Excellent service. Reliable, timely, good advice for any future projects. Very pleasant experience. Built stone base for new shed, and repaired 1 section wall and foundation to seal it up! Very hard workers. Would recommend to neighbors and friends.
We used Nelson's Hardscape & Tree Service to remove ten large pine and oak trees, stump grinding, and to build us a patio at the base of our deck. I have never seen such hard workers! They were here in the morning and sometimes until dinnertime. They were very friendly and answered all of our questions. Plus, Nelson gave us great recommendations. I highly recommend them! We will be using them again in the future to install a fence for us.
Contacted Nelson‘s company through Yelp. They were fast came out same day. Took a look at it while I was away. Called me while there went over what I was looking for. Needed to have my driveway expanded as well as have a dirt and basement cut out to store some trash cans Got to work immediately the next day. Was very nice to work with, finished same day, came out great.
Nelson and his team were very professional and conscientious. They matched the stone to existing stone and created a beautiful garden in our backyard by the sea. He is a true professional in every way I would highly recommend them five star.
After meeting with 8 different landscapers, I found Nelson (the owner) was the most professional and responsive. He was quick to answer my inquiries and provided an estimate and timeline. Nelson and his team did a fantastic landscaping job. They removed our previous mulches, cobblestones, and any remaining trunks from our old tree. Once that area was cleaned, they planted a new Japanese maple tree with new mulches and cobblestones. We reached out to several landscapers in the area and their prices were the most reasonable. My husband (Leo) and I highly recommend them for any landscaping services.
Nelson arrived to appointment and subsequent work days at exactly the time he said. His workers never stopped working from sunrise to sundown and got an entire 110-ft retaining wall removed and rebuilt in 3 days. Repairs to the lawn were made, sprinklers fixed, and everything done immediately upon pointing out any slight changes that needed to be tweaked before he left. Incredibly professional. I wish all contractors I've encountered or used worked as efficiently and as quickly as he does. Bonus, his bid was much lower than competition. A pleasure all around.
I am extremely happy with Nelson's service. They worked hard for 10 hours doing a large clean up, loaming, grassing and removal of a huge amount of brush. They were meticulate, detailed and perfectly cleanuped when done. They're price was very fair. Do not hesitate to hire them as I strongly recommend them!

Excellent service!! I spoke to Nelson prior to his quote that we needed the oak tree s cut, split, and stacked. Nelson s price quote was excellent and the work done immediately with care and quality. The stump grinding was done within days too. Other companies that we researched did not include all the services, which would have made our project a lot longer. Any further work we need on our land we would have confidence using Nelson and his team.

Nelson s hardscape and tree service was unable to keep its appointments. Our estimate was delayed three times. You don t want to work with a firm that cannot keep commitments or negotiate changes in a timely fashion.
Nelson and his team were efficient and professional removing many broken branches in my yard that accumulated from old trees. They also removed shrubs, logs and cleaned up all leaves in yard. Will work with again.

We hired Nelson to remodel a large yard (~ca. 1/6 acre): scraping old grass, reseeding it, installing a sprinkler system, planting a long hedge (40 plants), grinding tree stumps, surrounding the porch with flower beds + mulching and planting, and building elevated flower beds for a vegetable garden. Nelson offered a fair quote, was reliable, responsive, honest, flexible, and eventually he carried out the project as planned. We are very satisfied and recommend his services.

Nelson and his crew are by far the best! I called on him for a last minute rehab of my mother in law s property for lawn mowing, weeding, mulching, and flowers for some outdoor curb appeal and he literally brought this property back to life! It turned out so beautiful. They spent all day cleaning the yard and provided such detail to exactly what I wanted done. The Nelson team did a great job removing a tree from a tight spot on the lot. Highly skilled and very courteous. Would definitely bring them back for tree work in future. Even ground the stump that others said couldn t be done.
Nelson and his crew did a wonderful job pruning the upper areas of 3 of our trees. This involved large, long, heavy trunk limbs at heights up to 3 stories above the ground. They were able to cut & get everything to the ground without any damage to our new fence or the roof of the house. I also appreciated that before the actual work day, he was good about returning ph calls as we had schedule adjustments to account for the weather changes.
Wow! We are so pleased! Nelson and his crew cut back tree branches that were hitting our roof and side porch and also cut down some badly overgrown spreading yews. They responded immediately to our phone call and made quick work of everything with good clean-up. We recommend them highly!

I found Nelson on Yelp. Tuesday I had several people come by to give me an estimate on a tree removal and cutting back on another tree that was hanging to close to my house and limbs going over the neighbors house. He was the first to get in contact with me and come for the estimate . He quoted 700 $ cheaper than the other ones. I was a little leery at first because he was so much less. I looked at his reviews on Yelp and checked out his website . I trusted my instincts and went with Nelson. He and his team came out the very next day. He was running late but called me right away to keep me informed which I did appreciate.They were all polite and professional in how they presented. It was amazing to watch the process and I was not let down. It only took them around 5 hours. Any questions I had Nelson was more than willing to answer. They did a great job with the trees and cleaned up everything. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

We have a big old oak tree which had a good sized branch rubbing against our shingles in windy weather. Nelson and his helper did a great job of removing that branch and other dead wood in the tree. Good price and they cleaned up well, after the trimming was done.
We were amazed and therefore fully impressed when Nelsons came and took a smallish but difficult tree trimming job (high up in huge trees and way out on iffy limbs) and they tackled it with a smile and confidence! They were ingenious in their approach and thorough start to finish. They roped up into the trees, safely cut and brought down the limbs, cut them to specification and stacked the wood where requested. They fully removed they discard, then cleaned the yard as though they were never there. Great work! Highly recommended. Capable, quiet but friendly dependable work. We will call on them whenever we have future tree work. Nelsons was least expensive while providing the richest return given they were by far more reasonably priced than 4 other estimates. SO happy to have found Nelsons!
