Although scheduling was a challenge, the staff that serviced our system was tremendous. Miguel the tech for Antico was punctual, informative, very skilled and a true gentleman. I highly recommend their irrigation services!!!

Such nice people! Miguel was here yesterday to turn on the sprinkler system after being off for the Winter, and he also had to re-adjust all 37 sprinklers since we recently had a pressure-reduction valve installed in the house. It was a big job, but no complaints. He kept checking with me to be sure i was satisfied and what timings i wanted for the automatic irrigation -- makes me so happy we bought the very-affordable 5-year maintenance plan. August, 2023: Logan was here for regular maintenance and was so kind and patient with me as we fine-tuned many of the sprinkler heads to minimize over-shoot and make sure coverage was still full. Such wonderful people!

Our sprinkler system was updated this morning. There were 10 heads replaced and an updated controller installed. Mike was very friendly and professional. He answered all our questions and made sure we were all set with the system before he left.

Had my annual shut off today. They came early, and were very professional. The service was very quick and efficient.

Excellent job, patient, helpful, and accurate on the best way too manage my irrigation system now and in the future. And very polite and patient with my questions.

The service provided today was excellent, as always. The technician was very professional and courteous when he arrived to drain and shut down our Antico irrigation system for the winter. He advised me that all zones had functioned properly after he concluded the process. We have used Anticos service for over twenty years since Antico installed it.

Anthony and Son Austin showed up half an hour late at a tightly scheduled appointment. Anthony Antico told me he had a specially equipped snake to locate my old point or shallow well. He seemed capable and competent. I asked after fully explaining all of my research to him about where the old well was, how much it would cost to locate the well. Anthony told me I would have an estimate by the end of the business day. I did not. The next day I got an email saying Antico could not help me, after the day prior and in my call before that, he repeatedly reassured me he could and would locate the well and that he had the tool and would work with me. Anthony also told me he would refer me to other tradesmen in his network that he trusted. Anthony got my hopes up, wasted my time, and completely misled me. Please be aware, this guy is a liar and an unprincipled fellow. Don t waste your time with him. Anthony Antico should receive a -5 rating, I ll have to settle for a 1 given the categories available. Don t use him, there are principled contractors out there and he is not one of them.

These guys are great. I just moved into a 1950s Cape in Arlington and theyve serviced the house for decades. Its a son and father operation and the care and compassion they put into the business shows. They installed a really sweet irrigation system for my planters as well as restored the underground irrigation--the costs are phenomenally affordable and their service is very personal and local. Ill be sticking with AJ Antico as long as I own this house!

We have AJ Antico for our lawn irrigation system for past 30 years. Today their technician replaced the three original distribution valves from an underground box in our backyard. He dug out all the dirt and tree roots to make our system works. Their technician did the work above and beyond the call of duty. We had few problems with their technicians in past 30 years; but most of the time the hire experienced technicians. We highly recommend A J Antico for quality work at a reasonable cost.

A.J. Antico builds irrigation systems that are reliable and efficient. They do need maintenance every spring and so any clients sense of the company is based on the service representative. Mike turned on our system for the season and repaired several leaks. But part of the system did not seem to work properly. He returned and found more subtle problems he then repaired. Throughout, he was competent, courteous, and professional. Our irrigation system is now many years old and we continue to be pleased with the service provided by A. J. Antico.

I paid for a package deal of fall irrigation blowout and spring turn-on and tuneup for a very reasonable price. The technician was on time, pleasant, professional, and spent a full hour plus on my very limited 2-zone irrigation system. They will be my go to service in thefuture.

I ran into an issue where I needed to reposition and replace a few sprinkler heads. The original company that sold and installed the irrigation system was being unresponsive so I decided to find a new company to work with going forward and I m so glad I found AJ Antico. From the first phone call they were shocked by my past experience assuring me that would never happen with one of their customers. Mike came out to consult and ultimately was the one to do the work as well. All I can say is I wished I had found AJ Antico from the start. Absolutely the best! The crew is extremely skilled, personable and professional. This was a large project with 27 separate zones of irrigation. The Antico team replaced all our sprinkler heads, reconfigured the current zones, as well as added a dozen new zones, and multiple spigots. They also installed and configured a new Wi-Fi controller. We are very pleased with the project. From Austin s initial proposal, through installation and the final walkthrough by Matt. They went the extra mile to ensure we were happy with the installation and setup of the system. We highly recommend Antico for irrigation!!

