Our company was founded on October 15, 2023, in Madison, Wisconsin. Our goal from the start of creating this business was to be the best locally-owned house cleaning service there is. We have worked hard to build our business up from nothing, and now we're helping the community by giving them affordable services while also providing the best quality on the market!

TotalGuard agreed to do snow removal for me this winter, which we agreed upon and had booked a few months in advance before winter began. They didn’t show up after the first snowfall, and after I contacted them, they just said that they no longer do snow removal service. Completely unprofessional to just not show up instead of telling me that they no longer offer that service. I had asked for a contract when we agreed to snow removal services to prevent this happening, but they said that they don’t do contracts for snow removal, and now I see why - so they can cancel at any time. Not sure how their other services are, but based on my experiences I would not recommend.
Whether you're in need of a regular lawn service or a temporary lawn mower, these guys will meet your needs. I needed someone to take care of mowing temporarily, and Vance was out within a week. He was quick and did a fantastic job! He also did trim & blew grass clippings without me needing to ask. He even took the initiative to go over part of my lawn twice because he noticed not all the grass clippings were getting collected. I found him to be very professional, and his work will not disappoint you.
Had a really great experience with Vance at TotalGuard for lawn mowing services. Very quick turnaround on the quote and really reasonable prices. Scheduling was quick and easy and they came and mowed within 24 hours of my original quote request. Quality was great, they clearly take pride in doing a good job and I’d be happy to use them again and recommend them.

Vance was quick to respond to my request, was easy to work with, arrived as promised and did an amazing job with helping to remove weeds that had taken over a plant bed in my yard. His rates were very reasonable. I would highly recommend his service!
Our daughter and her family just moved into a new home and the lawn needed mowing as well as clearing several branches from a recent storm. We called Total Care looking for an estimate and hoping to schedule something within the next few days. After speaking to them, they indicated that they could come out that afternoon! They came out as promised, looked over the yard and gave us a very reasonable price. They got to work and completed the job way quicker than I expected! And it looked great! They cleaned up the fairly large yard, mowed it, and cleaned off the sidewalk and driveway. They were polite, friendly and professional. We would definitely use them again and give them out highest recommendation.

This company said they would perform gutter cleaning on a particular date, didnt show up, said theyd come on another, and did not show up twice more. After three weeks without any services rendered after initial contact, we sought a different provider. Unclear if this is even a legitimate business.
I started out looking in *nextdoor* for someone to mow my lawn on a regular basis. Let me tell you how satisfied I am with my discovery. Total Guard Lawn Care. When the owner Vance and I met, his quote for mowing, weeding flowerbeds, and removing rogue tree-weeds was more reasonable than I expected. I wish I had before and after pictures... but they would never convey the skills and confidence of this small business owner. Im looking forward to Vances help with those pesky autumn leaves.

Got in touch with Vance for lawn mowing via nextdoor. After the initial text I sent to him, we managed to get down to details (what my husband and I wanted done, cost, and how often) fairly fast. We set up the first lawn mowing to be the next day. We agreed time of day didnt matter - just whatever worked for his schedule that day - and he would message us when he was done. We specified that there were was a specific patch of wildflowers my husband would like to remain untouched. The first lawn mowing done, he sent us a picture of the wildflowers to make sure that was the area we were talking about. He then gave us a run-down of what he did including clean-up, weed whacking, etc. We thanked him, paid him, and told him we would keep in touch for the next lawn mow time. Since I was at work that day, I didnt think anything of the lawn; just that it was taken care of. It wasnt until I got home that I saw how great everything had looked. The lines were nice and straight and everything cleaned up. I dont remember the last time our lawn looked so nice. Customer service is important and Vance went above and beyond and all through text. Im much better at explaining my thoughts thru text and I was glad he seemed to prefer the same. Very professional and friendly. Quick to update me. I had forgotten he mentioned he was still in highschool - I thought he was college. He is pretty responsible for a highschool kid. Thanks, Vance, for a great mowing job! Highly recommend this small business and we look forward to getting in touch with him again and getting more yard work done!

The TotalGuard Yard Care boys cleaned my windows without using any hard chemicals or any chemicals at all. Its very surprising seeing young boys do this hard work, but Im very glad I got to meet them.
