Edgar and his team are awesome. They do a phenomenal job, are very knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and are great to work with.

Our back yard was full of 200 foot trees and other smaller ones. We needed help getting dead branches and trees thinned out. Before they began our back yard received no sunlight. When they left everything was brighter and open. Our yard looked twice as big. The team arrived on time. They built safety in first and then went to work and did not stop. As the branches fell they cleaned up. They carried everything to the wood-chucker. They cleaned up the entire backyard. This team even went the extra mile and trimmed down my other bushes-they looked out place with everything being so clean and open. If you are looking for a respected business, polite workers with expertise to get you what you want-don t look any further. This is the team. We are very happy!

Updating my review just to say that Ive continued to use King Tree Services over the past two year since I posted my original review 2 years ago (below), and Im just as happy now as I was then. We have a lot of trees on our property, and so they need to be tended to from time to time, and Edgar and his crew are always here promptly and do a wonderful job. I highly recommend you give them a try! Original review: I wish I had found King Tree Services years ago! I had been using another tree service over the past 10 years or so, and although they were always top-notch as far as their service, they were much more expensive - ridiculously so, Ive since discovered. I wont name them because they are also very good at what they do. But I wouldnt recommend them unless price is of no importance to you. Edgar gave me an incredibly fair price to take down two large Silver Maples (approx. 40 and 50 tall) and haul away all of the debris. They were careful to not disturb our yard (which just had new sod put down this past Spring), and carefully replaced everything that they needed to move. Due to certain logistics regarding where the trees had been located, I couldnt have the stumps ground. But Edgar was able to saw the stumps down practically to ground level. I really cant say enough good things about Edgar and his crew or recommend them highly enough. They were on-time, considerate and thoughtful, attentive to detail, and highly efficient. I will be using King Tree Services from now on for all my future tree care.

We had previously had Edgar and his crew handle some tree work for us but recently had him help us with a major clean up of our property and had to spread the word. In addition to being a very pleasant down to earth guy that is very easy to talk to, Edgar has an amazing eye for landscaping and pays such attention to detail. Our yard was transformed. His crew was also very polite and friendly, tolerating our two young daughters following them around and watching the work in progress. In 2012, I had two big trees in my backyard (one close to my house and the other near the property line), and King Tree Services did a nice job in removing them. They were professional, efficient and took-care of my house, patios and near by fences. They were very reasonable in their price as well. I am going to use them again to remove two additional trees. I needed bushes removed from around an electrical box. I reached out for an estimate and 1 week later they are gone! Not only were they super fast and responsive, the price was perfect and they did an amazing job removing the bushes and cleaning up the debris. Excellent customer service and very professional work. I had them cut down a large 100+ year old maple and grind out the stump. Janeth and the rest of the team were very responsive and accommodating throughout the whole process. Work was done in a couple of hours, without incident. All debris cleaned up and hauled away promptly.

I needed a Crape Myrtle pruned. I received a return call, quote and appointment within 2 days. They did a great job at a very reasonable price and didn t top the tree. Very knowledgeable and professional! Will definitely use again!

Very pleased with King Tree Services work on our trees. They had to clean and remove dead wood for a large elm and cedar trees; to prune a mature oak and to train to structural prune a young oak. We had a large tree fall on the roof of our home. Edgar visited to assess the situation and made arrangements to have the tree removed the following day. He and his team not only removed the tree, but they transported the larger logs to our neighbors yard (since he had requested the wood), and the roots of the tree were ground-up the following day, as promised. This is the second time we have used King Tree Services and we will continue to use them for our tree needs in the future.

They did an amazing job pruning my Bradford Pear tree to allow more air flow and curb the fungus that had started to grow. They cleaned up afterwards and not a leaf could be found on the ground. I HIGHLY recommend!

We had 3 large overgrown pear trees with limbs that kept breaking off onto our property and decided to take them down. Edgars love for trees and his knowledge was reassuring. The crew worked quickly and safely because our house was on one side and a fence on the other side of the trees. They had all three trees down in 2 hours. We had a very overgrown Nellie Stevens holly tree that was in dire need of pruning. I saw positive reviews for Kings Tree Services on Nextdoor, so I called them yesterday morning and spoke to Edgar. He came by the house in the afternoon, and I could tell immediately that he knew what he was talking about! (I also had another company come look at the tree, just to be sure)There was no comparison so I contacted Edgar last night and his crew of 2 came this afternoon and did an amazing job, it looks like a new tree! When they were done they cleaned up every leaf and branch off of our lawn. We couldn t have picked a better company and I highly recommend them.

