Nice store and helpful people, I just wish they had hours that allowed me to come in without having to take off work.
Wow customer service was absolutely 💯. Couldn't believe how great my experience was. Had a young lady great me quickly. I needed several things from several spots. She quickly helped me through entire store. Can't say enough. This was true old school service. Wow 👌
I love this store & the people who work there. I also like the new store... However, I wish they would hire someone to make a proper web site where you can view more about their available products. I always start "on line" for everything & on-line sites often offer shipping & price deals. Even on large items. I still shop Hamptons but I do wish they had a decent website...
New location. I didn't have time to go in but can't wait to explore. Where the old motel was right off 44. Nice huge parking lot. Looks like new name too, Hampton Ace Hardware
They were already the best hardware in town and now even better in the new store! I used too have to make a lot of trips to Lowes and Westlake hardware in Springfield but Hamptons started carrying a lot of fasteners a few years ago and that helped a lot. Now, in the new store, they have even more! They truly know what it takes to own and manage a great store. Always well stocked, organized and clean. Thank you guys!
Absolutely love this place, great customer service and their always willing to help you out!… I can not wait until they open their new store, really excited! If you can’t find it nowhere else in town ( which you generally WILL NOT… including the all infamous Orchielns ) I guarantee you’ll find it here, if not go alllllll the way to Springfield ( no thank you ) they even have many sprinklers too! Price is no problem when it comes to “CONSTANTLY” having what one needs.👍🏻Thanks a bunch for all you do! You save me from headaches, extra expenses and run around!

I bought my cub cadet utv side by side about five years ago and they take great care with servicing it. Im short...4 ' 11" so they even put in a raised wood platform so my feet will be able to rest instead of dangling while driving. Still runs like a top too by the way...and I drive it nearly everyday. Since then, we've bought a 360 degree turn lawnmower with same excellent results...they also have fixed and serviced our chainsaws and woodspliters. Doug Hampton is just the best person to do business with. We also visit his parents' pumpkin patch and corn maze outside Elkland Mo. every year with our extended family. Locally owned family business is the way to go!!

Looking for PVC pipe they didnt have what I needed purchased a couple of item and paid for them and left.

I love the fact of low cost on compost and mulch. They service all my mowers. They really know what they are doing? I bought a mower there 20 years ago and it still going! Very friendly people. I highly recommend them for your lawn needs and more.

Best place around for all your law care needs! They have Grasshopper zero turn mowers, you cant go wrong these bad boys. What I love the most about this place is if you just want to fix what you have, they have Techs who can get them running again.

They are well stocked and knowledgeable if you are in need of parts related to mowers chainsaws and more. Friendly staff, works hard to get you in and out.
Make sure you get the self tapping bolts and not use the originals for cub cadet pulley and spindles, because they are not self tapping. They cant figure out why people keep coming back to get the bolts for some reason.

They picked up my mower to work on it. Two weeks and $300 dollars later my mower still isnt working. Its not even starting now! When I called the day after they dropped it off they were very rude to me on the phone and said I would have to pay again to have them look at my riding lawn mower. Very unhappy with their customer service. I do not recommend using them for any issues with your lawn mower or any equipment for that matter

Love this place! Just bought a new lawnmower and received kind and courteous customer service from John, who was more than happy to fill er up, give her a courtesy start to make sure she started properly. He even adjusted the idle and loaded it into my truck. Ill be coming back again and again!

As a landscaper in Marshfield I cant express enough appreciation to have a lawn & Garden/Stihl dealer so close by. Its great to be able to get mulch/rock & any other landscape supplies or tools when I need them. Store staff has always been helpful & friendly!
Terrible customer service. Hampton s would not allow me to return or exchange an unused rope that was not the right size for my needs. A once loyal customer will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

I was having trouble with my walk-behind push mower (purchased elsewhere) and the closest servicing dealer was is Nixa, MO. I wanted my business to stay local, so I called Hampton Lawn & Garden and asked if they would take a look. Not only did they fix the mower, but they were also able to pick-up and deliver the mower, as I dont own a truck. Doug, Max (and one other person whose name escapes me) were very professional and kind through the whole process. Luckily I bought my trimmer and blower from them (Stihl), and they both run perfectly. When it comes time to purchase a lawnmower, I will be buying from Hampton Lawn & Garden.
When I walked in the door I was amazed by the STIHL product selection. They had everything that I would ever need for any STIHL machine. I felt welcomed the entire visit. The owners and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Awesome place!!
Dishonest. Told me bill for repairing my mower was $96.21 then charged $157.00. I complained about them destroying my gas cap and then charging me $35.00 for a GAS CAP. Doug threatened to remove me from his property until I called the police. Then he got really mad and started yelling over me into my phone at the police so I left, never to return again. In my opinion Doug is dangerous and caution should be used by anyone getting near him. After purchasing a chainsaw and a weed eater from Hamptons I was content to let them service my Craftsman mower and all my small engines. After the show Doug put on today I will never return to his business.
