I started using Ashton Waldon Turf Services in October of 2020. I will get 6 treatments on my yard through out the year. So far, Im on my 2nd treatment. The reason I decided to use Ashton turf services. Because they were highly recommend by a friend. What I like about Ashton turf services, they will contact you a day before, that they are coming to your house. They will let you know, what they did to your yard. They will recommend how to improve your yard. I do see a improvement on my yard, even thought my yard is dormant at the moment.

We have been using them for years now and we love using them. Everyone they send are friendly and best of all they are exceptionally nice to our dogs. I like that they stop and pet them. Our dogs are fairly large and can be intimidating but that doesn t stop them from being caring towards them.

The service is great and they do a great job. My only reason for a 4 star rating is because I received a follow up survey and it says Its going to ask for a tip, but please no pressure to give one Why ask? I dont feel like this type of service should be tipped. Tipping is for waitstaff that make a wage under minimum wage and tipping helps bring their hourly wage above $7.25 per hour.

We had contracted for a year of services upfront. Our yard was never rid of weeds, I was constantly hand pulling them. The last time we called for service, we were billed for over $80.00. Apparently, they charge by application and we had already received 6 treatments. Sure didn t seem like that many! Rather than telling us our service contract was up, they billed us for 1 service. We paid up, but if you want a weed free yard, look elsewhere!

After an unsatisfactory experience, a company employee came out immediately to apologize and offer a refund. He was very professional and understood our concerns. I am happy to say the company is very responsive and puts customer satisfaction first. Thank you!

I was mowing my lawn early one morning and as I was mowing my lawn an Ashton Walden Van pulled up. I was not expecting them because they do a fantastic job of letting me know when they are coming to my place. I stopped what I was doing and approached the young man in the van. He said I notice your Ashton Walden sign on your law and I see therere some weeds on your sidewalk. He ask if it was okay to spray those to make sure they are dead. I said absolutely. I was shocked!!!! It took less than 3 min and he left. Guys this is what makes them different than all the others. I will definitely be recommending these guys to everyone I know. If I could give 10 stars I would. Dont waste your money on trash. These guys do business the right way.

I have used Walden turf service since 2019. They come out I believe every 2 month and apply what need for weed control and to help my yard green. The nice thing is if random weed pop in between application they come out and reapply free of charge.

We had many weeds in both back and front yards. Ashton Walden s crew was able to get rid of those for us. We also could not grow grass underneath our globe willow in the backyard. I. Consultation with Ashton Walden s crew it was suggested to seed with fescue. There are still some bare spots, of which we may redo this fall, but most of the area did grow grass/fescue and looks so much better! I would and have definitely recommended Ashton Walden for your property!

I have really bad weeds and the grass was dying. They came out once a month and sprayed for weeds and fertilized. They called first to let me know they were on the way. My yard looks so much better! I am really happy with their service. Also if i found a weed that was not dying, they came back at no charge to spray it again.

My home is on a corner lot. My yard gets all the WEEDS. I was battling weeds by myself for 10 years prior to hiring AW. They started in the summer of 2019 and this last summer, and my front yard was GORGEOUS. We are still battling the occasional rubbery weed but I feel certain by the end of 2021 those will all be disposed of. If you are on the fence about paying the quarterly fees, just know you spend more at local stores buying weed control and sprays that dont work and you are spending your precious time applying them and pulling weeds. I have used Ashton Walden Turf Services for 4 years now. They are very diligent in helping me to make my lawn look great. They always text at least a day before servicing my lawn and they always come when they say they will. I very much appreciate that. They are also very responsive if I need anything in between applications.

We find this company to do the best in Lubbock on keeping our lawn in its best condition. They are the best at doing exactly what our lawn needs and always on time when they tell you they will be there unlike other companies we have used to do the same work.

A great local company that takes care of every lawn care need with service and care. Used them first then tried another National company that just couldnt give the same quality service even though we were told they could at a lower cost. Just wasnt worth the hassle. I ve been using them for a few years. Reasonably priced and we don t have to guess what we need or when. Only thing is I wish we received more than 1 day notice of when they are coming to spray. Like that I can pay online and look up information. Great staff, friendly this is a company anyone would be lucky to work for.

I am a new customer and my 2nd treatment is scheduled for tomorrow. I have called in to the office a few times just to make sure everything is good, payment received, etc...yes, Im that customer. :) Each time they are very friendly and are proactive about my service. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new place to take care of your yard. Also, the guys that come out are patient and able to answer any questions. I appreciate this, especially since I have a pup and a chemical is used. My yard isnt the greatest, but even after just the 1 treatment, I can tell a difference. Thanks Ashton Walden!

Be aware that if you start this service any time other than the first of the year then you will not see results of any kind. We started our service in March/April, just after they do the first step of the process which the tech that came out said was basically just spraying Round Up. After two steps into the process and following their exact recommendations for yard maintenance, we decided that we werent seeing any kind of change at all in our yard and in fact, it appeared to be getting worse. When we asked about it we were told that we wouldnt see any results this year since we started our service after their first step by a couple of weeks into their schedule. They didnt make any effort to come out and start us on the first step, they just jumped in at the second step knowing that there would be no improvements. Our family members that have had Ashton Walden service for over a year told us they have seen no noticeable change in their yard either and they never skipped any of the so-called steps. When my wife called to cancel she was treated as though WE were the ones who did something wrong and it was our fault for not being satisfied with the service. My wife was upset after the receptionist over the phone basically berated her and she was still unable to get the service canceled. She was told that even though we didnt sign a contract it was a handshake agreement and we were required to continue service through the last steps that were doing nothing for our yard. I had to call the woman myself and after her attempting the same garbage sales saving techniques on me I was finally able to convey to her that if she did not remove us from their service list and cancel the service that this would become a more serious problem very quickly. The fact that I had to call at all and that the woman on the phone is trained to belittle their clients should tell you enough about their company. I will not do business with this company again and I recommend that anyone else looking for lawn service in the area find another more reputable company.
