Loy s, Jacob and their Crew designed and delivered a great landscape design for us! Honest, dependable you should definitely consider them!

Loys did some landscaping for me a few months ago and we came across a few hitches. Loys was extremely sincere in wanting to make sure that customer satisfaction is realized on all projects. All issues have been resolved in a friendly and timely manner. It is refreshing to see this quality of customer care!

Update... January 2022. While Loys did a great job on our first request, when we called them back to do more, it took a bunch of phone calls to reach them and when we finally got them to contact us back, they told us it would be months before they could help us. In the end, they never called us back for the service. We finally went with another local service that was much cheaper, was able to provide the same services, and who would actually call us back when we contacted them. ****************************************************************************** Loy s Landscaping did a fantastic job on our landscaping. They were very professional. On their first visit they laid out a workable design and let us know in detail the final cost before they even began. We found the employees very easy to work with and the end result exceeded our expectations. We will certainly use them for any future landscaping needs and highly recommend them to others.

Called for an estimate. Waited nearly 2 weeks for Jacob to come out. He walked the property, gave me a rough estimate, said he was 3-5 weeks out, but would send an estimate by email. Never heard from him again.

We couldnt be happier with the outcome of our project. Thomas came out and I gave him my vision of a walkway and steps down into my yard ending at a patio and fire pit with columns and lighting. He took my ideas and expounded upon them, telling me he loved to work with a blank canvas while sketching on his tablet...and by the end of the day I received an animated fly-thru of my project that went way beyond my expectations. I couldnt say no. When it came time for the project to come to life, Hayden and his crew came out and made our dreams a reality...Hayden was awesome and made sure every detail was perfect, taking the time to explain the process and answer all of my questions. Props to Hayden and his crew...they are the best and the results of Haydens final product are a true reflection of his dedication to this company, his craft and the complete satisfaction of his clients! **UPDATE** We used Loys for a fall cleanup, and they did a great job. However we called them back in the spring, and it was not a great experience. Cleaning two flower beds cost nearly $800 for a mediocre job. Ridiculously overpriced. We went with another local company and they completed our very large property for just over $2500. 10/10 job. Loys would have been close to $10k if they continued on that pace. Not okay. This company has potential, but be careful before using them and know that they get expensive extremely fast.

The Loy s team transformed our backyard. After many years of neglect, it was basically unusable when we bought the house. Loy s helped us come up with a custom design and built us a gorgeous space we are in love with. The hardscaping (patio and fire pit) is top quality and they selected beautiful plants, as well as installed sod for a compete makeover of the space. It was not inexpensive but worth every penny. Jake was an excellent project manager, very responsive and just pleasant to be around. His personal commitment to the success of our project was obvious and is a huge part of why we are so pleased with the overall outcome.

Stopped by office, made appt with lady in office. She said Jacob would come by the following week at the appointed date/time. Heard nothing before meeting time, no one showed up, no followup, nothing. NOT calling again nor recommending this business!!

They wont even pick up the phone

I called them for a landscaping project and was told they were not taking any new business for an entire year. Disappointed since I had lots of work that I wanted done.

Loy s installed a hardscape driveway, front walk, and landscape design for my wife and I. We were provided with exceptional customer service, extremely nice employees, and the job turned out beautifully. I will most definitely use Loy s in the future and highly recommend their services.

We had no landscaping experience at all when Jacob met with us to discuss design and plant selection. He had very creative ideas and patiently answered all of our many questions. He asked questions himself and listened to our answers. It took a little while for us to decide what we wanted and we ended up splitting the job into phases, but throughout that process he remained patient and professional. Once the decisions were made, the job was done quickly and Jacob was in constant communication to make sure we were happy with everything. I can highly recommend this company based on our experience. They were honest and thorough, and the finished product is beautiful and better than we imagined. Looking forward to seeing everything in bloom this spring!

Great job done by this company! I needed privacy trees planted at my home. Spoke with Thomas on Friday and he had a crew there Monday installing my new privacy trees. The guys worked hard and got it done in a day. Will definitely be using them for future services. Bravo!

Great landscaping company. Replaced all our old lava rock with river rock and another area with mulch. Very satisfied with the end result.

We purchased a newly built home in October 2020 and needed a good amount of landscaping done to prevent erosion. Home is on the side of a steep hill. Thomas gave us a few options and found a way to buildup our backyard within our budget. When the rainy season finally ended and they could get started, his team absolutely knocked it out of the park! We were expecting them to be here for a week or more. Hayden, Francisco and the rest of the guys did a fantastic job in only 3 days. We hope to use them again for the front yard.

Thomas brought our idea to life with new concepts, detailed plans, and quality products, then site manager Jacob and his team professionally transformed our simple backyard into an amazing outdoor gathering spot! Jacob communicated frequently throughout the process and always seemed to enjoy his work. He even took time to say hi or wave back to our grandson as the guys work. Thomas made sure our plans were being met and adjusted as necessary. We loved working with the Loys team and recommend their service.