Edgar and his crew trimmed 5 trees for us today. Every part of the service was great! They were easy to contact for an estimate and came out the next day. Edgar was very knowledgeable about what was needed to maintain the integrity of my trees but open up the canopy and get some sunlight to my poor yard. The price quoted was considerably less than others I had received. Between speaking with Edgar (a certified arborist) and reading other great reviews, I decided to schedule service. They were able to come out within the week and were very punctual. They did a great job trimming and were very considerate to clean up the yard when they were done. King Tree Services is a excellent company. We were concerned with the health of our 4 large maples, but were very reassured by their knowledge, expertise, and conservative approach. TLDR: VERY GOOD, Highly Recommended. Really good work by this company. I was really impressed. The trimmed my 80ft Maple tree that hovers over several delicate flowers, bushes and reaching over my house. They were able to do all this without damaging my landscaping without cutting corners. Taking their time to do the job right. My tree looks the best it has ever looked. 2 Person crew cleaned up very well after they were done and that is very hard to do with Maple trees.

King Tree Services was so quick to respond to our request and provided a reasonable estimate over the phone. They were surprisingly available the next day and showed up right on time to the appointment. Three people removed overgrown plants in the mulch beds surrounding our home in four hours. They were extremely efficient and cleaned up the area thoroughly. I cant recommend them enough and will be reaching out to them for future projects in the future.

Edgar is certified arborist and is very knowledgable about tree care. I was concerned that they not do anything too dramatic but my tree was way overdue for thinning out. They did quite a bit of work and filled their truck with dead limbs and necessary trimming around the street and electric wires. I definitely think i got my moneys worth. Hope to have them back for more next winter.

Edgar and his team did a great job cutting down my huge dead trees and snapped limbs. There was a tricky dead tree hanging over my shed and they worked hard to remove it without damage to the shed. Edgar was friendly and professional and I would recommend King Tree Service.

We had a large tree that was cracked and in danger of hitting the house. King Tree Service came out and developed a plan to remove it which involved having climbers in the nearby trees. The day of the appointment they were on time and removed the tree as planned without doing any damage to the house. All this was done at a very reasonable price.

When Edgar came out he gave us some suggestions on what needed to be done and was extremely knowledgeable about the different types of trees, bushes, and plants we had in our yard. Tried to use this business because of the high reviews. I made a request for a quote. Was contacted quickly. and was told that they could come by the same day. I rearranged my afternoon to be available when they said they would arrive and not 5 minutes later, I then got a text that they would have to come the next day. I confirmed for them to arrive today between 8 and 9. Got a confirming email AND text for 8am. No one showed. No one called. at 945 I just couldnt wait any longer. I sent a text and email letting them know I am cancelling the appointment. If they couldnt commit to the TWO times they provided and confirmed then I dont trust that they will follow through on the work.

Very happy I followed the glowing reviews from so many other happy customers. This family team is incredibly professional. Edgar provided a thorough assessment of the trees on our property, stressing the importance of performing minimal but necessary management. Edgar and his team were truly outstanding! Knowing Edgar is a certified Arborist, I called upon him to trim 4 trees, 2 large/tall holly bushes, 2 Crepe Myrtle, and a burning bush hedge row. He gave us a very reasonable estimate. His work (and that of his team) was second to none. He took his time to make sure everything was trimmed properly and in a very thorough/detailed manner. Edgar and his team used hand saws to provide a nice clean cut of branches, supporting the health of the trees and bushes. Really great company. I had them take down a tree, trim another and dig up some unsightly bushes on the property I just purchased. They responded to my inquiry promptly, gave me a quote and scheduled the service for soon after, since I wanted to get the work done ASAP. Everyone I spoke to at the company was super nice, and they did great work. Ill be having them come back in the spring to do a lot more work in the yard.
