Had what I needed at a fair price

They have made changes in their operations, and not for the better. I had used them when it was still Davis, had their practices been the Davis way, I woukd have a 5 atar unstead of a one star. Their practices are different and not in a way that is meant keep their customers. One person I know requested a belt for their mower and tols them what it is doing, asking questions so they knew cost to estimate for repairs. The person refused to sell a belt saying the problem was a clutch. They had an exchange of words. The new guy insisted a belt wouldn't help and didn't make the sell for even the belt. It ended up being a spring in addition to a belt (had to be bought elsewhere for refusal to sell it) that was needed for that instance. On mine: I've been a customer who had their mowers and chainsaws brought in, in the past. I will no longer use this place. This last call: I needed troubleshooting work done. When I spoke to them they said it had a spliced harness. The harness is not the issue. I have alreafy had it looked at. So I requested they overlook that and move on for money reasons. That they move along in that process. They refused to move on in the troubleshooting process until that "expensive" fix is made. I was trying to keep coasts low. They made it very clear they woukd not move on and it would be costly. Their current practices are not that of a business trying to keep long term customers.

Very knowledgeable and friendly. We're very patient with my multiple phone calls! Got my mower back and it works like brand new! Thanks for all your hard work!

A little expensive but they get your lawn equipment up and ready to work for u.

Do all my repairs on my equipment I trust their quality of work they do on my chainsaws and other equipment I own

They're part service its good but there mechanics will try and make more stuff wrong with it and wont fi it right the first time.

I was able to acquire the parts necessary to do my own repairs on my chainsaw and trimmer. The guys at Davis seem to know what they're doing and seem to stay busy at it. I would recommend Davis lawn equipment and I know several others that would as well.
