My wife and I recently bought our first home together and decided to hire Neal and his team to help transform our landscaping. I rarely leave reviews but was compelled to share some highlights from our 5 star experience working with total lawn inc: 1. Landscaping services - these people are flat out good at what they do. After initial consultations, Neal drew us a custom landscaping plan suited to our taste and executed perfectly. His team s speed and proficiency at transforming our yard was evident. His experience and eye for details has made our yard something that is sad to leave and wonderful to come home to! 2. Customer service - Neal and his team are extremely professional and emphasize the customer experience. He immediately gave us his personal cell number and has been available with any and all questions ever since we hired him. He routinely drives by to check on things and has texted me tips on when where I have needed to adjust watering strategies. Extremely helpful for a first time homeowner. He even replaced a plant on his own accord that was having a hard time initially and never said a word again his attention to these little details has been greatly appreciated. 3. Honesty/business integrity - I have been very grateful for Neal s price transparency and business integrity. He delivers quality work for fair prices and you feel good about trusting what you are getting. After delivery of our landscaping services he made sure to make adjustments on his own to what we owed if he was able to find cheaper/better options (we likely would never have known the difference). Overall we are thrilled with our decision to trust Neal and his team with our yard transformation, and I look forward to hopefully working with them in the near future!

Neal was able to help us out with some drainage issues, and it was a very quick process. Communication was a breeze, and when it was all said and done, it looked great. Cant recommend Neal enough if you live in the area.

We called him to help with a backyard fence project his design, attention to detail throughout prep and installation and the post job follow up were all excellent. There were zero issues crews were timely and professional. They cleaned up after each days work. The landscape products used were all the highest quality. And they finished the job very quickly. Our border garden beds in the rear of our house had become a huge mess with volunteer seedlings and a lot of weeds taking hold in a few short months this spring and summer. It was beyond our skills and ambition to clear this mess out so we could enjoy our garden beds again. If you are searching the internet for someone to do landscape design and installation, yard maintenance, or fix your drainage issues . . . stop searching and call Neal at Total Lawn Inc. After we had our back deck replaced, Neal came in and completely redesigned our landscaping from the ground up. He worked with us to come up with a plan to address the persistent drainage issues we had been having in our yard including grading, French drains, and dry wells; he cut new flower beds and selected low-maintenance plantings for us that will look great year round; and he added hardscape to maximize the use of our yard and deck for us and our young kids. The results really speak for themselves, and his pricing was very reasonable. The best part about working with Total Lawn Inc. is that Neal is there from the design phase through the actual work. He doesn t show up to sell you a bunch of expensive yardwork and then disappear Neal is on site every day working with his team during the actual install. His expertise and experience was apparent throughout the process. He even went above and beyond in helping manage and assuage a difficult and intrusive neighbor! If you are debating on using Neil or another company .go with Neil, you will not regret it. Firstly he gave us an amazing design for our poor backyard. It took them 4 days to install 3 retaining walls, artificial turf, 5 truckloads of dirt, mulch, pinestraw, sod in the front yard, multiple plants and 2 magnolia trees. These guys are absolutely incredible and some of the hardest working crew I have ever seen! Worth every damn penny. They destroyed my established fescue lawn in about a year Simply because they could not be bothered with cutting it to toe proper height. The owner couldn t care less.

The tag line for this company should be, There aint no traffic jam on the Extra Mile! These guys went the extra mile to solve an erosion and drainage issue in the back yard. They went above and beyond typical work. After grading and drainage was installed they put down sod and came back in a few days to check it. They werent happy with the way the sod was underperforming for roots taking so they removed the sod and put in a whole new 2 pallets. Also, killed 2 birds with one stone on an old decrepit fire pit by removing the bricks and buried them under the grading before adding a dump truck full of new dirt to level the cause of the erosion. We have worked with Total Lawn for many years now. The first time Neal came to our house, it was because another landscaper had left a job undone. I literally needed disposal of railroad ties and a few tiny odd jobs done. Neal did not laugh at my requests, and began to earn my trust. That job turned into an annual spring clean-up, then the beautification of the county creek runoff drain in our side yard, then renovation of our home drainage solution to stop basement flooding, then regrading our marshy backyard and turning it into a conversation piece with our neighbors to this day! This year, we had to fix a sinkhole in the front yard, and Neal worked with us to determine what could be done now and later, and we know he is keeping the entire vision in mind as we work toward our ultimate yard in the future. None of these jobs were planned; our yard has dictated what was necessary each time, but Neal has taken what could be a painful, expensive project and turned it into something we are excited about and love to look at. I honestly just read the Design and Installation portions of his website for the first time, but ~every~ word is true (read it!). We dont even look at other companies anymore. Our kids love Neal; we love him and his whole crew, and we look forward to many more years of working together.

