We had a landscape spotlight to go out. I requested Hillard & Sons diagnose the issue. I was told we needed another spotlight and photo cell. The 2 techs took less than 15 minutes to diagnose and when they installed the new spotlight and photo cell it took them less than 30 minutes. When I received the invoice we were charged $652.05 with $330 for labor and the ONE spotlight was $249.36 & photo cell $23. Additionally, it looked nothing like the other spotlights though they are still available. I called and asked for an explanation of the charges and was then transferred to someone else who after admitting their price per hour is less than what was reflected on the invoice and when I questioned the price of the spotlight he said send me what you think it is worth🤔 who would do that if they thought they charged a customer fairly? Sad how this business will overcharge customers but NEVER again will we use them for anything nor refer anyone to them again.

During the purchase of the new mower, the owner was all on us throwing that sales pitch. He said several times that he would buy it back if i didnt like it or it didnt do what i needed it to do, well that was a lie. When the motor blowed up at 51 hours and the engines were on back order i never could get an update from them so i was calling Briggs And Stratton myself to get updates. 4 months later they got the motor in but my mower wasnt ready because they wanted to put a new PTO on it, nothing was wrong with the other PTO. Two weeks later the new one came in and got my mower back, finally. After 40 hours now the other new pto has gone out. The owner refuses to return my calls. The service team wont look you in the eye when you ask them a queastion, they look to the side and just say, i'd have to look. But i had to wait 2 weeks for a PTO before but he could possibly have it monday if he ordered it today, but it would be mid next week before he could get it looked at. I guess they were all born with silver spoons in their mouth and as long as your giving them money, they seem to be the best they can be and act like they care. But you need warranty work done? Now your on the back burner. I even got somebody elses mower keys and they got mine with my shed key on it. They dont know how that happened either. LEAVE THE KEYS IN THE MOWER INSIDE YALL'S LOCKED SHOP. If it would let me do less of a star than a full one then maybe id give them 1 1/2 of a point.
Charged me $500 for installation of a controller box. Would not recommend for residential use. Crew sent without notice, crew did not communicate well. I still have a leak and issues to a zone in backyard.

Customer service was awful. Brought mower in for regular service & to replace mowing deck belt & parking brake cable. Brought in on a Monday morning & asked if it would be ready on Wednesday. (I live 60 mi each way) had business on Wednesday. Didn't want to make multiple trips. They said it would be fine. It wasn't ready when I came 2 days later. Said belt was being shipped. Didn't bother telling me before leaving. I waited another week & still they're waiting for belt. Told them I'm going to bring them a belt for them to install(found in town) & I'll pick it up afterwards. Was told everything else was done. Yet on way home, noticed mower had moved with parking brake up(saw individual pull it up after loading). Guess what? No brake cable installed. Forgot to mention that I told them filter was OK not to replace. Bill was over $180. Filter was replaced, brake cable not installed, & I provided the belt. $180+ for an oil change? Really??? Avoid!
They were able to fix (and add) all the sprinkler zones that got torn up when we had our new pool put in. They got started the same day they came out to give us the quote. Can’t wait to use them for the rest of our sod and landscaping needs. Very knowledgeable and professional.
Good selection of soils, mulches and rocks for landscaping or garden projects. I have purchased about 10 truck loads of their landscapers mix so far and it works great for raised vegetable beds.
They are very efficient and easy to work with. Show up when promised.
