Weed Man Lawn Care in Manassas

Finally cancelled my service. It's been kinda meh the whole time but i just put up with it because it was cheaper than competitors. Last year they informed me that someone had mis-measured my yard and after many years they were going to adjust prices. My aeration and overseeding went from $216 to $391. I'm on a 1/4 acre lot this seems excessive. Yard doesnt look that great either.

Our lawn has been terrible ever since we built our house in 2009. The builder put in sod and I diligently followed Scott's Weed & Feed schedule, but it never really worked. In our first year with Weed Man, our lawn was dramatically improved. We're now in our second year and our lawn looks AMAZING. Their pricing is better than TruGreen and, as a dad, I love the pun in their name.

Even though we did see an improvement in our lawn during th me first year of service, by the end of the 2nd year, the grass looked like it was not being fertilized. It quickly became obvious that there was no way to determine whether services were being performed or not. We would Come home from work and see the sign on the Weedman sign on the lawn and a few sprinkles of granules on the sidewalk but none whatsoever in the grass. One weekday my wife was home and saw the Weedman truck pull up and sit in front of the house for over 30 minutes. She then noticed one person walking along the edge of the driveway and install the Weedman sign on the lawn. When she went out and confronted him, he said he was already done. We have a large yard and there was no way he had performed the the service in the time they had been there. When she asked him to show her what he had done, he quickly backtracked and said he was about to start. We decided to part ways with Weedman at the end of the season. This type of business requires a great deal of oversight of employees. Weedman needs to ensure that their people in the field are actually performing the services they are being paid to perform.

Our lawn is positively gorgeous thanks to Weed Man service. From day one, their techs assessed our issues, trouble spots and were on it to make us one of the most beautiful lawns in our neighborhood. They're efficient, prompt and always come when they say they will. The techs are personable and friendly and can answer any lawn question. We receive a complete explanation about what service was done and what services are on the schedule to be done. We pull into our driveway and just marvel at how great we look and how proud we are of our curb appeal. Weed Man is responsible for our success. Great company !

Weed Man has responded quickly and effectively to every request that I have made for lawn service. They provide excellent basic lawn fertilization and weed control maintenance as well as problem resolution when needed. The technicians are knowledgeable and friendly and go out of their way to explain what they are doing while also answering all of my questions. They let me know when they are coming and show up on time. My lawn has never looked better.

Moving into a new home 9 months ago, contacted Weedman and 2 other companies for estimates on a yearly lawn care plan. Weedman came in the lowest in terms of cost, so I decided to go with them. One of the other companies I had used at another home for years and they were much higher in cost, but I knew their service was good. I took a chance on Weedman, based on the cost savings and treating about 3 acres of property. I have been pleasantly surprised by the communication, the service level from both those in the office and technicians doing my treatments. Very informative, always discussing what is being done and why, and I just can't beat the Value that I am getting. We have been with The Weed Man for controlling our weeds, managing pests & deer ticks, and keeping our lawn green since 2011. We met Alan, the owner, at a Horticulture Event in 2011 and he was so knowledgeable about Virginia lawns, shrubbery, trees and even weeds. We have been so happy with their personal attention and services to our lawn and to us. They have a motto "do whatever it takes for the customer to be happy"... and they stand behind that. We have never had an issue with them and it is very comforting to know that our lawn is in good hands with this company. Their prices are good and below competition, in some cases. They are consistent and very professional... but with a hometown attitude. We strongly recommend WEED MAN, Manassas, VA for your lawn and weed care.
