Hi Kyle, we really like that our yard is one of the few in our neighborhood with no dandelions....none. Our grass is thicker and lush. Thank you for your work to make our yard awesome.

The grass is greener on my side..New Year New Start..Well (Josh) did a fantastic job..I d say he s definitely dedicated to his job just by watching him go throughout the yard and got everything looked at and treated.(Well 2 months later what a difference in job dedication) second application was a no show..needed to call to find out what happened..this was for a yard aeration (Liquid) said scheduled for 2nd week of May no show or call..Called them and was told it was scheduled for Fall season..thats not accurate. ok was told last week of May or first week of June...Another no show or phone call to explain whats the problem..Well its time to call it quits someones not doing their job!!.(Update) Customer service is helpful billing is reasonably but I still wish I had the same technician coming out each time..Kinda like getting a good mechanic that does a good job and doesnt skip corners.

Terrible service then continued to do services after I said I was not renewing for the next year. They are now calling me every week saying I have a bill due for a service that I never wanted. The actual service was horrible and my lawn looked worse than it was without the service at all. Bad company and customer service is worse.

My husband was given the sales pitch! I told him to cancel this service because our grass looks horrible! We had brown spots all over the yard. It wasnt dead grass per say,but it looked like the yard had freckles. The amount of weeds we had this year have been the worse ever! I honestly do not know anything about the person who sold him on the fertilizer package but hes full of B.S.! Just noticed they charged us in the beginning of September. Noone has been out to spray.

Generally FreeSpray services are reasonably price, well delivered by courteous technicians, and highly effective.

I was told that their grub control could get rid of our Japanese beetles yet 2 years in a row, my plants are covered with them. Free Spray was kind enough to call me and tell me that they would not charge me for the grub control. Now they have been blowing up my phone for payment. I am very disappointed.

First year using there services and very disappointed with my back lawn. We watered frequently all summer and lawn is brown and dying in multiple spots. Call me please!

I m going to cancel the service because it has been 2 years they are treating my lawn but the weeds are still there. I has been telling them they are keep telling next time

Watch out.! I called this company early April for service. I was overcharged compared to what I was quoted. First service, the guy came out and only sprayed by the entrance and no back no side of the lawn and thank God for the cameras in the house otherwise we would never know how bad this service was. Still, I was contacted by John (said he was the owner) for service recovery and I was told that I was going to get my money back (which I did ) and then I was told that service would be on the company even though I asked to cancel. After all, I was surprised with a balance of $ 98 to pay for a service that I did not ask for and I was told would be on the company. I would not recommend this company at all as this was a huge mistake on my part dealing with company in the first place.!!!

Way more weeds in my lawn than with TruGreen. I don t think they are local to Delaware county and they don t want to make the trip but they take the money either way.

Ive been using Free Spray for 4 summers, and the lawn looks good. If I have a complaint they come right back out. This year its been dry so not as green but they do great, no dandelions in the spring although neighbors are full of them

They got me on the schedule surprisingly quick, which was unexpected. After they treated my lawn I noticed within a few days the weeds dying! Very satisfied with the service and the price!

I am writing this review after being assisted by Blade, customer service angel! I used the service last year and I am back for year 2. Not only do the technicians do a 5 star job, they leave a description of service performed right down to the time of day. My lawn is one thing, but as a pet owner, I am 100% relieved to find out their products are human AND PET FRIENDLY! I called in a panic because my 6 month old puppy enthusiastically rolled and rubbed her tiny little body in the grass BEFORE I saw the treatment was done today! Ive tried maintaining our lawn myself, although Ive never been able to get on top of the crabgrass. Last season we had a lot of wild violet spring up as well, and it looked like our lawn was purely weeds with little grass. We started using Free Spray last summer/Fall. This spring, our lawn looks amazing! I am shocked that I see very little weeds and have a lush lawn. I highly recommend hiring this company, you wont regret it.

I canceled my contract after the 2023 season due to weeds and browning of areas. They sprayed early spring without my consent. Owner, John, admitted employee resigned and she did not fulfill her job duties. He offered me a free year of service if I stayed. I declined in writing via email 3/27/24. They have now sprayed twice without my consent. I hired a more professional Co. There is a lack of communication and quality with Freespray in my opinion based on my experience. No Co with a good reputation gives a year of service free. That is desperate.

This is my 3rd year (2024) with Free Spray. I renewed again this year. We always get a call the day before spraying so that we dont send our dog into the backyard to get his feet wet with fertilizers and other chemicals before it drys.

Still early in the season and have only had 1 treatment. I am ultimately looking for a fuller lawn with alot less patch spots. Time will tell as more work is done to help them spots fill in.

I was very pleased with your work and customer service. If I had not lost your information we would still be doing business. Then your competitor True Green stopped. Their sales person was very pushy so I signed with them for 4 treatments just to get rid of them. I will certainly remember you next year.

