Michael from Lopez Landscaping and Tree Service responded quickly when a tree in our driveway began shedding large limbs. Elisandro and his partner were focused and careful but also quick and efficient in removing a large dangling widow maker from the tree. At the time, they recommended removing the unhealthy, damaged tree and gave us a very fair quote to do the job. We were resistant to remove the only shade tree on our property but said wed consider it. Just two days later, the same tree created major chaos and destroyed my car. Elisandro returned, again with just one other crew member, and took the huge old tree down. Their focus on safety was reassuring, and it was fascinating to watch them. Lopez has an impressive array of trucks and equipment and obvious deep knowledge and experience as arborists. Were grateful they were available for this project and would hire them again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended family business.

We just had the Lopez crew in to remove about 12 trees . They did it all in 1 day with stumps removed and cleanup . The price was reasonable and quick service . Would definitely use them again .

Extremely Disappointed - Unethical Business Practices I had a very frustrating experience with this company. Initially, we agreed on a price for a specific job, and everything seemed fine. However, upon arrival, they demanded more money for the exact same work! There was no change in the scope of the project, so I can only question their integrity and business ethics. This is not how people should conduct business. It s incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. I am sharing my experience in my Google review to reflect the true nature of how this company operates since I chose them based on the prior positive feedback. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere! It gets better, after leaving this review, I received numerous calls from the owner asking me to remove the review and threatening me if I did not remove it! STAY AWAY

Great group of hard working guys who do excellent work. They took down a huge tree in my yard, climbed rocks to take down several large bushes and pruned another maple and pine tree. They are certainly skilled in this profession and I wouldn t hesitate to recommend them!!

These guys don t mess around! I had a unique tree removal scenario that required both their bucket truck and them to climb up in some 80 foot pine trees. They operated safely and took great care to not damage my house especially when some large branches were growing over the house. It was really cool watching them jump around the trees and it was even better to get this project taken care of safely and efficiently! Their prices were also very reasonable considering the skill and equipment necessary to complete the job. They cleaned up after themselves and I can t say enough good things about the quality of their work! Highly recommend if you need free service!

I regret accepting this company quote. They cut down the trees in my house and dump the log in my backyard, They also grind the tree stomp and refuse to remove the wood chips as described on the contract. I have continue to request from them to pick up the logs but it is time for me to force them to comply with the contract. This is a done since February 2023.

Lopez Landscaping & Tree Service cut and trimmed over 15+ trees of mine, most of them reaching spans of 60ft+. They were the most professional team I have ever dealt with, and were able to complete a massive job for a very reasonable price in only 1 day. They were able to quote me and begin the job only 3 days later. Further, they left the area spotless; I would say even cleaner than the state they found it in. If you need tree cutting/trimming, this is a phenomenal company to work with. I highly recommend them.

Similar situation like the other poor reviews, Michael ghosted me! We communicated thru text and we agreed on date/time to meet so I could show him the tree I wanted cut. That morning I texted him again confirming the meet at my house at 4:30pm mainly because I was leaving work early for this appt. I called and text Michael several times after 4:40pm and he finally replied back via text saying he was running late because of traffic in Boston and then when I asked about his eta, he stopped responding. I waited about another 10 minutes for a response from him and nothing, so I told him if he was on his way, nvm, do not come. Poor business practice and definitely doesnt respect other peoples time. Im sure he offers good service to some which is how he have so many great reviews, maybe hes selective with who he works with, idk! Not reliable or trustworthy

The entire team at Lopez was extremely pleasant to work with. They showed up on time, completed some difficult work in a tight spot with their crane, and left the site cleaner than it was when they arrived. Will continue to use them for other projects

Had a huge overgrown arborvitae removed from our front yard and they did a great job for a reasonable price. They couldn t bring in a stump grinder because of the location of the space they were working and the retaining wall, but they cut it so low you can t even tell. Looks even better than we d hoped for. Quick and very thorough. Would use them again in a heartbeat. Thanks Mike!

