Don was here today to do my first spring open . My irrigation system has not been maintained properly in years and Don spent two hours + getting my system in top working shape at a very reasonable price .After leaving we experienced a banging noise in the pipes (an ongoing problem way before Don) I called Don and he insisted on coming back to try and fix the problem. After spending another hour he wasn t able to solve the problem but I know he will not give up until it is fixed. This all after he came to my house on a Sunday afternoon to fix a head that was improperly aligned. I highly recommend Green Environment for all your irrigation needs.

Last year, we called Green Environment (based on reviews) to help fix our irrigation system after some major yard work was done. This year, we had some major drainage issues with ground water leaking in the basement. Both times, Don came out when he said he would, took the time to find the cause of the issues and determine the best way to fix the problems. Always explained what he was doing. Came several times after the job was done to make sure everything was working as it should. You can tell he genuinely cares about assessing the problem and fixing it the right way. I am so glad I called Green Environment Landscaping. While my husband and I were able to rework our irrigation system last year, we had a few needs crop up recently that we just didn t have time for. Don has been fantastic to work with. Responsive by text and phone, Don came out the day I called to check out the needed work and talk through a plan. He and Joseph completed the work in good time, even stayed after the job was complete to check the system with the water turned on. An issue presented independent of the contracted work but Don offered to figure it out and completed the repair voluntarily. So pleased with the quality of work and eager to bring this company back.

After researching irrigation companies, I contacted Don initially about starting up my sprinkler system. He reached out to me the VERY NEXT day and was at my door first thing in the morning to do so. I also had some issues with my current lawn care company as the sod I had put down a few years back was looking thin, tired, and nonexistent in spots. Don took the time to explain why this was happening and how he could amend my lawn and bring it back to its original beauty. He answered every question I had and not once did i feel like i was troubling him. Don even took my lawn mower out of the shed to make sure I was mowing at the correct height. Don installed an irrigation system for us recently. He and his team were true professionals and were open with communication during the installation. We got several quotes on irrigation systems for our home and even though his quote wasn t the cheapest he was the most transparent with the plan for work and offered the most value given the quality. During installation l, flash flooding washed away a lot of the cover dirt and Don and his team even brought in loam and grass seed over the trenched areas to regrow our lawn. Id highly recommend him for irrigation services.

Green Environment did an amazing job and fixed my yard and trees that I had planted by the previous company. If I didn t hire Green Environment when I did all the trees would have died this season . Don and his team did an amazing job with designing and installing a French drain/storm drain with outdoor rates sump pump. Don communicated effectively from when I contacted him. He came out and designed a system to meet our needs. He also brought in special order materials of superior quality and strength, way better than the big chain stores piping and supplies. Even when the design needed some modifications due to our particular lawn and soil conditions (tons of roots and rocks!) Don made it work for our budget and adapted his design to overcome these obstacles. Today, about a week after finishing the job, we had a day of rain. Don showed up to check to make sure that everything was working as it should, you can t beat his commitment to professionalism and quality. Would absolutely recommend and will use again for my future landscaping/drainage needs.

Don provides truly outstanding service - even under difficult weather conditions! My mother-in-laws driveway, walkways and steps were completely covered in thick ice after the 4 Feb 2022 ice storm. Unfortunately, her normal crew did not show up to clear it. She slipped and fell while trying to put down ice melt. I cold-called Don after reading a glowing review from the head of engineering at a Providence hotel. Upon hearing of the ice and her fall, he quickly agreed to help. Don arrived within 1.5 hours and worked diligently (in the rain) clearing thick ice, including a solid ice banking from the plow. He sent me periodic photos showing his progress. In the middle of clearing ice, my mother-in-law arrived back from a doctors appointment. Don kindly helped her over the remaining ice and into the house. I could not be more pleased! His prices are reasonable and he is a pleasure to work with. We will gladly use him for future snow and landscaping needs. Highly recommended!!

We watched Donald and his crew bring our neighbors patchy lawn back to life so we talked to him about making a 30 x7 bed for flowers and bushes in our yard. This involved removing thick sod a tough job that they did at a fair price. Donald fit us into his schedule, kept us informed and was prompt. He is very knowledgeable about lawns, native plants and alternatives to monoculture, high maintenance yards. We learned a lot from him. This winter I asked him to plow our drive when we were out of town so our pet care person could get in and out. There was a 22 snow storm and we felt secure that he would get the job done.

Our sod installation was a relatively small job for Don, but despite this I feel like I got to know him pretty well. From beginning to end he communicated well regarding what he was going to do and why, what we should expect, and what we needed to do after he was done. Our backyard grass looks great He and his team were professional throughout the project. It s clear that he cares about his work, his employees and his customers. I highly recommend Don.