Neil came out spur of the moment for me to save me before I had a playground installed. He came by and did it professionally for me in a fraction of the time that I was trying to do it myself. He charge me a reasonable price for it and even let my son ride on his dingo!

Neal and his crew did a fantastic job installing my new zoysia lawn. What I appreciated was the prep they did to ensure it did well. Neal also provided me with recommendations on better drainage and installed 3 small dry river beds. Love the look. Neal and his team are a professional and hardworking crew. We had Total Lawn do a complete overhaul of our backyard including new patios, planting, and a new fire pit. Neal performed a complete backyard renovation for us and we are very pleased with the results. Our yard had drainage issues which left us with dead and dying grass. He was meticulous with putting in extensive piping and a dry river bed to help with drainage in addition to bringing in truckloads of dirt and regrading. He also sodded the yard with zoysia and it looks great. In addition he added privacy trees, multiple planting areas, walkways, and a beautiful paver patio. We now have a yard which is much lower maintenance and looks fantastic. We find ourselves outside much more now enjoying all the additions. We found Neal to be very hands on with the work making sure all went according to plan. His crew was also courteous and hard working. I had a tree cut down that was destroying my front yard and a retaining wall. I also needed maintenance on the sprinkler system. Neal offered a great price (much lower than other services) on the lawn and wall work that that was met, even with some adjustments to the project. The wall rebuild looks great, the lawn is now level and seeded for winter. His sprinkler guy came in, repaired the system and added/changed the heads, also for a very reasonable price. I look forward to the spring and continued work with Neal. He and his crew were professional and pleasant to work with.

Neal and his team did a great job with our front flower bed and backyard. We really appreciated his creative and functional input that went into our solution. We completely scrapped some of the existing outdoor spaces around our house and gave Neal authorization to remake them as he saw fit. We added low maintenance plants, shrubs and rock accents around our house, as well as some rock and dirt to improve our drainage away from the house. Everything turned out looking really good, our previous spaces were dated and unattractive. Now they look great and function much better. They were also very quick in their work, easy to communicate with and work with. We will definitely use their service again to update the remaining spaces around our house.

I had to wipe tears from my face as I viewed the amazing changes to my landscaping. Beautiful new trees and shrubs. Pathways inviting one to wander that way. Gorgeous. These folks arrived at the time they had indicated and finished that day. Just as they said they would. They even removed plants from some of my overgrown beds and placed them more artistically. What a transformation, from a boring, developer grade yard to a unique, mini woodland retreat. As a gardener, I couldnt be happier with the final result as well as the whole process! I had a giant, muddy, slippery area in a low part of my backyard. I contacted Neil Currin of Total Lawn, Inc. He came out and installed a dry well with sod and stepping stones. I waited for it to rain before posting this and yep, all dry! He did a fabulous job, and was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. He and his crew worked until dark in order to finish in one day. His crew was very respectful, not only to me, but to each other. Highly recommend!

Look, there is no question we arent the easiest clients to work with. Our ever-shifting priorities, our fluid approach to budget, and our eye for astetics can be a formidable obstacle to any project.. Unfortunatly, our eye for astetics is betrayed by our lack of vision. We were looking for a vision. Neal came in with exactly what we needed. He came with a vision for what our yard could be. Did he nail it on the first try? I suspect he did but like I said, we are difficult. But hey, the building blocks were certainly there in the initial design. What impressed me was how patient Neal was while we worked through numerous design, redesign, and pricing scenarios. In the end, when we locked it down, he knocked it out. What I thought would certainly take a month to do, Neal knocked out in a week. Our backyard, which could only be previously described a hill of mud and despair, is now a beautiful terraced and tranquil place to be with all the appropriate drainage. This is our second time working with Neal Currin and I only have wonderful things to say about our experiences! First our front yard was a pain point and a number of interviews later we decided to go with Neal because he came to us with a design and an execution plan, and we couldnt be happier. We were looking for someone to do a fairly big job in our yard. This involved management of erosion and water issues, creating a structure to support and install a hot tub and beautifying the yard. We had some pretty expensive estimates of some groups who didn t listen to our budget request. Neal came in and paid attention to the budget we laid out. He met with us multiple times when it was convenient for us including weekends. He addressed every concern we had before we started and he worked directly with the hot tub company to make sure everything was ready for the day of delivery. Other companies had told us it would take a month. Neal told us it would take 10 days. He finished on time and under the estimate. Most importantly Neal took the quality of his work personally. He considered our yard his yard until the job was complete. He worked over a holiday weekend with his crew to make sure the job was done on time. He worked with our neighbor as he needed to access their driveway to get to our yard. He was professional and did high quality work. I would recommend him without reservation to anyone.
