleasure working with Degree. Professional, responsive and completely good at communication with our wishes and requests. We re using them again for future lawn maintenance and cleanup.

The Degree team did a great job refreshing our playground area. Cleaned out all the weeds while saving our rubber mulch, added new weed mat and stone border.

After Degree did some reseeding and straw I was not pleased with the way my lawn turned out. Rocky agreed to reseed and straw even though it is generally not covered by a warrantee. This is why we are faithful Degree customers. They have done other great work for us in the past.

I was very pleased with recent tree removal service by Degree. I was able to submit pictures of the already dead trees that needed to be removed, eliminating the need for an extra appointment. I found their quote to be very reasonable. Rocky visited my home a few days prior to the work being done in order to have a firsthand understanding of what would be needed and my preferences. The workers arrived on time the day of the appointment and were quick, professional, and cleaned up very well after themselves. I would recommend Degree to anyone for their lawn care needs, and will not hesitate to use them in the future as needed!

I had multiple rear flower beds extended and they cleaned up another one. Rocky and his team did a WONDERFUL job. They were on time, did exactly what I was looking for, and cleaned the yard as if they were never there. HIGHLY recommend.

I needed to replace the grass in my front yard. I had Nimblewill weed and it s extremely hard to get rid of. They did an excellent job and my yard looks absolutely beautiful. The service and the guys that did the install were extremely professional and did excellent work.

I was satisfied with the work. One of the plants seemed not in good health. Will see what happens with it in the spring. The rest of the plants and the landscaping works were done nicely.

This is a professional local company that cares about it s customers and the work they do. We won t use another lawn care company!

Great company, friendly staff and crews, very professional. Ive used both Degree for residential services and business services. Both have been really great. There were some issues on the residential side early on with area of the yard not getting mowed, but Jason helped to get those resolved quickly. When it comes to mulching, there are definitely some crews that are better than others, so as long as you do a good lookover before calling it complete, then you should be fine.

Rocky seems most interested in racking up his commission than giving a fair estimate. Nearly 5k in the proposal for work that ll be completed in a day or two. If you want to spend all your money come here but if you want good quality and a amazing price go to Chuc s Landscaping.

I have been using Degree for a few years now, and they have been phenomenal to work with. Any time I have any issues or concerns, I get an IMMEDIATE response from Jennifer. Shes truly wonderful and many service providers could take some good notes on providing stellar customer service consistently. The crew who comes out to perform the services have also always been friendly and responsive when I have asked them questions regarding work that was being performed and any time I have noted that they missed or overlooked something, they jump right on it without the usual huff and puff or eye rols lthat I have received from other companies. They even agreed to let my dog come out and meet them so she would stop barking after not seeing them since last summer! For all of these reasons, and especially Jennifers treatment and care, I honestly havent even bothered to shop around or compare prices with other lawn services. They really are THAT good!

Degree has been our lawn care provider for years, but last weekend they really proved their value. Our daughter s HS graduation party was scheduled, and they were able to mow our lawn just in time; even with all the rain delays throughout the week. In addition, the lead mower even helped us move tables in the yard so he could complete the entire yard. Degree went over and above for us, and we appreciate the great service!

Overall I think 2.5 but I was nice and rounded up to 3. Landscaping: Degree landscaping met my expectations in some aspects and not others. The crew working was very friendly and accommodating. The walking path and edging stones looks great when finished !! I was a little disappointed in grass coming up with 1 ½ weeks after the landscaping beds where finished with new mulch. It appeared that the pre-emergent to stop grass/weeds was not applied at all or well enough. Also, some of the transplants died immediately despite my regular watering. So I am not sure if potting soil w/ nutrients was forgotten or what happened. In either case, Degree does offer to fix their mistakes right away and/or credit. They are friendly and easy to work with. The key is to be there as they are working to make sure nothing is missed because in everything they do, they are in and out quickly. That is usually a good thing but not always. I would say even after a few credits, I still came up a little short based on the work I have had to put in. Lawn Care: Although they were too expensive, they did overseed and aerate very well. They also do a great job on the lawn mowing quality. However there s been times when they would have missed the mowing if I didn t call them several times. If it wasn t for that I d give them a 5 on the yard. Update 7/4: I ended up going with a different mower. Degree left me hanging after a raining week too many times where I was the tallest grass in the neighborhood. I switch to a service that was reliably mowing the other neighbors.