I cannot say enough good things about Lopez Tree and Landscaping. They called me back within the same day and came out to give me an estimate the next day. They came to remove VERY LARGE maple tree and it was complicated to get to in my yard with equipment. They climbed the tree and took it down piece by piece. They also spoke with my neighbor as we needed to be in their yard somewhat too. This company left my yard looking perfect and they are the utmost professional. Michel lopez showed up and gave me a quote on the work to be done at my home in West Roxbury Ma. I have a row of green giant evergreens that stand 22 high and run up the side of my yard 25 total of 7 trees. Also removed a limb of a Mapple tree that was over my garage. His crew showed up as scheduled 5 days later. The Equipment was very impressive. The only way they could get up to the top was ina bucket truck. They proceeded to hand prune the trees. They did an incredible job. I could not believe how much they removed. They cleaned up and left my yard spotless. Matt M

I found them on Google and they came to my house and gave me a good and fair price to prune a tall oak tree in my yard. They were at my house at 7:30 am the next day. Favio is a great guy with over 30 years exprerience. His son is stepping right into his Dads shoes and does a great job. I brought them to my job and my boss hired them to prune a tree and remove 2 others. Again, on time, neat, professional, fair pricing. I would recommend them with the highest regards.

Mr. Lopez quoted $600 less than a competitor who would take down the tree from using the street. He said his team would lay down plywood to drive into the yard and we wouldn t even notice they were there. His team did not use plywood to exit the yard and left tire grooves which now needs loam and reseed. In the end, 2 fence post caps were broken off, fence posts beaten up, an above ground section of sprinkler system cut off, and trash was left in my yard. When asked to fixed the tire marks, he said it s not a big deal. When asked about the sprinkler system, he said it s not his problem. He was only willing to replace the fence post caps after 3 months. It cost me more to fix my landscape than he saved me to cut down the tree. You d think Lopez Landscaping and Tree Service would consider the landscape. Update: no resolution but the son (co-owner) did call with a sincere apology.

Michael Lopez came to my place to look at the job to grind to stump trees and give me a quote. We agree on a date and time for the job. I tried to reach him the night before and the morning of that morning, He ignored every calls and text message. I live in Boston he asked me to reserved the space in front of my house to park his large truck as one can imagine living in the city is was very inconvenient to my neighbors but they understood when I told them why. Having done all that Michael was very unprofessional never contacted me and decided not to show up. If you want to take a chance and use this business go ahead but know there is no respect of your time or professionalism from the owner of this business.

Extremely satisfied with their services. I had several 40+ feet pine trees behind my house that needed a crane for removal. Several other companies raised concerns about the safety of cutting them down and the challenges in getting the crane in the correct position. Lopez landscaping simply said, we are able to do it. When I asked about the crane position, the answer was simply it will reach and don t worry we can also climb to get the job done. They came on time, prepared the area and equipment, and several hours later 7 trees were gone. They cleaned up really well and left no marks on my new driveway where the crane was placed. I highly recommend them.

Ive had a lot of people drive large trucks into our backyard but NONE OF THEM were as careful as Lopez Landscaping because they are the only company who ever put down large plastic grass protectors to drive on. I called several companies to get an estimate to cut down several large trees and trim all the trees on the property, but Michael was our best bet. The price and time were reasonable. The team was very competent, the day they did the job they noticed a dead tree that we didnt consider in our original quote but Michael agreed to remove it for a very reasonable price because there was a high risk of the tree falling on our house. They couldnt finish the job in 1 day but came back later to complete it and took care of the cleanup. I highly recommend it.