I switched to free spray last year with hopes that they could improve my lawn. The first application the guy skipped half of our backyard. They did send someone back out to complete the job. Continued with them through the season and towards the end of the season, I received a call about aeration and overseeding. The guy made a huge deal about how my lawn would look fabulous and how impressed I would be! Even guaranteed the results! Well, Im not impressed one bit. Still have lots of barespots, and now I have an issue with little barley that I did not have last year. It has literally taken over my lawn, and looks horrible! Im so disgusted and pissed off that Ive spent alot of money with this company thinking I would have a great looking lawn this spring! Its anything but, and I will see if they correct the issues. Will update at a later time!

Update: After posting this review, a company manager reached out to me to try making things right. He asked for the opportunity to correct the issues and seemed genuinely concerned that I appeared to have fallen through the cracks. He made a sincere offer and I agreed to give them another chance. They did come out even though it was November and applied their winterization formula. Obviously, there wont be any noticeable results until we get into late spring, but it is my hope that they will honor their word and commitment to my lawn. I will provide another update after the lawn season returns, and am hoping its an opportunity to give positive review. First off, the people you talk to on the phone seem truly concerned, attentive and genuinely nice. But thats where it ends. Before I agreed to use Free Spray, I received assurances that I would have zero issues or complaints, but if I did, they would come right out to correct them so I agreed to the 6-step with grub control program. My lawn didnt look green and healthy after second application and I had a few weeds that seemed to resist the previous visits. I decided to wait until the third application as it was due soon. After the third application, the lawn still looked blah and the weeds were all smiles. About three weeks after that application, I called them to explain the situation, even mentioning my neighbors lawn that receives no treatment whatsoever and is regularly mowed painfully short, looks better than mine. The woman was super nice and apologetic. She indicated they were going to come out and retreat my lawn and treat each weed to eliminate them, at no cost to me. I was happy, they actually do what they said they would do... Except they didnt/dont! I wasnt there to witness it, but about three weeks after that free application, which they left an invoice for so it wasnt free, I called back. I indicated it looks like they just stuck a flag in my yard and left. The lawn still looks bad and the weeds dont even look ill, much less dead or dying. She indicated she would get with the manager/boss and he would contact me to resolve this. No call, text or email. I called back a week later to notify her that I havent received the promised follow-up. I offered to send photos so they could see what I see and she said where to send them. I took photos and emailed them. A week later, no contact of any sort from them so I called back. Once again, the woman indicated she would have the boss review the photos and get back to me. I could sense there was a tone of annoyance in her voice this time. FYI, the same woman answered every time and I know her name, but have chosen not to identify her in this review. That was in September and its now the second week of November. Probably safe to say Im never going to get that callback. Suffice it to say not only do I NOT RECOMMEND them, I wholeheartedly advise avoiding them as the chances youll be satisfied is slim to none. Further, its clear they dont honor their commitments, promises or their contract so youre better off putting the money in a paper bag and setting it on fire.

EVERY person Ive dealt with at Free Spray has been friendly, professional and kind. I have a bare spot in the front yard that they have attempted to get grass to grow---so far, its not perfect, but I trust that they will keep track of the issue and make it right. They are good, good people.

I called them and they came out within two days and my lawn was covered in weeds and dandelions and within a day or two they had all spiraled down and died and have yet to return. I am so happy with this service and cannot believe the results were as fast as they were and how friendly the gentleman on the phone was and I was not expecting the results to be as fast and accurate as they were.

Free Spray is easy to work with, and is responsive. Their service to top quality. Service calls on the day before any treatment would be the only recommendation that would provide back to this company. I would like to speak with the technologist onsite during the day of treatment.

Do not use Free Spray Lawn Care. After giving them the benefit of the doubt, my lawn is actually worse than before. I called to cancel a couple of weeks ago and the rep begged me not to while throwing out insane incentives. I agreed to ONLY have them do a free lawn test and they went ahead and sprayed/billed me again. Constantly trying to upsell you on other treatments and I was even billed for one I didn t agree to. STAY AWAY!

I agreed to have the grubworm prevention via a phone conversation with Bill. I was not notified when the treatment would take place. I was out of town when the treatment was applied and did not realize I should water the lawn after treatment until 4 days later when I returned home. I believe I should have been notified in advance and I could have made arrangements with someone to have the lawn watered. I m not sure if that treatment worked or not.

I have used Free Spray for many years. Service is always good and people seem nice. However, this past year, I was charged for services that I did not know I was receiving, and I had a huge bill. So just know, if you sign up for an extra service one year, they will automatically schedule it for you from year to year without notification. I have since cancelled my extra service and payed my large bill, but Free Spray could definitely do better when it comes to notifying costumers of upcoming recurring expensive treatments they do not necessarily want.

For this season, we switched to Freespray. I gave the previous company several years (4) to resolve the problems with the backyard grass. They failed to do this and also dropped the ball on treating for a bug infestation that was specifically pointed out to me by a tech. That was the last straw. The yard is slightly better, but I am giving Freespray more time as one season is tough to do a turnaround repair and we have had a terrible dry spell over the last 3 weeks. I am hopeful, moving forward, that they will provide an upgrade in service and focus on getting the grass looking good again.

