Moises and his team from start to finish did a great job removing brush and part of a tree in the pond I live on. They also moved a large number of rocks to another location. Moises came to do an estimate and was very knowledgeable in his craft. He asked what I wanted and made suggestions as to keep the trees healthy and safe. I called J&A for a yard clean up job, as our City stopped picking up leaves a month before they finished falling. I spoke with Moises and came out to Medford the same day to take a look and give us a quote. I also had him take a look at a couple of diseased trees that I planned to take care of in the spring. He broke it down and explained that the trees should be taken care of sooner because they were in bad shape, to not risk them falling should we get a big wind/snow storm this winter. He gave me a very reasonable quote and a week and a half later he and a team of 3 people came to took care of 4 trees and a full yard clean up. They were fast and professional. I was already talking to him about jobs we are looking at for the spring. I highly recommend J&A.

Moises and crew are dependable and professional. They safely took down a large maple that was very close to an outdoor shed and fence, at a very competitive price. Second time in the last few years Ive used J&A Brothers and I would highly recommend them. They show up when they say they will and do a complete and professional job.

Moises and his crew are the absolute best. During the MicroBurst storm in North Andover recently they came over and removed a very large tree that had fallen on my house. I then had them remove about 6 other questionable trees that were leaning toward my house. They are professional and do everything they say they will do, and leave the are totally after performing their work. I highly recommend them to anyone needing tree services.

Moises just removed 4 trees and pruned a fourth for me this morning. Showed up promptly and started working by 7:45am and was gone by 1pm. He is very nice and easy to work with. He did a great job and provided guidance on the pruning of a 60 Elm. Picked up all the branches/twigs and used a blower to remove some of the wood chips. Lawn actually looks cleaner now than before he arrived. On top of all this, the price was quite reasonable compared to another quote I had received. I have no reservations in recommending him.
Moises and his team showed up this morning early and trimmed and took down several trees in our yard. The whole crew is very professional and the trees look great. They cleaned the yard up after they were done as well and their pricing was very reasonable. We will definitely call them again if we need more of this work done.

Highly recommend! They removed two large oak trees from my yard in-between houses in just over one day. They worked quickly and there wasnt a single leaf left to mark that they were here. They also were able to remove an old stone fireplace in a few hours. Reasonable prices and easy to work with. Thank you!
UPDATE: JULY 2022 We have used J&A Brothers to do tree work in the past, and we were very happy. We just had Moises and his crew back to do some yard work for us. They weeded and mulched our beds & pruned all shrubs/bushes. When they were done, the yard looked fantastic. As always, not only was the quality of work outstanding, but the clean up was such that youd never know they were here... great quality, great value. Moises is a genuinely nice guy who puts the customer needs first. Im a customer for life! J&A Brothers was hired to remove a tree, an old tree stump and trim large limbs off another tree. Moises showed up on time with another employee. They proceeded to to all the work they were hired to do. The tree that was trimmed looked great when they were done. Most impressive was how they cleaned up when finished to the extent that you would never know they were there. They were professional, did quality work (and clean up) and reasonably priced. I will definitely use them again to do additional tree trimming work. Great company!
I used this company for tree removal, yard cleaning as well as basic trimming. I was out of town but received photos along the way. Ill be sure to use them again in the future.

We used J & A Brothers to trim back a large Maple hanging over our house and install a bracing cable for added safety and to prune a smaller Maple and a shrub. Moises and his crew did a great job for a good price. This was the first time we hired him and we will definitely hire him for any future jobs. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends.

I had used them to do spring cleanup and tree pruning did excellent work than agreed to do my biweekly lawn care than sporadic showing up I had to contact him to pay him multiple times had to text him to see when was coming to do lawn very unreliable I do not suggest using them

Moises and his team were incredible, full stop. Id received other quotes to remove 2 trees and trim the rest, but Moises rate was unbeatable, even after I added on removing 2 more trees and some more trimming. The team arrived first thing in the morning and spent all day in my double lot taking care of business. They worked efficiently, safely and cleaned up nicely. I will use these guys for all my future tree work. You should too!
J&A Brothers recently removed a number of trees from my property in West Peabody. Three of the trees were in very awkward spots. If not carefully taken down, they could have done major damage to my home, a fence on my property, and my neighbors home. These are professionals and there were no issues. I ve had horrible experiences with tree removal companies in the past (damaging the property, leaving a mess in the yard and driveway, and just being hard to deal with). J&A offered a fair quote, showed up on time, got the job done in the set time frame (one day), and left no mess at all. Apart from a few stray wood chips they couldn t get up, my lawn and driveway looked just as it did when they arrived. I highly recommend J&A and will use them again for any tree related needs.
They quoted me $1,000 less than another vendor. I ended two threes cut and three stumps to grind, then I had trees that needed pruning and bushes that needed shaping. I thought it would take them all day especially because it was only a two man crew. Nope! They worked hard. They were punctual, professional and did excellent work. I can t recommend them highly enough.

Moises and his crew just left the house. We were amazed at his and their expertise working on our huge Catalpa that had to be Mostly taken down due to its age and close proximity to the house. He and his crew worked non stop from early morning to approx 2:00 expertly and quickly removing a limb at a time, cleaning up as they went. They worked strategically and were successful at avoiding taking out our garden situated very close to the tree. We couldn t be happier with the price and the work they did. Although the squirrels who lived there are not happy and will have to move next door to the tree beside it and will probably eat all the tomatoes, so carefully protected by the crew. Top notch in our book, we are Very pleased with and highly recommend J&A!!!
J&A Brothers removed several trees and brought up the canopies on many trees on my property. Moises and his co-workers were fantastic! They were responsible, arriving on the day they said they would. They worked hard and left the property clean. Their price beat their competitors. I highly recommend them and will use them again when needed.