We had a very large and over grown hedge that was in dire need of trimming . Mr. Lopez explained their method of hand cutting in order to ensure a full, healthy hedge. It was A LOT of work. Miguel and his team did a great job today in removing an Ash tree. They put a lot of care in assuring that my irrigation system doesnt get damaged, and my lawn doesnt suffer. For this, the branches were taken down carefully and the trunk segments were directed to the right place. Before the work, protective sheets were laid out on the lawn. After the work, all was diligently cleaned up and the whole workspace looked as if nothing had happened, and a tree just miraculously disappeared. We are very happy with the work done by Mike and his team. He came across many hurdles and had to make follow up trips to complete the work. However, he didn t shy away from it and made sure that work is completed to our satisfaction. Very happy with his service.

The owner quoted me a price of $1500, took a $200 deposit & didnt show up OR CALL the appointed day. When I finally reached him he claimed it was because of the weather.He left the tree trunks at 12. When I observed him packing up & approached him about finishing the job he insisted it would cost an additional $500 to take them down to five feet. When I handed him a check for $1300 & balked about the $500 , he claimed the agreed total was $1600. I should have insisted on having all the details in writing.

The guys came out and did a great job! They cut down thick and overgrown grass plants as well as bushes. They also raked around my home. Afterwards, everything was cleaned up. I plan on using them again in the spring.

They did a good job with tree trimming October 2022, but a small area of trees with branches growing around our electrical wires was missed. I reached out to Michael several times from October through December, and each time was promised the job would be finished that same week or the week after. It is now January 15th, and the job remains incomplete. I find it unreasonable that I have had to chase this company in order to get a simple job completed. Please do better.

Lopez Tree Service did an amazing job removing a branch that broke and was caught up in our tree. We called them and they were over the same day to review the situation and give me a quote. Michael was great. He came out the very next day to give me an estimate. I have called several companies and was either told I had to weight 4-6 weeks or they were asking too much for there services. The process required a large crane, so it was quite a show. Michael s team was able to remove 3 massive pine trees and did some light trimming. Lopez Landscaping and Tree Service did such a great job removing a big dead tree from our front yard. It was near the power lines but that was no problem for them as they had the right equipment to do it. They came when they said they would and charged a very reasonable price. The job was very professionally done and I love that they are a family business. I will definitely call on them if I have any future tree/landscaping needs. Very pleased.

I received a quote that day and was provided a date they would come. The morning of they showed up at 7:30am ready to go. They cleaned everything and removed all the debris. I had reached out to around six different tree trimming companies near where I live seeking to get a quote to cut down some tree branches overhanging my house. This company got back to me first, arranged a time that day to come look at the job, and gave me an estimate that seemed fair. Two other companies eventually responded, over a week later, but neither could figure out when theyd be able to send anyone to come give me an estimate. I decided to hire Lopez Landscaping and was happy with the results. They did a great job cutting the branches and even raked up some of the leaves and small branches that had fallen during the job. Only thing that was strange was that they showed up on a different day than when they said they would do the job.

Very pleased with Lopez Landscapings tree trimming, removal, and stump grinding work at our home. Knowledgeable about the health of the trees and listened attentively about what we hoped to have done. Also of note: they managed to grind down some stumps that were very close to a concrete retainer wall that other companies said they would not be able to work on. Highly recommend.

Fabio and his crew did a great job landscaping around the house. He provided a fair and better estimate than anyone else right off the bat, and he was very easy to communicate with throughout the process.

The guys did a great job. They were strategic and methodical about taking a tree down that had wires crossing through it. They were efficient, and cleaned up afterwards. I definitely recommend them.

We have worked with a number of tree companies over the years. Some great, some terrible. We have worked with Lopez twice now and both experiences have been great. We were referred to Lopez by friends who had a positive experience with them. The two jobs theyve done for us so far ranged from large removals to maintenance pruning and both were handled expertly. They do not have the most expert tree knowledge of the companies weve worked with in that a certified arborist is not quoting/running every job, but there is no question theyre highly experienced at what they do. In addition, unlike many of their competitors, theyve always been responsive to quote, fairly priced, and more prompt to fit us in their schedule than anyone else. And the quality of work has always been good. Never were we concerned about safety to person or property during the course of work, theyve always done exactly what they said they were going to do, and have always left the property clean upon departure. Ive since recommended them to a neighbor who had a good experience and will continue to use them for future work.

