I decided to stop in before I headed to the big box stores to get what I needed for my lawn tractor. I am so grateful now that I did. I received a far superior battery than what I could’ve purchased at Lowe’s or Menards for the same amount of money. Also, they suggested I re tube my flat tractor tire rather than purchasing a new one. The owner not only explained to me why it went flat to begin with, but how to take it off and put it back on. His advice made all of the difference—and “how to advice” is something I would never get from the box stores. They have all my business in the future. I wish I could give more stars ⭐️

Great small engine repair shop. Very knowledgeable professional and reliable service. Honest assessments of necessary repairs and reasonable prices. Stanely Lawn & Garden also has a small showroom of new Lawnmowers, Chainsaws, Weed Trimmers, and many other Lawn care products for sale. Over the last 30 years plus, I have purchased a few new Lawnmowers and have had alot of lawn equipment serviced and repaired by Stanley Lawn and Garden, including a couple of Chainsaws. They have always done a good job and have been priced very reasonable. Turn around on service is usually quick, but can get longer in the summer season. I definitely recommend them as a business of choice in their field.
Greg Stanley is honest and his mechanics are very good. They get things done on time and tell you the waiting time if they are backed up. They have always done a good annual service for our lawn tractor. 😀
I called at the beginning of July to get two leaf blowers looked at. I was put on a wait list and was told it would not take longer than 6 weeks to get them fixed. I called today, over two months later, to be told that there are 20 people ahead of me on the wait list!? Don't give people any kind of time frame if you don't know when or if you will even get to them. This is unprofessional and dishonest. They won't get to me this year at all and definitely not when I need them for leaves in the fall. I now have to go elsewhere to be put on another wait list. Thanks for nothing. You lost all future business from my family.
Loved it, my new motor all installed in my grasshopper, they did a great job.! Just had the Alice Chalmers tractor motor rebuilt over winter, fabulous work. Stanley lawn and garden has been working on my lawn tractors and zero radius machines since 1975, If you want the best job done take it to them. Looking for a new saw or mower go here.
Outstanding people and awesome service. Helped me with a new mower and sold my old mower for me. Have been doing business with them for years and will continue to do so in the future. Would recommend them to anyone who wants a honest deal with a personal touch.

Please be weary. I have taken a zero turn mower and fixed with no issues. Labor cost is more than to labor cost at a car dealership. I know. I retired from a franchise dealer with 25 years experience. My personal issue is and it s a little sketchy from Stanley s. I took a Stihl backpack blower to the shop. Fixed the carburetor and ran $90. Ok, no issue. Took it home and would not start. Called the shop. Greg said to bring it in. 2 days after paying $90. It needed a ignition coil. Ok, not a problem. Greg called and said the part would be $40 from the Stihl dealer and $20 labor. Total $60. It would also be a good week till the part is in. I did not want to wait so I purchased the ignition coil and delivered 2 days later to the shop. The coil was replaced and received a call from Greg and asked how much so I know when to pick it up. He said $34 in labor. I asked him when I picked up the blower and got a bunch of BS of how hard it was to replace. It s 5 screws roughly to replace. I wanted to give him the business since he did me well on the mower and carburetor. At the first call I assumed $20 in labor. If I would have known $34 I would have done it myself. The bad business part is I don t even have a invoice of work done. Just a copy from my credit card. Very bad business and very bad business practices. Don t quote someone $20 and them pull there chain to get $34 with no record of the work. I like the business but I won t be back. Greg quoted me on my zero turn mower, carburetor and I paid what he quoted me. Since I did not get the part through Stanley s the price changed. Greg! Please be a man of your word. Honer the price quoted. You lost my business and I ll be sure to let everyone I know what had happened.

My go to place for lawn mower parts and repair. Just fixed my old tiller and it works great.
I have brought my rototillers, snow throwers, lawn mowers and chain saws to Greg and his crew for years. Hes always upfront as to what the problems are and Ive never had a bad experience. Ive since moved 20 miles further but still drive out of my way to go to Stanleys. Worth the drive.