Tell your team to learn to park the trucks. Blocking driveways when there is no need cause they dont want to walk 20 extra steps is not ok. FIX YOUR DRIVERS AND CREW or Im hitting the truck and you can explain to the cops why you parked like that illegally even after talking to a family member and seeing that the location they picked is bad lol terrible crew

Degrees staff was on time and responsive when visiting our home and getting us a timely quote for fertilization and over seeding. They crews came on schedule and followed up well. Well be using them in the future!

Lawn cut quality was horrible. They obviously do not sharpen their mower blades, and grass was shredded. Lawn went from lush green to dull cast brown within 2 weeks (not due to lack of rain either). Will take weeks of restoration to improve. Also left tire marks gouged into turf with heavy brown, dead patches where the mower wheels pivoted. Absolutely no care was taken to preserve beauty of the lawn. Emailed complaint but received no response. I m very disappointed and would not recommend Degree to a friend.

Even though Degree is paid through our HOA they are very receptive to individual homeowners. They listen and respond to individual needs.

Degree did another great job on my yard this year, I have no complaints.

Degree has done a good job on the weekly maintenance but we paid for them to aerate, flatten and seed our lawn in the spring and it was not a good experience. They missed mass areas of the lawn with their seeding and coverage. We had to call them back out and we had to mark everything instead of them sending out a team to review their poor work. Then their weekly service kept driving over the areas that were being seeded so grass never grew. Paid over $1,000 that is now basically a throw away and will have to find a new company to take care of it next spring.

I have struggled to find a lawn service that provides quality work and who is responsive in a professional manner. Jennifer, who is in the office, is always very quick to respond. Rocky, who came out to give estimates for weed control and mulching was professional, answered my many questions and the weed control and mulching was completed as estimated and very neat - such a relief! I did have some dissatisfaction with the mowing team - always mowed in same direction and did not consistently trim in back. 2nd time I brought this up, Rocky came out to survey - explained that some areas in back difficult to trim but acknowledged areas that were accessible needed to be improved, Jennifer removed charge and work has been very good since. I anticipate using them next season

I was in the process of getting estimates from different companies. For what I asked the value was on point and their follow-up has been nothing but professional. I will absolutely use them again and have referred them to my friends and family.

I ve used them for years for weed control. 3 months after they started there wasn t a weed to be found in my yard. I have also asked them to mow when my mower was broken and when I was on vacation. They take care of my leaves every fall because there are too many for too handle. Once when my dog got fleas they got and sprayed my yard for fleas as special order. They are very easy to deal with and provide good value.

They do a good job but rarely trim the fence line.

Dont be that house in your neighborhood. My yard has been a disaster area for years because I did not have the ability to care for it properly. This year I decided to have an expert get it back on track. The difference has been nothing less than stunning! I will continue using them year after year. My absolute number one choice!

I had an existing landscape bed re-designed as it had aged out. I am pleased with the outcome and happy with the plants they chose to replace my old plants. I had river rock installed around my pool pump and also under virburnum bushes that were close to my inground pool. This was to eliminate mulch getting in my pool. They also re-positioned some existing limestone pavers, and also installed one large new piece to replace a stone that had cracked over the years. Next spring they will trim all of my plants, add several new roses in the front beds (other than the one they redid now) and will mulch the front and bag yard. The entire process was smooth and on time. I am very pleased with the response time and especially like that they are a local company.

Great dependable company. Been with them since 2011. They work at customer needs and good relationships. Even though I got another new Mow Team this year they have been doing a great job and are easy to work with. Yesterday my Leaf Removal Team was tireless clearing my yard and garden, full of leaves. Looked so nice as they pulled away, but Mother Nature left another sprinkling overnight. Its that time of year. LOL I would recommend Degree to anyone looking for a company with integrity and good solid service.