Great communication and professionalism. This is a fantastic family business that takes pride in their work and honors their word. I highly recommend them. Michael provided the quote and Fabio came out to do the work with a very large crew. They took down 3 sizable trees and a little one, cleared brush on an overgrown embankment (jungle), and ground out some stumps. I asked for the woodchips and some of the wood for firewood. They left a nice pile for me and Ill be spreading that all over the garden beds. I will call again.

Dont trust this company. The service is overpriced, and they bluntly ask for paying cash. IRS should check this shady business. Happy to get the job done by another honest provider.

The crew at Lopez Landscaping spent the whole day removing 2 huge trees and trimming 5 other trees. The tree removals were very technical jobs and they did it all perfectly. They are highly skilled. They went out of their way to make me happy. They rates were the best I found. They did an excellent clean up and over delivered in general. I give them my highest recommendation. I couldnt have asked for more. They are professional and you can trust them.

I had two large trees removed with very limited access. These guys were awesome! They were professional, they were there when they said they would be, their price was very fair, and they were just an overall pleasure to work with. They did a great job cleaning up at the end which I think says a lot about the company and the pride they take in what they do. I wouldn t hire anyone else.

These guys did a fantastic job removing a monster of a tree that fell in my back yard during a storm the other day that was both large, and difficult to get at because of the configuration of my property, but they had the right equipment and know how to get it done and i was very impressed with the way they went about it. By the time they were done you couldnt tell that either the tree, or even they had been on my property where they cleaned up all traces of it, so i can only thank them for doing every aspect of the job and would gladly choose them again if i had to, or recommend them to a friend.

We had 9 - 80 foot spruce trees removed from our house in Newton. 6 trees were in a pretty tight space too. They were able to finish the job in one day. They showed up on time. They dealt with all the neighbors when needed, asking them to move cars or use driveways. They cleaned up very well after so much work. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely work with them again. They are going to return to grind stumps and grade the yard...

These guys did a good job. They had a slot open up, called me the night before to see if they could come next day, they arrived on time and worked hard until it was done.

I was very impressed with these guys. I had a big silver maple that had to go. It was squeezed in between several houses and could only be accessed from my neighbors driveway which is above my yard behind a retaining wall. They had to actually pluck the main trunk up in sections and get it over a retaining wall and a fence. They got the tree down and out in three hours with no damage and did a nice clean up. They were friendly prompt and talented. The price was good too. Highly recommend

I had about 16 trees removed. Very professional workers, very fair price and cleanup was outstanding. Would highly recommend. Written estimate and proof of insurance, not a problem. Really more than I expected. Will be using them again in the spring.

So I called for an estimate to have a tree removed and left a message. Called again and someone returned my call. They looked at the treet to be removed. Gave me a quote told him I would think about it. He then texted me dropped the price by $300.00. Told him I would get back to him. Found another company and it was $1000.00 less. Very over overprice.

I had a tree removed from my roof today and they did a great job and would definitely recommend their service. They were very nice, cleaned up and gave me a WAY better quote then the first tree service I called and I knew that kid Andrew Lobel from middle school. Fabio came by to give an estimate same day I called and came back a days later with 2 trucks and 4 guys.. Removed a fallen tree limb and trimmed back the tree so it was safe. They were courteous and accommodating. I would recommend them!

Called Lopez tree service at 9am , Fabio came and looked at large tree at 12. Gave a fair price , job was finished same day by 5:30. Had to coordinate with neighbors because of location of limbs he took care of all that . Job well done!!

Great experience! I called to get an estimate to have a large tree removed from my property. Within a couple of hours, the owner of the company was at my house with an estimate. The tree was promptly removed and my yard was left clean when they were finished. The team @ Lopez is professional and hardworking. I am very pleased with the work they did. I highly recommend them!
