There are several things I did not enjoy about this service… but let’s start with our first experience with them we moved into a house and the yard had not been cut in awhile. It was over a week before they even came out, quoted $50. They came out and said much taller than they anticipated and had to reschedule for the next week. Really unprofessional and unprepared in my opinion. So- even longer at this point… They finally came out but cut the grass WAY too short, it was all green and then we ended up with 70% brown spots. It cost three times what they quoted and left several bags in front of my house. For that price YOU should take it and dispose of it! Are you kidding?! When I called to ask about it they never called back. We are new to the area and had to wait 3 weeks for the tree trimming / yard clipping pick up. I also don’t like that they expect you to keep a card of file and do not disclose pricing before hand. Also they REQUIRE you to get it cut every week whether it needs it or not. Absolutely not. No thank you, do not recommend. *** response: I never mentioned not coming to bag the grass. That happened the same day. So I don’t know what you are talking about. Our original appointment was NOT kept because you were not prepared. Period. And no one came back until that next week. Secondly, the trash DOES not dispose of yard clippings and will NOT so no it is not an exaggeration, don’t get rude with me. The bags of clippings sat on the curb for weeks. Yard clippings pick up is only once a month. Per the city. As for the Bermuda grass having to be shorter and that is the reasoning , there are spots you can see down to the dirt so don’t tell me it isn’t too short, you haven’t directly seen it. And it is still has brown patches despite every day watering! And NO, we were not told ahead of time that it would be 3x the original quoted price. It was just charged. The fact that you feel the need to get snippy instead of straight up apologize for your lack of service is comical. But go ahead.

Loved the young man who mowed my yard for the first time this mowing season. Being Fescue, it had gotten a little higher than the 4" standard, he was careful in cutting. The only 'ding' was in his blowing off of the driveway and walkway, the clippings were blown into the mulch and Lava rock in the shrubs and flower beds. And, in blowing the front walkway, it was blown toward the front porch. One should always blow clippings AWAY from beds and porches. The porch and patios should have been blown if I recall my contract correctly.

Kyle did an amazing job on our front and back yards! We just purchased our home, and it was a mess. He made it look so much better. Very responsive & kind. Highly recommend!

I recently used Augusta Lawn Care of Madison for lawn mowing and maintenance. I found their lawn service to be of poor quality and cancelled it after one month. After I received the invoice, I questioned what I believe was an unreasonable overcharge. It took 3 separate phone calls from me over a two week period to finally get a response from them. Their response was an email justifying the overcharge and stating that I needed to remit the full payment ASAP to avoid late fees or being sent to collections. I immediately paid the full invoice and will never use their services again. There are some good lawn services in Madison, but I would avoid this business for their poor customer service, unprofessional communication and poor quality lawn maintenance.

After two weeks of excuses and not returning phone calls i receive an email notification of a price increase. If that wasn’t bad enough I get another email that they will no longer be serving my area East Huntsville. This is incredible because trying to establish lawn service in the middle of the season all of the lawn service companies are booked up and. It taking additional clients. The provided some companies with good reputations but that doesn’t help if they’re not taking additional yards!

Decided to make all biweekly services weekly due to the rain. At least give customers the option if they want this since I doubt you are cutting for free. You don't cut at a low setting as it is and then complain that the lawn that you mow gets overgrown in 2 weeks between cuts. This just seems greedly like you want more money. It will make it go up over 100$ a month. Your company also broke my car window while cutting and never said anything to me. You also didn't cut the back properly and left a strip undone every time. Highly unprofessional.

The crew at Augusta are friendly and helpful. They take care with each lawn to insure outstanding results. They have company trucks and well maintained equipment as well as uniform shirts to ensure a top-notch professional presence when on premises. They communicate via text and email to keep me in the loop should anything happen or need to be addressed. Just overall a great company to do business with.

Augusta and the team there are true professionals. They know Lawncare and turf like few I’ve encountered. My father owned one of the larger lawn care and landscaping companies in NY for 20+ years and I can say with some authority that Augusta is in a class of their own. If you live in the Huntsville AL area and you’re serious about your lawn needs and you’re serious about honest value, look no further. Ed M
