I had a generally positive experience with Massey Services for the initial inspection of our irrigation system—it was quick and thorough. However, the issues began when it came to scheduling repairs. We were told the appointment would be over a month out, which was frustrating but understandable given the demand. To our surprise, we received a call asking if we could move our appointment up by a week. We were delighted and, in good faith, agreed to the change. Since we had a family commitment—our daughter’s college graduation—we asked if it would be possible to schedule us first in the morning, given the tight timeline. They confirmed a 9:00 AM appointment. The day of the appointment came, but by 10AM, there was still no sign of the technician. I called Massey, only to be told that no one knew where the tech was. After a bit of back-and-forth, a lady called me back to say that the tech would be out later that day. I had to reach out again at 12:30 and spoke with James. Who made excuses. I called cooperate and they finally got the Regional manager to call me. He finally got someone out at 1:30PM. At this point, we had already wasted half of the morning waiting, and this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. To be clear, we had already moved our lawn care and pest control services to Green Supreme for the same reasons—poor communication and a lack of accountability. Now, we’re also moving on from Massey for irrigation services as well. This will be the last time we use Massey for anything, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend them based on the way they’ve handled this situation. Not happy.
I’d just like to commend one special employee at Massey in the Wesley Chapel office. Gus, our lawn technician, does an excellent job. He always shares what he’s done and asks if we have any questions after his regular service calls. And often when he’s servicing others in our neighborhood, he’ll stop by to take a quick look at our yard and if there’a a problem, he’ll let us know. Our lawn has never looked better. This is a man who takes his job seriously and simply put, cares!
Laurence Sirju is such an asset to Massey as well as to us a Massey customer. He is incredibly knowledgeable , informative and very efficient. We feel very fortunate in this time of lack of customer care to have such a kind and caring customer service personal with Massey taking care of our home. Grateful and thank you.
Laurance Sirju was awesome ! He went over everything patiently many times to make sure I had an understanding of what we were doing in areas of outside and inside the house. Great personality. Warm genuine n friendly !
We have had Massey as our lawn and sprinkler maintenance service for about 6 months. I recently was home when Brent Bjornson arrived to do our service. He was kind enough to allow me to accompany him as he did his service. He answered every question and spent quite a bit more time on his call than he should have, to make sure I was comfortable with the ‘education’ I was getting. I really appreciate his wilingness to extend himself like he did.
I must applaud Massey services of Wesley Chapel. They stand true to their products efficiency. More importantly one of the hardest things to find in service industry is integrity and customer care while in understaffed conditions. As busy as that office was I understand the delayed responses but nonetheless I am content. Carla in the office and Jay heading the field (on the lawn service side, not the pest side) took care of me and attentive to what I was saying. Thank you both. I was so upset by an interaction i had with customer service when paying our bill that i cancelled the service. Somehow the inspector still showed up to do the annual termite inspection a few days later. I almost told the inspector (Laurance Sirju) to leave. He asked for more information regarding my dissatisfaction with the customer service rep. After which, he took the time to explain certain things about the service that the CSR refused to or was too ignorant to be able to explain. Not only was he professional, he was informative, knowledgeable, courteous and extremely helpful! He alone was the reason I decided not to cancel but actually renew the service AND add on additional services! THANK YOU LAURANCE FOR BEING THE MOST PROFESSIONAL AND NICEST PERSON TO COME OUT OF Massey! You saved the company my business.
Laurance Sirju came by to perform our annual termite inspection. Laurance arrived on time, was very knowledgeable, and took the time to give us a very thorough inspection. I could tell he was very invested in giving us the best possible service. The appointment ended with us feeling like our home is in great hands.
The technician who performed the repairs and maintenance of my lawn sprinkler system was knowledgeable, professional, and explained all the repairs he made in a way that was easy for me to understand.
Lawn service does not show up when scheduled (Massey sets the schedule) then call me a liar when I call to report that service has not been completed. Started out well, but 4 years later, not so good. Tried to visit website, would not let me log in. Called the service number and no answer, just kept on hold for over 10 minutes. Lawn is looking poorly. Will be looking for another service this fall.

Mr Sirju understood the limitations of the irrigation system availability and remained flexible for the timing of his visit. He thoroghly checked the system and corrected many situations where costly water wastages were occurring. He taught the owner to set and operate the system effectively. An honest appraisal of the system was also provided. Over all an excellent experience! Mr Sirju is better than 5 star! Good job Laurance! .