Loy s exceeded our expectations! From the meeting to discuss our wants, to the computer generated design, to the kind workers, to the final dream come true, we were blown away! Each day, the crew led onsite by Jacob, were meticulous as they left no tedious detail untouched. Jacob, Jake, and Chris cleaned up each day, were punctual the next morning, and were so friendly. We were given updates daily and asked daily if it was meeting our expectations. These guys were phenomenal! My only regret is that we didn t do this sooner! Whatever your vision, they will exceed it! We used Thomas and his staff to design and install all of the landscaping (including lighting) and sod at our new home. The design and installation were superb! Loys Lawn Care and Landscaping does an excellent job taking care of our lawn. They cut our grass, trim, seed, fertilize, apply grass/weed treatments and aerate our lawn each year. The yard looks beautiful when they are finished with each visit. The equipment they use does an outstanding job and the cutting pattern is awesome. The grass looks wonderful and we could not be more please with the quality of work, the courtesy of the employees, and our experience with them. The employees are very patient and willing to accommodate the desires of their customers and are very thorough and detailed in their work. Their contracts with customers are tailored to the needs of the lawn/customer. Our lawn looks simply beautiful and we highly recommend them to others.

You get what you pay for. Bottom line. Loy s landscaping did a four day job for my family and at the end of each day the crew made sure that everything was picked up, cleaned up and presentable. At the completion of the job we had a beautiful landscaping that exceeded the expectations of the initial design that was provided to us. Often times, especially in today s world, people do not take pride in their work. Thankfully this crew was presentable, kind, efficient and most importantly they took pride in their work. This is a local business with a strong and motivated owner and I think his bottom line is to make sure that each customer is pleased.

The work well justified a 5 star rating. Thomas computer design was very helpful and he was flexible with design tweaks. His 4-man crew was very professional and hard working. Project was finished on time. Landscaping plants, river rock, and wall look great. We are very pleased.

The design was great ,the small retaining wall turned out fantastic and plant/ tree section was just as planned.They added 2 ft of river rock on both sides of the driveway.The out come was just like the layout...quality work at a great price.The crew is great...from start to finish Forman on the job was great with the start to the finish...quality work at a good price

I had a nightmare of a problem when an old retaining wall collapsed onto my driveway early one morning. Loys Lawncare was not only the first response I got on Porch, they were the best. After a quick consultation, Thomas Loy and his band of badasses had my old wall, or what was left of it, broke apart, hauled off and a new wall - complete with proper drainage (ask me just how important that is) made of the finest stone material available on the open market within three short days. The whole team was very professional, they kept me up to date on the details of the work throughout the process and were able to work such a large job in a tight boundary as the driveway is shared with the neighboring house. Big jobs or small jobs.... Loy s Lawn Care is the best for anything you need at a great price! Big job: I had river front brush growth they cleared, leveled ground and planted me a brand new lawn! Small job: Simple regular lawn care on a weekly basis... so nice to have professionals make my place look great! I highly recommended this company! Reliable and fair! I live in a cove on Ft. Loudon Lake. As many lake lots, mine is a rather steep slope to the lake. Also the neighboring properties slope toward mine. As a result Ive had years of problems with water drainage and erosion. The result was that my cinder block seawall was beginning to lean toward the lake and lake front trees have grown out so much grass was difficult to grow. My lake front was a mud hole! I needed help. I asked Thomas Loy to give an estimate. My #1 goal was to control water drainage, stop erosion, and save my seawall. If it looked pretty, that would be a bonus. Thomas came to my house, listened to my concerns and goals and immediately began telling me his ideas. He is quite the visionary. As he described to me his ideas I became excited about the possibilities. Then he sent me an animated video of the finished product. I was sold. When the work began with his 4 man crew I watched in amazement. Thomas and crew are real professionals. Plus they were very likable and courteous people. He was here some of every day to be sure things went as planned. As the infrastructure went in, I could begin to see more clearly how the water drainage would be managed. I was beginning to feel some relief that my problems would be solved. Next came the landscaping and .....pine mulch, ferns, hostas, other shade tolerant plants, boulders, patio, firepit and lights. My mud hole became a fantasy land! I was excited. Once finished with the job there were a couple of glitches, as could be expected. All I had to do was text Thomas and someone would appear the next morning to fix it. The final product was much more than I ever expected. Absolutely, NO REGRETS! I would hire this company again without hesitation. They do good work and they are dependable and easy to work with. Nothing was done without first consulting/informing me.

We hired Loys to build my dream backyard oasis. They did an amazing job constructing our outdoor fire pit and patio. Its the perfect outdoor living space. We just LOVE our new area. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical at first because of the youthful age of the owner and wondered if we should go with a more experienced company. Just started having Loy s do mowing and weed wacking a long drainage ditch around our property. I thought the ditch would take forever the first time (very overgrown), but the work, including mowing, went so fast it was unbelievable! Second time I had a special request and it was handled quickly without any problem. The crew is great and I know we can depend on them in the future. So there comes a time in ones life that they just cant get the lawn, shrubs, or trees the way that stands out after hiring various lawn services. What began 7 years ago to have our 10K sq. ft. yard looking the way we wanted we are now more than pleased. Having contacted Loys Lawn Care it became evident from the beginning that Thomas Loy was 100% dedicated with ensuring Product, Price, Place, and Promotion was perfect! Not that customer satisfaction was not paramount but truly from concept phase, tear out (removal of existing bushes, trees, shrubs, weeds), foliage installation, rock, lights, to completion he and his crew worked through literally all kinds of weather and transformed our landscape. I can think of no other single service that exceeded our every expectation when it comes to our lawn and landscape. When I think of it that in itself says a lot!!

Mr. Loy did exactly what he promised. He was on time and completed the aeration to my front yard in a timely matter. I did alot of research before deciding to go with Loys Lawn Care and Landscaping.