Another good experience with Antico! We have had an irrigation contract with Antico for many years, and their technicians and office staff have always been excellent. Today was a challenge because our irrigation controller is in our basement and we didnt want our technician to enter the house - during the pandemic we are isolating ourselves because of age and asthma. Our technician was terrific about this. We left photos outside of all the equipment, inside and out, and we progressed through the various steps (some he did outside, some we did inside) in a very smooth way. Although Im sure this took extra time, he respected our concerns about contact. Our system has now been successfully (and safely) turned on for the season. Many thanks!

Today, October 29, 2020, Anthony did a final blow-out of the irrigation system for the season. With the compressor going, he went thru all the zones and blew out all the water from the system. This is a must as the winter season is coming. The system worked PERFECTLY this year and I had one of the best looking lawns in the area. Best investment Ive made in a long time and A.J. Antico is THE BEST !!

Antico came to winterize our sprinkler system. He wore a mask and was in and out of the house quickly. They are consistent, professional and we have always been happy with the service we receive.

Alberto (and his canine sidekick Paco) did a great job today turning on our sprinkler system for the season. Alberto also discovered a major leak in our very old system, and (with our OK) proceeded to do an excellent job repairing it! He clearly was very knowledgeable, and he (and Paco) were also very nice to have around! I am definitely going to request Alberto (and Paco) for our future service calls. We had to turn on an irrigation system that had been inoperable for over a decade. We called Antico and they still had the records from way back then. Their staff were friendly and prompt. Did a thorough job and stayed late till the job was done. We are very pleased with their responsiveness and service. Look forward to their continued service.

I recently purchased a house with a non-functioning lawn sprinkler system. The sales rep Tyler was very knowledgeable and proposed a good solution. The service rep Matt was very thorough locating and fixing the problem and updating the antiquated valves and several broken heads.

Technicians are efficient and friendly. Scheduling and communications somewhat less so.

Not sure what to make of them right now. I have a service contract with them. In some ways, it now seems that charging for repairs needed in the course of the service contract are a significant profit center for them. Initially after spotting a leak, they wanted to charge me almost 500 dollars to replace a part - this was more than 25% of the charge for the whole system (installation, parts and all) . The initial work had some issues as well, thought they tell me the salesman was fired (or resigned) due to repeated problems. The rapid appearance of a leak (actually noticed in the fall prior to turn off), a rain sensor placed under tjhe canopy of the tree and a few other issues have already emerged in roughly two years. On the plus side, they were highly responsive regarding my issues with them. They tell me they are undergoing a bit of a reboot.The young man who came to do the initial service and the older gentleman who followed up were both great guys to deal with. There was an older guy supervising the earlier visit who was a bit gruff. Their staff altogether seems mixed, from people who are great to work with, to people who arent. Prices for installation seem about average. Prices for repairs seem very high.I will update as time goes on. .

Tom had to find an ancient cable box, which was hidden among the rhododendrons, totally overgrown with ivy, and had been chewed up by squirrels. He did find it and did a great job rewiring the whole thing. Thanks!

We have been long term customers of AJ Antinco Irrigation. Addison came to fix a broken irrigation head. He fixed the head, checked all the other heads and offered good advice about how to improve our lawn coverage. I liked the reminders sent before the visit as well as a thank you note for doing business with them.

The gentleman that did the work was great , but for Antico to send a generator in a truck that then over heats and shuts off seems pretty stupid

I called and was able to get an appointment to winterize my sprinkler system within a week. The appointment was for between noon and 5pm, but they showed up at about 12:10. They were professional, courteous, and quick.
