I have received lawn care services from Total Lawn Care (TLC) since 2011. I have been complimented many times on how healthy and beautiful my lawn looks, and I always reply that all the credit goes to Total Lawn Care. In addition to mowing services, I receive lawn maintenance and chemical applications, including tick control, fall and spring cleanup, and snow removal services. The office staff and ground crews at TLC are always personable and professional. When I need something done, such as mulching, landscaping, or tree work, I quickly call Caroline, the Office Manager, to express my request. In turn, Todd, the TLC Owner, quickly responds with an estimate, and shortly after, the work is scheduled and completed on time. The quality of the work consistently exceeds my expectations.

We have been customers of Total Lawn Care (TLC) ever since we moved here almost 30 years ago. Initially TLC took care of spring, summer and fall clean up, including pruning and care of trees and scrubs. One year our whole front yard had to be redone because of a sewer pipe break. TLC came up with a new design and did all the work. Over the years TLC has installed several walkways, and placed bushes and trees on both sides of our property to give us more privacy. More recently TLC has been mowing our lawn. We appreciate TLC's abilities to do many things to meet our landscaping and lawn care needs.

Todd and his super friendly team have been part of my "extended family" since 2019. They take care of my lawn from spring through the fall and take on the snow in the driveway when Upstate NY's winter hits you with all its force. Sometimes, when needed, they will plow your driveway multiple times a day. Whenever there is a problem or a question, just give them call!

My family has used Total Lawn Care for many, many years. They are very thorough, arrive on time, and clean up well. We recently used them for fall leaf cleanup. They spent the better part of 90 minutes clearing our entire property of leaves and other debris. All of it was put at the edge of our property to prepare to be taken away in their trailer. One of the men came up to the door and said a part of the trailer had broken and they'd be back. Sure enough, the very next morning they were back and removed all of the debris promptly and carefully. We will continue to use them in the future.

DO NOT HIRE!! If their driving skills are any indication of their craftsmanship then its unprofessional, unfriendly, and poor quality. Driver proceeded to try racing me attempting to improperly merge. When he failed he tailgated me and then laid on his horn flipping me off, dangerously driving off the shoulder when I proceeded to make a left hand turn. Absolutely unacceptable driving behavior for someone in control of such a large vehicle.

I have lived in the area for many years and have had contracts with several other snow removal companies. This is by far the worst company I have employed. The main issue is they just don't come. For example, yesterday, we had a big snow storm, and they did not come out to plow until 10:45am. I was stuck at home, unable to leave. It is now 9am (next day) and my driveway has again not been plowed so I cannot go to work (again). Do not hire them to plow for you if you have a job you need to get to. I signed a contract and paid for the whole season. Calling their office to complain does nothing. I will update this review if the situation improves over the rest of the season.