I hired Massey for my Lawn Care Service and Irrigation System Service. I received my first Lawn Care Service this past week and it was a great experience. From the inspector that came to my house to provide an initial quote to the technician that came out to perform the Lawn Care Service top notch customer service. I would recommend this company and keep up the great work.
Massey has provided lawn weed and pest control, irrigation maintenance for our yard and pest control and termite protection for our home for over 6 years. Very poor experience with this company. After telling us that we had a leak in our irrigation system, and someone would call us to set up an appointment, I didnt hear from the company for a week. I eventually called them to make the appointment. When the technician arrived 3 weeks after the leak was discovered he poked around in the grass with a stick and handheld shovel for about 30 minutes, said he couldnt find it and theyd have to send someone else with special equipment. This required more phone calls from me to them, after being told someone would contact me. When the second technician arrived, several weeks after the first, he had no notes on what the tech before him had done. He also had no special equipment. This technician was a new hire and seemed to be the only individual at the company interested in helping us. Unlike the first tech, he was on his hands and knees searching for almost 2 hours. He didnt find it but I will give that person credit, he tried his best. After dealing with the company, I can only assume he had inadequate training. Masseys next suggestion to me next was to wait for a 3rd employee to come dig holes in my lawn. Ive since found another irrigation company who found the leak within an hour of arriving to my home, I wish I did that a few hundred dollars earlier. Ive used their lawn and pest services services for years and truthfully will continue to do so, but I cannot recommend the irrigation services any less.

3 months ago I made the decision to move service from Plant IT Earth (PIE) it turned out to be the worst decision Ive ever made. The only reason why I decided to move because PIE was not providing shrub and plant beds fertilizing plus weed killer around shrubs. When the sales person came over for estimate, he promised everything that I was looking for the additional fee that came with service. One of my concerns was the high turnover ratios of techs that provide service every month, I was told the tech who will be servicing was voted top tech in the area and was doing route for a long time. Days later when my 1st service began I met the tech Andre, he was very cordial as I walked him around the property and showed him the property lines and my expectations of the service I signed up for, he preceeded to do complete service and did a very good job not missing any areas. Days later I called the company to schedule the aeration, only to find out the salesperson was no longer with the company. I also requested for the 2nd time a phone call or text msg the day prior to service so I can make sure Im home to monitor their service is completed. The 2nd month service came around and by luck I happen to be home and captured the arrival with my around the property Ring Security. The technician that came was not Andre, it was somebody else taking over the route, I was told Andre is no longer working for the company. I also did not received a call the day prior as previously requested twice. After reviewing my Ring devices (5) I noticed the tech went thru the property in less than 5 mins and moved on. In between the 2nd and 3rd month I noticed lots of brown patches around the property when I mowed the grass they were clearly visible. I called the company to report it and was promised a Mgr visit the next day, that visit never came and 3 days later I called again and also requested the yearly irrigation inspection. The irrigation inspection was horrendous, 2 techs arrived, every part of the inspection was not completed, which includes water pressure check, check for leaks, sprinkler heads. Out of 30 sprinkler heads on the property and 5 zones, only 2 or 3 heads were checked. It was a total waste of an inspection. Couple days later I invested in a $569 hedge trimmer, only to find my hedges were fully covered with aphids and insects similar to baby brown butterflies or moths (this is part of their monthly inspection). I called Massey/Sharon twice over the last month to cancel my service and I must say she makes every possible promise to keep the acct but the promises are false and makes the service experience very stressful. In all visits, not once did I received my requested phone call. The only service that was satisfactory was the yearly aeration, the tech was friendly and ran through the entire property without missing a spot. I cancelled my service yesterday and going back to PIE and I will be doing my own weed control around my plant beds and shrubs. $77 a month vs $50 for PIE is a no brainer which I regret canceling them 3 months ago. Beware of false promises and services not done as per service agreement. Beware of false commitments from the salesperson. In 6yrs my grass has not looked as bad as it is now, with weeds, brown patches. UPDATE: 8/18/2020 After receiving the generic response from the company 8/6/20, as of today Im still waiting to hear from them. People do yourself a favor and beware of this horrendous company! They are masters of making false promises!
This company sucks. Hired them to do simple irradiation work at my home, they never call ahead and came at a time I wasnt there. Didnt leave anything to inform me that they came not called to see if I was satisfied or review what they did. I want happy with the replacement sprinkler they installed, not what I asked them to do and the manager said he was going to have the guy that did it call me...2 months later, nothing. I would not recommend them and would if negative stars if i could!!!