Horrible customer service, called day one Jack said would be out to give estimate;n no call no show, I called again asking for estimate no return call from Jack, tried 3 more days still no response back. No way to run a business. I know think his employee was correct when he said Jack paid non customers for good reviews, where before I just thought it was a disgruntled employee.

Ive been using Degree for years for fertilizing and related jobs. They show up when theyre supposed to and do the routine tasks well. However, they do not always respond promptly to a request for a quote or to address a problem, and I need to email or call multiple times to get their attention. For example, last year a number of brown and yellow areas appeared, which of course I was not happy about because I pay Degree to keep the lawn nice. I didnt see this problem with any of the neighbors lawns After a couple of phone calls they came to look, didnt have an explanation, and suggested I call an outside expert they recommended. When I told them I am paying them and the lawn is their responsibility, not that of an outside expert, they did come back reseed some spots. But this year the brown areas reappeared, and this occurred before the recent hot, dry spell. Degree needs to make more effort to ensure customer satisfaction, not just go through the motions of the routine tasks.

Just started using Degree this year for weekly maintenance and have been very impressed. Come every week like clock work. Mow, trim, clean up and it looks great! Have started to get some ideas from them for future projects too. They will be our lawn crew for years to come.

Great customer service. Ive used them twice to spruce up our front yard landscape. I was given great ideas (knowledgeable) and they were able to get me serviced not very quickly, but as promised (honest). The administrative staff was responsive and helpful. I was pleased to choose them a second time.

Rocky was great getting us the bid and design in a timely fashion. He also took the time to answer any questions and keep communication with us. The work was done as soon as possible and they left the property better than how it was found. You saved our yard by fixing our drainage issue at a reasonable price and without a 3 month waiting period. Had some landscaping done in our front yard, the rocks were not exactly what we thought they would be as they are bigger than we thought but did a good job at installing them. One plant arrived dead it appeared but after calling our sales guy back he had it replaced.

Degree has been wonderful to work with and done an amazing job on our yard! We ve used them to mulch, cut fresh borders, trim bushes, aerate and overseed! They even did a couple of weeks cutting the grass while our mower was in the shop. The workmanship is beautiful, and everyone is courteous and helpful! Getting estimates and scheduling is easy with their great office staff! Degree has made a big difference in our landscaping and yard! By far, the best lawn and landscape service we have ever used!

Weve been very happy with our service from Degree. We have small children and occasionally have a toy or two in the yard and they are very careful to check and move toys.

Degree broke the hinge on my gate, broke fence pickets on a fence I had just repaired, left huge bald patches on my yard with the equipment, and constantly left debris on my porches and trash cans. Though I requested the items to be repaired, no one ever fixed anything. I ended up paying a contractor $150 to fix my gate and fence and had to fix the bald patches myself. I now use The Turf Tailor and they are doing a great job.

Reasonably Priced, good quality service, and timely. This is our first season using them and they do a great job at maintaining our yard. They set us up and had our yard mowed within a week. They also do landscaping among other things that I might utilize next season.

I was out admiring our lawn the other day which is weird for me. But I just noticed how green and healthy it looks. Degree Lawn has done our yard for several years. I (in some weird way) enjoy mowing the grass, but I use Degree for my lawn care (fertilizing, weed control, etc.). We have no weeds or dandelions and lawn is so thick. We have had other companies come out and spray which just wilts the weeds for a day then they are back. Degree seems to have the special sauce that goes down and kills the weeds. Whatever they use, it works. If you like mowing but need help making your yard look nice, give them a call!

I moved to the area this summer and Degree came highly recommended to me. Their lawn cutting services are done on the same day every week and the additional services of the core aeration and fertilization really improved the thickness and color of the lawn. I recently contacted Kevin, the manager for my area to give me an explanation of my landscape plantings and their care and maintenance. I was very impressed with his knowledge of all the varieties of bushes and perennials on my property and willingness to explain what I need to do to maintain the beds myself. I had him quote a fall clean up and the price was very reasonable. He was also flexible with the scheduling, so I could observe the work being done.
