We had an enormous silver maple removed via crane assist and then the stump ground down roots cut. The street was marked off ahead of time, so my neighbors knew where not to park. Gabe worked with us to find a week that worked for our schedule and theirs. I got phone calls the day before to remind me about the tree removal and then again the day before the stump grinding to alert me that theyd be out. On the day of the removal, the Urban Tree team was incredible to watch! The ease and artistry with which they took out our tree was amazing. The team is professional, efficient, helpful and took the time to answer my questions and make me feel comfortable. They work very seamlessly together their knowledge and experience comes across very clearly as you see them work. They removed the tree one day and came back another day to grind the stump, which seems to be typical. Both days they cleaned up the yard and street not only at the end of the work, but along the way. They took care to leave things looking as nice possible. I would highly recommend Gabe and his crew to take care of tree removal projects you have.

I have used Urban Tree previously to cut down and trim large trees on my property. I worked with Gabe and other staff arborists, who take great pride in their work and care about trees. This job was more a removal of tree debris that had been left from a fallen tree by Xcel. They did a timely and excellent job of that as well. I highly recommend this company!

They took down 2 trees, raised the canopy for 1, and cleaned up everything, all in about 30-40 minutes! They will definitely be my go-to company, highly recommended!

I needed a single tree removed with stump grinding, Gabe helped me out and got me a quote and got the job done quickly! The crew that came out was quick and efficient and did a great job. It was sad to see the 100 year old massive oak come down, but its time was up so to speak, Though the tree was in close proximity to the house and in the center of the lawn it was safely and efficiently removed and the stump ground and the resulting lawn defect repaired. Great care was taken not to damage the lawn , covering it with plywood sheeting to protect against the heavy equipment.. Urban was also employed to remove a stand of Amur maples ravaged by Japanese beetles and to trim shrubs and other plantings. Some follow up service was required and attended to promptly. Pricing was fair for the work done.

The team did a great job taking down a gigantic oak in a precarious location. They cleaned up so well, it was hard to tell they were here.

This dead giant oak tree stood next to the septic mound, so it was a challenge to make sure nothing landed hard on the mound. The crew knew exactly how to handle the situation. I left in the middle of the work, and when I returned the crew was gone, and it was as though they were never there...the yard and street were cleaned up of all debris. Next Spring well have them back to treat a few Ash trees, and if any other trees need removal, they will be our first call.

We had a good experience with the Urban Tree team. The came a made quick, professional work of a group of mulberry trees that were becoming a nuisance. I had them remove a large dying spruce situated between my house and my neighbors and prune a crab apple tree close to my house.The cost was competitive . Shortly after I signed the contract I came home from work and the tree was gone and the crab apple pruned. The debris was completely removed. I was very satisfied and would use them again.

Gabe and his team made quick work of our tree removal in South Minneapolis! They did a great job making sure the prune and removal looked great, were friendly, and let us keep some branches and logs for our garden beds. Would highly recommend them!

I am a return client of what I consider a tree whisperer company. Why do I call this company and its crew tree whisperers? Because the first trees they top off are luscious and happy. This time around after several years I call them again to manicure other trees I adore! and my expectations where exceeded. TBD on whether we end up working together but the professionalism and concern for customer experience that Gabe exhibited showed me that what is described below is an outlier experience that should not be seen as normal. have updated to 5 stars due to the resolutions made by Gabe and Urban trees team. Original: It was easy to work with their office to schedule an estimate. The individual reached out to reschedule our initial appointment which was fine. On the day of the reschedule they never showed and I had to inquire on whether or not they were coming. We rescheduled for the following week and again never showed, never contacted me and havent heard from them since. I understand that things get busy and that is fine. Rescheduling never bothered me. But poor follow up and communication is a different story. Not sure about their actual quality of work since i never was able to even get an estimate so wont/cannot comment on that

From beginning to end of my project (tree pruning and emerald ash treatment), Gabe and the crew from Urban Tree were knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Im pleased with the work done on my property and impressed with the efficiency exhibited. After the extensive pruning and trimming was done, the site was cleaned up better than it was when the job started. I definitely wont hesitate to employ their services again in the future.