Terrible service stay away from this company

After trying several different lawn care providers, I was left unsatisfied and unsure what to do about the health of my lawn. I called free spray lawn care, After the first treatment , the results were extremely noticeable. Ive used them for one season so far and my lawn has NEVER looked better than it does now! I will continue using them and its nice having the piece of mind knowing that free spray cares as much about my lawn as I do!

I called for an estimate, then declined service. A tech showed up to spray our lawn months later saying he had orders. Turns out, that the guy who gave me an estimate, Bob, lied and stated I agreed to services even though I didn t. This was all after having to block his number because he pestered me with calls for weeks even after I told him we didn t want service. The tech and the lady in the office I spoke to on the phone were both polite, but I will never do business with a company that employs somebody as dishonest as Bob.

Had my third application On my lawn done it was for weed control and the guy over sprayed it and stressed the lawn out now my lawn is brown. Poor quality will never use them again

Switched to free spray from the other big big company after many many years as we were happy,,,,But, moving forward since covid in 2020 we believe product was watered down because weeds were not responding! Had several free treatments too later saw some improvement but lawn had never been weed free I d even take 90% weed free. Nope! They kept coming,,, So Time for a change. Received a mail advertisement and called Free Spray to discuss our current problem& needs. When I spoke with Free Spray representative( very nice) at original phone consult, I definitely told him we desire the same spaces sprayed which previous company was treating. Which are: front lawn and sides of lawn, with sides being: to the BACK the property line. Knowing he can see an Ariel view via the internet I Again explained by detail where the back ends with landmarks. He agreed. Not home to meet/ chat or watch with our 1st and second treatments, but noticing weeds. On sides .ugh! Front however looking good! I was home on treatment 3 , & spoke personally with certified applicator and when I questioned him asking if our sprays were being done to back of property, he said: well, generally Sides are done to the back of the house & he d have to check with the office, Me : well, now , that explains things and that s not what I discussed / requested at the time of setting up my By Spray #4 , I was also at home and I explained all the above,,, Anthony, He sprayed as requested and was also to remind management. Thank you Anthony! Hence why I didn t give 5 stars, as I m still deciding. It s TBA ,whether we use this company again next spring. However If they do as requested and our certified applicator is informed and does what we requested; we will .

Yard looks great

The yard didnt die, but no other real difference. They kept forgetting to do the back yard or the edges of the yard and when they called me to try to sell me the fall aerating service, they came out anyway and charged me $200 when I told them no. They will come out and do it again if you call them and tell them they forgot to do the back yard etc but you shouldnt have to do that.

They treated half my yard the side they treated has large spots with zero grass,the lawn untreated looks much better with no dead areas. I have lived here 36 years and this is the first time I have ever had Japanese beetles.

They have burnt my yard unbelievably. If I could post pics on here I definitely would. Two days after my fourth treatment I noticed burn spots all over my yard. Then they sent me a text about Army Worms I had never heard of them before. So I thought that was what was wrong with my yard they came out and the tech said yup you have Army worms . Funny how none of my neighbors had them it s probably been about a month or so since they have been here and my yard still has very bad burn spots If you use this business just know you have been warned !!!!

My yard looks absolutely terrible and has never looked worse

First treatment was for crab grass. Second treatment was for more weeds species. They also applied lime to the yard. Reassured the grubs wouldnt be an issue this year. The yard looks like a dirt track, Ive never seen my families grass look so sad. In a couple days they are coming back to rectify this situation. If they succeed we will give credit, if it gets worse.....we will inform. September 2020.

Wish I could give Free Spray Lawn Care a negative star rating. That may not give this company justice. The length of time on a call with the customer service rep as well as the lack of commitment to eliminate weeds has pushed me to write this review. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Need a good looking lawn... Call Free Spray

Im sorry I every heard of free spray, they killed my grass and flowers, my weeds look great. Cant get my money back.

I personally would not recommend Free Spray. We signed up for a 6 month spray treatment, by August 2018, we had only had 3 treatments done and we prepaid in February 2018. We ended up moving, therefore, needed a refund. I called in August to let them know and gave them our new address to send a refund check to. It is now the end of December and after many calls to them to find out where our check was, we finally received it, and short. When I spoke to Kyle, he told me the amount to be refunded, which was correct. There was no explanation with the check or any other invoice showing any amounts...it was also difficult to get John to call me back, thats why I was always having to call them! I do not personally think that is a professional way to do business, it was almost like they didnt want to refund us our money.

I wouldnt even give a 1 star , all I asked for was a spray to kill the weeds in my yard and my yard is all brown now they argued that I am obligated to have the 5 sprays done tell me why the hell would I want you to come back and finish killing off my lawn , I see this is going to get real ugly.

Im only 2 service calls into my yearly lawn care. After the first service my lawn looked better than other lawns in my area. They had weeds and my lawn was free and clear. My lawn looked dark green and theirs looked more yellow. My utility companies cannot seem to lock my gate and I worry about my dogs getting out. Free Spray locked it up each time. I will update this later in the year.
