Sunshine Lawn and Landscaping in Lyndhurst

Its my first year with Sunshine and I can't complain! Every time I ask for extra services a fair price is provided and I always get what I asked. Mike is responsive and gives us full attention. Hope we can continue for many years to come.

Sunshine Landscaping of Lyndhurst has been doing my landscaping for the past few months and they’re great! Mike and his crew do great work. Very professional and friendly workers. I highly recommend them.

After reading reviews I decided to give Michael S/Sunshine Landscaping a chance.Although the reviews has shown the poor quality he brings .After his mugshot of his past dealings.I never Judge !! From the beginning I tried to explain to him that his workers was doing poor work ,quick job,leaving mulch stains on house ,not trimming the edges,grass not cut low and most recent his workers knocking down the garbage can leaving it in the middle of my neighbors driveway!!Although I kept bringing this to Michael attention he never took accountability ,gaslighting and diminishing my complaints.He is so unprofessional and can’t take criticism as a means to better his business.He ended the contract before I could ..he had a feelings I was not going to pay for such poor work…I will return back in a couple years and most likely the business won’t be here ! Please don’t even do business I should have listened to the reviews below as she had the same complaints I did …I’m happy I’m done before they did more damage to my precious lawn!!!!

Great Service! I used Mike and Sunshine Lawn and Landscaping for over 2 years and had absolutely 0 issues with his service. He had the most affordable plan that met my specific needs and he was never too busy to answer any extra questions I had about maintaining my lawn. He always did his fertilizations and treatments on-time and my long-standing weeds issue in my front lawn was a thing of the past. I would definitely recommend using Sunshine.

I've used Mike and his team for about 4 years now. He's so easy to work with- I'm an absentee landlord and have fluctuated from full service, to no service (i.e. tenants maintained the lawn), to occasional cleanups, and back to full service. He always made it easy to switch between service levels and never tried to overcharge me. Separately, he really seemed to care about the property. He let me know whenever he saw something that looked off, and even went the extra mile to alter his chemical application based on the presence of pets on the property. I'm a big fan!

I sign a contract with Sunshine for cutting and treatment of my front house lawn on April 2019,Mr Michael came to my house we meet he explain the terms this was for me and my husband the first time needing the services we agree on price $40 for every two weeks cut and $40 per treatment. Until yesterday the way the grass was cut was good, but up-to yesterday 7/16/19 the person who came to cut the grass had an incident where he broke the hose splitter that was connecting our automatic system to water the grass and another hose. The way the person handled (pulled the hose) was not the proper way if you pull something once and its not easily coming to you specially if is another person property you need to see what its obstructing and carefully bring to you to move it out of your way without breaking other person property. We had a video that shows the pulling, unfortunately I couldn't posted in this review. Accidents happen I text Mr Michael about the incident, he claim my hose was old and his guy did not wrongly move it out of the way to break it, I did not find his answer professional, I had bought the splitter and automatic system on june 27 2019. Old or New that was not the point. I work with clients my husband have a business that deal with clients if an employee makes a mistake or an accident, first apologize to the customer, then find the best solution. The splitter it's around $10 to $20. I didn't like the way the person that cut the grass treated my property. To complete my 2 star review the replies in a text of Mr Michael as the owner of Sunshine explains what type of experience he has in business, breaking the splitter was a small issue, very simple to resolve, he lost his temper and his reply was very childish. Thanks God this was a small issue. Good luck to anyone that gets to hired this contractor. On his text reply he mention he has money he does not need mines. I have been a customer for about 2 years and have been completely satisfied with the work Mike has done. Very responsive to questions and extremely easy to work with. I have not only had my lawn done but also had a clean up along with shrubs trimmed... all was perfect. Highly recommend Mike.

I’ve used Mike for several years for my landscaping. He is courteous and does a great job. He also does my snow plowing. He comes in a timely manner and he is always available when needed. I’m very busy during the day working and it’s nice to know that Mike is there taking care of all aspects of my home care. I can highly recommend him and advise that you do. You’ll certainly be relieved knowing that your in great hands....