Gabe and his crew did an excellent job removing a medium sized maple tree from a tricky area of our yard (lots of buildings, wire, and fence to work around). They also trimmed our larger maple up beautifully. They worked quickly and left our yard looking better than the found it. They even honored my request to keep some of the logs to use in a future project and stacked them in a neat pile. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing quality tree work.

These guys were excellent!!! The 4 gentlemen we had were timely, respectful, efficient, and were great at their tasks. It was like watching a well orchestrated dance routine. Each team member easily took up where the other member left off...able to do a variety of tasks. Clean-up was above and beyond. Gabe is the most knowledgeable and honest of the five tree trimmers I interviewed. He cares about his work and about trees. I had to trim a neighbors oak tree whose branches were scraping the roof of my house. Gabe was aware of the window for cutting oak, and had further knowledge of injection to protect the tree. He was up front with his advice and well-informed. His team did a great job of trimming! and protecting the oak by coating the cuts afterwards to prevent the possibility of oak wilt. Fair price. On time! Reliable. Good work! Honorable people! I highly recommend, and plan to use Urban Tree again.

We can t say enough good things about the job Urban Tree did for us. Our trees were chocking out our lawn. Urban tree came in and took a couple down (we were hesitant) to open up the yard. Then pruned the others. Our yard is looking awesome and having a few trees gone really gave us curb appeal. Knowledgeable, fast, friendly, hard working crew. I used Urban Tree & Landscaping to remove a very large Elm tree that was growing over my house. This was a very difficult job that required climbers and a crane due to the location of the tree to my house and to insure my house was not damaged. Originally I went with Urban Tree because they gave me the best quote by quite a bit compared to 3 other companies in the cities. Now I am able to recommend them not only on price, but quality of work. They handled everything from working with Excel to take down/put back up my power as well, to cleaning up after thoroughly when they were done. I was expecting this to be a full day job, but they were in and out in about 5 hours. Go with these guys, you wont be disappointed.

We had a huge cottonwood tree located in our backyard that was difficult to reach due to the fencing. We received over ten bids and the we selected Urban tree and landscape because of their prompt responses, reasonable bid, and professionalism. We werent looking for the lowest bid, we were looking for a company that was going to do what they say and do a good job. They came out three days after I secured the bid and had that baby down in no time. The owner, Gabe, even came out to conduct a walk through of the job after completion and they cleaned up the residual mess that is left after dissecting a gigantic tree. Great service, great price. Id recommend them to my family and friends and would select them again if needed.

A tree had fallen on my dads house during a storm on a Friday evening. Urban Tree was able to come early Sunday morning and safely remove the tree, as well as cut down other large branches that could potentially fall on the house or neighboring homes. The whole project was done in a safe and timely manner. The guys were skilled and knowledgeable! I would highly recommend Urban Tree for any project!

Their crew tore through my electrical line, severing it from the house. The manager fixed the electrical and gave me a discount on the tree trimming. Not as smooth as I would have liked it to go, but they did the job.

I used Urban Tree and Landscape twice in the past and both times were excellent. I had a tree in my yard I was going to remove myself then chickened out when I realized just how close this was to a power line. It needed to be removed by Monday morning and I called on Saturday around noon. Jack called back in a short while. He was out and the tree was down in a bout 3 hours. Great service! Thanks Jack.

Had Urban Tree remove 2 giant pine trees and a 50 ft black walnut tree. The guys did a fantastic job taking down the trees and cleaned up very nicely. They completed the work very quickly and efficiently. It is obvious that they are highly experienced. I would highly recommend Urban Tree & Landscape.

I decided to give Urban Tree a try after seeing great reviews from Google. I had a very big tree (Silver maple) that needed to be taken down because it has rotted on the inside and in danger of falling either on my house or my neighbors. I received estimate from 2 other tree removal companies . Urban Tree was very reasonable and the best deal. We had to reschedule 2 times , one for unknown reason and the second because it was very hot and muggy that one day.They did a very good job. They took down the big tree in half a day and their work was clean. None of the debris ended in my neighbors. They came back 2 days later to clear the stump and did a great job there too. I would do business with them again .