At the beginning of last year 2021 I started to look for landscapers to redo the horrible landscape features I had already. The previous landscapers used over 5-7 years ago obviously didn t know much and planted plants and bushes that were allegedly suppose to be beautiful and ended up looking like they survived a nuclear war. I called numerous places and some showed up and some didn t. Some didn t even return my call or email. The few that did show I would explain what we wanted and I could tell by looking at them and listening to them they were either in a hurry and didn t care or didn t know how to handle the job and some were just in professional with there demeanor and profanity. Don the owner from Green Environment Landscaping arrived early. Was dressed nice and genuinely listens to us, walked around the yard, took pictures, measured the beds, took at soil sample and actually gave us a book of flowers and gave us some ideas to match our ideas and said to call/email him whatever we decide. Honestly I was a little overwhelmed but we looked at the boom throughout the week. Talked to Don via email and he got a ruff idea what we wanted. He had a new computer program where he could at the plants into the pictures of our yard that we wanted so we could see what it would look like. A few adjustments and we were sold! Few weeks later he took time out of his Sunday and went to the nursery with us and helped us pick what we wanted. He set a date the following week, picked up the plants and installed everything. Dug holes, put new dirt in the hole for the new plants. Stuff I ve never heard of before. Really impressive. In the fall he stopped by and pruned them and asked how we were all doing. The plants looked awesome all year and are starting to come back now after a long winter This year I had fallen a little hard times and told Don that what we had planned for this year would have to wait so to money. We talked a few times about stuff and was very genuine with his words and prayers. Don showed up one Saturday with two guys, aerated, de thatched, fertilized my whole property all I had to do was get the material. My family and I were thrown back with his kindness and generosity. I know this is a huge post but through life you meet good and bad people and you think this world is getting any better. Then someone like Don comes along just by looking for landscapers and has become a friend to the family. He s a professional landscaper, great family man, great man and a good friend. Maybe there is still hope for this world.

I had an issue with my landlord regarding snow plow services not rendered. Green had me send a picture and got me a quote in under an hour. Their gardener, Handsome Trigg, really kept things neat and clean with mulching, planting, and pruning as well.

After reviewing commentary on Green Landscapings website, we decided to call Don for a quote. Amazingly, Don came over that day, right after he got home from work, to look at our project ( a sinkhole ). We were impressed with his expertise of our needs and proceeded to get a quote and a date to start. We then agreed to have him do the job. Don and crew showed up on the date he told us that he would and early every day, in addition to that . His workmanship was professional and you could tell by the way Don and his crew worked, that they took great pride in their work. I cant tell you how amazing it was to have Don service my irrigation system. First of all, most companies have a 1-2 month wait time to service IF youre an existing customer. Don came over the same day to take a look at my system and tell me what was wrong. He fixed broken wiring, setup my timer properly and even replaced a half dozen broken heads in about an hour. I wish I could articulate how desperate I was for a solution to my lawn. I had a horrible flood in the winter that killed all of my grass and two young German shepherds that were bathing in mud and tracking it into the house every day. I also have a double lung transplant recovering in the house and a full time job. I tried doing it myself but I just couldn t do it. I was ready to torch the place.. then I met Don. He came here, evaluated the situation, quoted a very reasonable price, and made me a priority. He fixed my lawn, planted the seed, added soil, repaired my irrigation system, listened to me rant about my situation, and has physically followed up to ensure everything is going well. He grew grass in my yard when everyone told me it wouldn t happen. He is a problem solver, a hard worker, very clean, and a great shrink! I can t recommend him highly enough. What a great person he is. Hire him. You will not regret that decision.

Viva Fall River called upon Green Environment Landscaping to take on a complex, multi-part landscaping project for Fall Rivers Downtown (S Main St.) From the first moment of contact (which was swift and almost immediately after I submitted the online contact form), owner Don has been professional, timely, and very invested in this project. He provides fair, detailed pricing estimates and brings his all into the project, going well above and beyond what was originally requested of him. He provide frequent updates and documentation as needed (photos, etc.) and is punctual and trust-worthy. I know that I need not worry when Don says he and his team will be there, they will (and early!) and the job will get done thoroughly and with a great attitude. Cant ask for much more! Were only partially through the project and the difference he has made is remarkable. I feel fortunate to have found his services! Green Environment Landscapng did a great job with my lawn renovation! My lawn was quite damaged and they did a thorough dethatching and aerating and then put down a lot of loam, seed, and fertilizer to ensure a full lawn come spring. Contracted Green Environment Landcaping for a yard cleanup. Responses time was quick, service was timely, and the team did solid work. My yard had more leaves than anticipated so the initial quote was overrun a bit. However, Don made sure to notify me of this before any work was done beyond the original quote and was polite and cordial about the whole situation. He spent time going over the options that would maximize the drainage to keep water out of the basement and away from the house and gave us his recommendation only after answering our questions. Gave us the estimate and stuck to it. At each stage of the process Don consulted with us to make sure we were happy with the progress and even saved the plants that had to be temporarily removed during the grading work. Final result exceeds our expectations. Throughout the process Don and his team were responsive and professional GEM was a pleasure to work with.

Do not recommend his service. The job was not done properly, rushed job. Late on start up date. Postponed initial work several times. Beware of his estimates. He does not commit to price and work described in Work Order/Invoice signed contract. When work was done he came up with a Dumping fee of $300 never previously discussed. He had mentioned he would come back within a week and spread out more seeds. Week goes by, I have to message him, and his response I put a lot of seeds, I will have to charge for more BTW, he never provided a return visit to review the job. Not concerned about quality or customer satisfaction only revenue.

I called Green Environment a few weeks ago to give us an estimate to do some landscaping work. I spoke with Don and he came out to our property and gave us great ideas for Spring of 2021 doing some Regrading, putting an Irrigation system in and landscaping. He was very professional and informative. He answered all our questions and gave us ideas to think about. I texted Don last week if he could plow us out on Thursday as we just moved and we were expecting a snowstorm. Don came out did a great job with very little lightning and cleaned it down to the pavement. I would highly recommend him and his services and we look forward in working with him next Spring!

We hired Don to take care of our front hedges and bushes because they were desperately in need of pruning and weeding.
