Frank's Landscaping LLC in Mantua Township

I came home to a beautiful surprise! I was out running errands and came home to trimmed shrubs and bushes and fresh mulch just in time for Easter! It all looks wonderful. Love your team. I refer everyone I know to Frank's!

We generally had a good experience with Frank's, with only occasional areas missed, etc. However, on the day after they mowed (about a month ago), there where large tracks of dead grass in the lines where the mower had passed (see photos). We tried calling several times, with no response. I spoke to the supervisor the next time they came out, showed him the dead spots, and suggested the gas cap might have been left off and gas leaked into the yard, but he said it wasn't their fault, though he could not offer any explanation of why the dead grass perfectly lined up with the mower tracks. We again tried calling Frank directly multiple times to get things rectified, but the number only gets you to an answering service, and we've still not heard back from Frank.

Despite my admiration for well cared for lawns and gardens, I have yet to develop enough self-discipline to get down on my knees at my own home to weed and mulch. Lucky for me, Franks Landscaping sent a couple of skilled and hardworking landscapers who transformed our front and backyard within a day. They knew exactly what needed to be done and how to do it. They were open to discussion, offered very helpful suggestions and worked continuously until the job was completed. I hope to keep up what they put in place but if I fall behind again, I won’t hesitate to call Frank for more well priced, excellent service.

These guys lie Do me a favor, State emphatically here that your workers are not Illegal and that you have verified all the paperwork necessary and required by the Federal Government to verify their citizenship and right to work in the USA. As I said I have no problem personally with them being illegal, my problem would only be if they are not being paid in accordance with fair wages. My problem is with your lack of professionalism + discourtesy you give your patrons. They were our landscaper for a few years now. They were ok never as good as the ones we had before but our neighbors decided to use them so we jumped on board. It was a little cheaper. While the owner denies this emphatically... I know the following statement to be true as MY WHOLE family is hispanic I have travelled the region extensively.... speak FLUENT SPANISH... and EVEN asked a few guys before where they are from ...porque yo tengo que hablar con mi gente... and they told me... BECAUSE I SPEAK SPANISH...They use mostly Central American what appears to be possibly Illegal immigrants, which I don’t have a problem with as long as they pay them well. I could tell some of them haven’t been here long. I speak fluent Spanish so I would speak to them once and awhile. This year I called to see when they would start when I called to make a payment. They said that week. No one cut my yard I called left a message before I left to Europe. When I came back 2 weeks later I had grass forest in my back yard. <<<<<<< This absolutely True...and so is this >>>>No one bothered to call or tell me anything. My neighbors grass was cut. I called eventually someone a couple days later called me back. They explained they had bought bigger machines and couldn’t get them in my back yard. So I get it but this happened before a couple years ago and I paid them more to have someone hand mow it. They said they couldn’t accommodate that the woman explained that it wasn’t her fault the company is growing. It’s not that they made this change. It’s that they lack the decency and respect to notify a loyal customer. Next time I see one of the workers I’m gonna ask how much he gets paid. If says anything less than minimum wage I’m gonna report them to INS and the department of Labor I hope they're legal dude because your Lie of a response just turned my house in to a video recon site. They take a while to come out but I'm filing the reported suspicion which they eventually have to investigate. By the way you might want cut peoples houses before Memorial day in neighborhood like ours I saw my neighbor cutting his own lawn as you didn't come last week. Look at my other reviews if you don't believe me, There is only one other this bad and they had maggots in their salad ... all the rest are either rave reviews or at the least 3 and 4 stars.. Judge for yourself. I call it like is. By the way ... I can refer to ethnic groups I belong to. Maybe you should learn how to speak Spanish so you can find out that most of your employees are ACTUALLY CENTRAL AMERICAN notice i didn't say Mexican ... and sure a couple somewhere are... BUT IT's BECAUSE I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE IN ACCENT. y seguramente no estan de los ISLAS del Caribe ni de otro paises que hablan otra idiomas. The problem here isn't that I'm speaking of ethnicity that my family whom I love dearly belongs to... the problem is that if all your workers in the field are from one ethnicity then it might be concluded your taking advantage of the less fortunate in our society because it is cheaper and more expedient to do so. That is disgraceful and inexcusable. It could be a simple view that if you were paying MARKET RATE then your employment base might be a little more diverse, since your implying in your response that my comments are despicable. I think that hiring only one ethnic group is a little more despicable as there is no real advantage to that other than what I stated. WHEN I LIST THE PICTURES OF YOUR EMPLOYEES ON MY NEIGHBORS LAWNS THIS WEEK I WANT TO HEAR YOUR RESPONSE THEN. A sincere apology could have this review taken down.

We have used Frank’s for the past 5 years or so. We had a couple other companies before them. They’ve consistently done a great job with our lawn care. They’ve done an outstanding job with our seasonal cleanups and mulching. Prices are reasonable. We have never had an issue. Highly recommend.

We have used Franks for our grass cutting for years. We have never had a problem with them. We asked for our grass to be cut a certain day and they are always there unless rain. Recently, we used them for Spring Cleanup/mulch. I could not believe how much brush they cleaned up. The employees worked hard all day to complete the job. Our yard looks excellent and the price was less then we had paid in the past

Frank's Landscaping has been absolutely wonderful to work with! When we first bought our house, the backyard was a disaster and with dogs, I couldn't wait to have a yard for them. Frank's Landscaping has completely transformed my yard and we could not be happier with the outcome!

Stopped cutting my grass without warning. Consistently made excuses and after the grass was 3-4 weeks high they acted like the grass was too high to cut and told me they were not going to cut it. My neighbor cut it for me without a problem and I found a more truthful, reliable lawn care company.
